Stiles POV

It was a dim morning. I couldn't sleep. I sat at my window contemplating going for a walk when suddenly Zac was sitting comfortably on a thick tree branch. I opened the window seeing his smirk widen. "Don't you sleep ?" I asked earning a deep chuckle.

"Don't you ?" I felt a spark shoot down my spine as he watched me. I couldn't comprehend the feeling. It was like excitement & dear all at once. "That isn't what I asked..." His eyes flashed a deep red when he grinned standing up on the branch. "Come on. You deserve some actual fun."

He held out his hand for me with a playful smirk on his face. His sleeve had risen some so I could see the tattoo on his wrist. A rose 🌹. Before I could pull back Zac pulled me onto the branch with a firm grip on my waist. "Wouldn't want you falling, now would we ?" He said as he grinned widen making my knees go weak. What the hell was happening to me ?

His sweet side was then ruined when he pushed me off the branch causing me to tumble to the ground. "Why'd you do that !?" I yelled as he jumped down & continued to walk away. "Come on Stiles !"

I quickly got up & ran. Once I catched up he then took me to this place I've never seen before. It was just outsife of Beacon Hills. "What's this ?" I asked in astonishment. "This is common ground. My pack had been here for centuries. You didn't think the Hale's were the only one's around here, did you ?"

I would've answered, but an adorable little girl & boy ran up to Zac clutching onto his legs. "Brother !" They yelled happily causing Zac to give a warming smile. I could tell he was not putting up some defense. "Tay...Minnie...meet Stiles." The small children turned to me and tilted their heads in confusion. Zac looked like me with dyed blue hair. "Why does he look like you ?" Minnie asked poking my leg. "You'll understand when you're older, Min." Zac said not wanting his sister to worry.

She smiled before running off. His brother Tay just hugged me unexpectedly before following his sister. "So you brought me to your pack ? Why Zac ?" Zac then shoved me as his eyes flashed a dark red. "Why do you think ?" He growled as I shoved back. My eyes lighting up in this golden color. "I don't know." Zac's eyes stayed red as he forcefully grabbed my wrist bringing me over to a tent. Once inside I met the eyes of a young girl. "Bailey..." Zac said as the girl grimaced. The girl then noticed me & screamed. "You found him ! You found him !" That is when we were left alone once more.

He opened up some papers & started reading them out to me. "The most powerful trio. Dopplegangers...an fallen angel from hell, an alpha of alphas turning his pack into betas with one deadly look, & the hybrid." That's where he started. I knew exactly who he was talking about. I remained quiet. What exactly was he trying to tell me ? "The royal family's brought together. Angels bows, packs fall to their knees, & kings take the throne." I let out a breathe I had no idea I was holding looking up meeting Zac's softened eyes. "So all this is to bring us together ?" Zac put a hand over his heart grinning. "I didn't know you wanted me that way, Stiles..."

I laughed & he soon joined in. As things were quieting down I headed back outside seeing the sunrise. "It's beautiful, isn't it ?" I smiled before asking about Zac's tattoo. "What foes tge tattoo on your wrist mean ?" Zac looked shocked, but rolled up his sleeve anway. It was a black rose with thorns. "It was the day my older brother was murdered by on of the Hale pack..."

I immediately felt horrible. "I'm sooo sorry-- I didn't mean !--" Zac gave me a look & I quickly shut my mouth. "They didn't know my brother Sam wasn't a threat to them. All they daw was ref eyes & thought an alpha had challenged them. I was just a pup when he was killed. I try not to let Tay & Minnie feel that pain."

I then was upset. You can't just kill people because they make you have doubt they're trustworthy. "Who killed him ? If you don't mind me asking..." The next minute happened so fast. Zac had a hand caress the side of my face gently. "I don't mind. Us broken souls should stick together. I'm sorry about you're mother, the sheriff's wife." I sucked in a breath as I looked to the ground. Zac's hand hadn't left my face. We had said a word or moved a muscle. I'm guessing he had no idea who killed his brother...

Our silence was broken when Griffen (A/N if you didn't read the chapter before...he is mentioned there loves ❤.) had ran up to Zac. "What. Do. You. Want." Zac growled as he turned to Griffin. Griffin paled as his eyes flashrf yellow. "Your father wishes to see you."

Zac sighed & his hand slowly retracted from my face. "Stay with Stiles." He ordered leaving me alone with Griffen, my thoughts, & the sunrise.

Zac POV

I walked into the tent farthest away from where I had just left Stiles to meet my father. "You wanted to see me ?" I asked as my father frowned. He always hated what I did to my hair & the tattoo. "Tay & Minnie will have their ceremony in a few days. It would mean a lot to them if you welcome them into packhood as young alphas, not pups." I smiled wide & hugged my dad. "Of course I'd do it ! You didn't even have to ask !"

My father laughed before removing himself from my hug. "I had seen you with the hybrid. You certainly aren't yourself." My father teased. "So what ?" My dad laughed once more as I began to blush. "I know you're strong, but you aren't alone. Sam would want you to show the young boy you once were too."

I slowly nodded thinking about ny brother. I said my goodbyes before I headed back in the direction of Stiles. Minnie seemed to be entertaining him. "My brother is the best ! I want hair like him !" She said causing me to laugh. "Ready for you're ceremony pup ?" I asked as I picked up Minnie kissing her on the cheek. In some ways my younger siblings were more like my kids rather than our parents. "I'm sooo ready Zac-Pie !" Stiles then burst out with laughter.

"Zac-Pie ? What is she trying to call you Senpai ?" I sent Minnie off happily & watched Stiles laugh his ass off. I flashed my eyes red & started walking closer to Stiles until we were out of view & I had him corned on a tree. "Why I'd up with you and trees ?" He asked in a few of laughs.

I ignored how goofly he was being & leaned down to whisper in his ear. "That's the most I've heard you laugh, Silas." He froze. No one besides Stefan & Damon called him Silas.

I tried to calm myself down when suddenly backed away from him. "Come on. Let's get something to eat in town." Stiles nodded and we walked back...more like ran back to town.

We had sat down at the little cafe and just had coffee. He seemed happy, but he also seemed hesitant. So I decided to break some of the tension. "There's no beed to worry. No one will hurt you again. It's about time you forgave them instead of trying to earn their love." He looked an me & did something I wouldn't have deemed possible. He poured his coffee over my head.

"You satisfied ?" I asked smiling so everyone who was watching could see my pearly white teeth. "Yes. I am." It was after midday already. Spending this time with him wasn't as bad as I'd thought it would be.

"You don't know what it's like...one day they were my pack & after the Nogitsune they left." He said handing me some napkins. He honeslty looked horrible whenever he spoke about them. You could hear the longing & nostalgia in his voice. "I know the feeling. I had friends once, but fue to how I can get alphas of my pack to bow down they said I was 'too powerful & that they couldn't handle it', so don't say shit like that expecting pity from me."

Stiles looked out the window next to him as I cleaned myself up. We sat in utter silence. Trying to understand the other...
