The Broken Glasses (A SkyDoesMinecraft one-shot)

The Broken Glasses

He stormed around looking for them. Where could they be? He had only taken the inanimate object off last night, before he went to bed. Obviously he wouldn't want to sleep in them; that would be uncomfortable. He controverted the absence of them. Who would even steal a pair of sunglasses?

'Maybe if I ask Tyler or Ty, they'll know where they went' he thought to himself.

He proceeded to walk down the cobblestone stairs of his castle. The castle was beautiful on the outside and was surrounded by budding mountains. He really liked his location, because he could live here with his friends, and not be disturbed by society. The castle was even owned by his grandmother; the one who gave him his sunglasses as a perquisite for his work.

He realized that by the time he was done thinking, he was already down the stairs. Looking over, he saw his brother, Tyler, sitting on their couch tranquilly. It was inferable that he was talking to his best friend, Kyle.

"Tyler, have you seen my sunglasses? I can't seem to accommodate for them," he questioned.

"Sorry, Sky, I haven't. Maybe ask Ty? I believe he's in the basement. Careful when going down the steps though. The light for the stairs went out last night," Tyler replied, almost as if portending something was going to happen.

"Alright, thank you!"

"No problem man."

Sky walked into the kitchen and grabbed a flashlight, then proceeded to the basement door. 'This darkness looks a bit unsavory to me..' he thought to himself. However, he shrugged off the feeling that something was horribly wrong.

As he started walking down the stairs, he turned on the flashlight, and shone it at the stairs. He seen oft-recurring black shards of some object. Finally, he had reached the end of the seemingly never-ending stairs.

"Ty?" He called out, but received no answer.

Suddenly, the lights flashed on and off for just a second, allowing him to see most of the basement. What he saw, startled him.

Ty was standing in the middle of the basement; alone.

"Hey, there you are, Ty! Have you seen my sunglasses?" Sky asked the strange acting man.

Ty chuckled darkly. Then, started walking to the man until he was in frint of him.

"Oh, I've seen your glasses, Sky. I broke them a while ago, while you were sleeping!" Ty claimed.

Realizing that Ty was quickly losing it, he started to back up. Ty was acting as if there were a malevolent being in him. 'How did this even happen to my best friend?' Sky thought while backing up from the scary man. He turned around to run up the stairs; going to seek help. But, an arm caught his wrist before he could even move an inch.

"Sky, you should've stayed asleep while you could have," Ty whispered into his ear.

Suddenly, he felt very sleepy. Maybe he should have stayed in bed, like Ty advised. His body felt numb as he plunged to the hard, cold, cobblestone floor. Blackness protruded from his vision, as he realized what was happening.

'I should have stayed asleep, and never looked for my glasses.' He thought grimly to himself. The blackness had summoned him, to a permanent sleep.

If only he had stayed sleeping.
