Blade woke up one morning. Kathy was still asleep with since it was the weekend. He smiled seeing her and brushed her hair behind her ear gently with his hook. Torch and Pinhead were still asleep on Kathy's sofa bench. He smiled seeing them, but turned back to Kathy. She was sound asleep as he continued to touch her hair gently.

Later that day. Blade would disappear and run back to Kathy with small gifts. They were of flowers, abandoned small toys he finds and cleans them before giving them to her, and even chocolate he, Torch, and Pinhead got for her.

Kathy thought it was cute that Blade was doing this. He was so sweet.

She was sitting on the porch in the backyard with Torch and Pinhead, when Blade came to her with a small white daisy he plucked for her. Kathy smiled and took it. "Awe, Blade, You're in a giving-gifts mood today."

I just want to make my love happy.

Kathy then leaned in and kissed his forehead. Torch and Pinhead chuckled at him softly. They could see now Blade was definitely inlove with Kathy now.

Kathy was in her bedroom with Blade as Torch and Pinhead went out for a walk in the forest. She was reading him a book and had him on her lap holding his knife arm gently. Blade felt happy. He enjoyed this. He loved being with Kathy as always. He then turned to her after she finished the book. He tried something he never did before.

"...k-...K..."

Kathy froze and turned to Blade, "..."

"Ka...Kath...thy..."

He just spoke. He could never do that. Kathy came to him and held his hook, "did...did you just speak?"

"...y...ye...sss..."

Kathy then smiled. She was amazed by this. She cupped his face and kissed his nose. "Oh, Blade, I'm so proud of you."

Blade smiled and blushed at her. "K-Kath...thy...?"

"Yes?"

"I...lo...love...y-you..."

Kathy then smiled holding his face with one hand and Blade kissed her hand. She then blushed. All this time she thought he loved her like family. "You mean...inlove with me?"

"...y-yes..."

Kathy blushed more. She didn't know if she loved him back like that. She felt something the night they went to prom together when he was human. Like ...maybe she was inlove.

"D-do-n't...y-you?" Blade asked worriedly.

Kathy then pulled him close to her. "...I-I don't know, but I felt something strange when we danced together on prom nigh, when you were human. Like...I may have fell for you...but I don't know if it's inlove...I never fell inlove with anyone."

I never have either, but I know I am inlove with you, Kathy...I know I am.
