Chapter 10: The Endless Night of Dining and Almosts

We continued to sway into the music. Though I could feel many more stares on the both of us, I cutted them off. It were only the two of us, one by one everyone vanished, leaving only us on the dance floor.

Prince Austin was about to say something to me when a huge force smashes between us. It caught me off guard, so I couldn't do anything. The force grabbed me by the waist and whisked me away from Prince Austin who stood there as dumbfounded as me. I stared at my captor in disbelief, he stole me. He had literally sweeped me off my feet.

"How dare you, I was dancing with someone if you haven't notice." I said, still in a bit of shock.

"Oh I have noticed, and I have dared." He said, staring at me with blue eyes.

He was a tall guy, with brown cropped hair, short at the back and long at the front. He also wore a mask like me, an eye mask that also covers the bridge of the nose. He wore his suit perfectly, and a light gray tie that could be mistaken as... a blade. My eyes widened and I slightly glanced down to see two swords on each side.

"Double Death." I whispered.

He held me tighter, and whisper into my ear. "In the flesh, Musey."

I choked on that, it's Double Death. Who knows what he would do, I've disrespected one the the Big Five.

"What do you want?" I asked after regaining my cool.

"Nothing." He said, as he twirled me. "You look quite beautiful tonight."

I remember a long time ago a friend of mine gave me five rules when dealing with the Big Five. She later died after she lost it and didn't follow the five rules.

1. Accept comments.

"Thank you." I said.

2. Give comments

"You look well yourself." I told him, trying my best to be sincere.

"What is with the manners all of a sudden, Musey?" He mused. "You've finally learned them?"

3. Accept criticism

I had to really hold my tongue to not counter attack. "Y-yes."

He frowned but continued to dance. The music started to slow down, I'm not going to put up with this. With an open finger from his grasp, I pointed to the orchestra to speed up the song. No way am I slow dancing with Death.

"Are you scared of me, Musey? Is that what this all about?"

4. Don't anger them

I didn't know what to say, so I didn't respond to his question.

"I'm not going to kill you, if that's what you're so scared about."

And last but not least, 5. Don't get killed

I gulped. "Thank you for your reassuring me."

"Stop talking like that?"

"Talking like what, Double Death?"

"Like that." He pointed out. "You're acting so formal and with manners, you're scared of me. Stop that."

I didn't reply once more.

"I want to meet the girl that smart talked me, the sly assassin that maybe saved my sorry ass."

I took a deep breath. "You're one of the Big Five," was all I could tell him.

"Yes, I know that. Is that why you're like- oh I see now."

He sighed to himself. "Please stop that. No, I order you to stop talking like that, there now you have to talk to me normally."

Thank you, God.

"Now what the hell is wrong with you? I was dancing with his royal highness, are you out of you mind, Death?"

He smiled. "There's Musey, I haven't seen you for some time now."

I gritted my teeth. "Now if you excuse me, Death, I will be go back to Prince Austin."

But that only made him hold me tighter. "The Prince? Why do you want to go back to dancing with the playboy?"

"Because it's rude, and he's of the royal family. Who knows what will happen."

"Nothing. You see the royal family as tyrants that use their power for their own use. But they aren't, you're acting like they'll kill you if you say no to them."

"And they won't?"

"No, but the government will."

I opened my mouth, but closed it. He's right of course, no contest there.

Honestly, everyone hates the MAG, from bounty hunters, assassins and normal people alike. But mostly scared, even I'm scared of just hearing the name. They like this king part only, but the government itself is hated. The president of the government, President Octavio uses his power to control everyone. Him and the king are good friends, so my best bet that Octavio is hiding all of this from the king. What he does, is simple. He steals from the rich and poor, and keeps it all for himself. And he'll kill anyone who gets it in his way, and plotting it like some sort of accident or it was the person's fault. But the king just sits there, oblivious of what's happening in his kingdom. And both the Bountyhood and the Big Five lie in service of the MAG, I guess I can understand why many members quit.

Double Death saw my discomfort and quickly changed the subject. "So I've seen you introducing, the best one I've even seen."

I smiled, silently thanking him. "Really?"

"There were many others, mostly funny. Some people actually tripped, others were carried by pets, the usual stuff."

"And what about you?"

"I just appeared in front of the king as soon as my name was called, no need for the mile walk."

I nodded, knowingly.

"Hey, hey you!" I heard someone say.

I turned to see Prince Austin bounding towards us. Prince Austin grabbed me and yanked me away from Double Death. He glared at Death, as if challenging him to a showdown.

"Who do you think you are, stealing her just while we were dancing?" Prince Austin demanded, as he stepped in front of me.

"Saving her as it would seems, since you  were boring her to death."

"You guys are making a scene," I muttered nervously, smiling sheepishly.

There was a huge circle forming around us, everyone was watching. Will this argument turn into a fight. Then I remembered that the letter specifically requested to not turn arguments into fights. They ignored my silent plea.

"And who are you know? Are you her boyfriend?" He asked Double Death.

"Are you?" He retorted.

"You guys." I muttered, trying again. "Take your argument elsewhere, just not here."

"Yes, I think she's right," Double Death pointed out. "Let's take this outside."

"Don't matter if I-"

Huge doors coming from North of the ballroom slowly opened wide.

A butler said in a loud voice. "Dinner is ready to be served."

I sighed with relief, saved by dinner. Everyone started to head towards the doors. Prince Austin grabbed my hand, then Double Death grabbed the other. They glared at each other like 2 dogs fighting over a bone. I don't like that comparison.

"Let go." Double Death ordered.

"As being in a higher rank, you should let go."

"Someone, save me," I silently pleaded to myself.

Suddenly someone touched my shoulder and I instantly vanished. I hugged Invisible Ink, who put her finger to her lips. Wood Cutter was holding hands with her, so I took the other hand and we walked to the dining room. I slightly looked back to see Prince Austin and Double Death dumbfounded on where I went.

Invisible Ink let go of me and Wood Cutter. We headed to a table where Paintress and Bulls-Eye were sitting. Everyone sat in the table where they rank, kind of like high school. First timers or newbies sat in the tables farthest from the door. The closer you are to the king, the higher you rank. Invisible Ink and Wood Cutter found their seats, there were stand up cards that has your names written to them. As if it was fate, they sat next to each other. I looked around the table to not find my name at all.

"Do any of you guys see my card?"

Paintress looked around. "No, do want me to paint one up for you?"

"Maybe Inky here turned it invisible," Wood Cutter offered.

"Hey! I didn't I swear, I just got here remember?"

A butler appeared to my side. "May I lead you to your seat, Masked Musician?"

"Uh, sure. I mean, yes, thank you."

He gave me a short nodded and turned to walk. I looked back at my friends who shrugged, just as confused as I am. The butler lead me far from my friends, too far for a first timer.

As each table passed, it made me feel queasy from the many confused looks I was getting. Then he lead me to the table to where I was scared I was going to faint. I was by the Bountyhood table, where the royal family sat at the end of the table.

"There must be some kind of mistake, I don't-" I turned to see the butler mysteriously vanished. He shall pay, sooner or later.

The king noticed me standing and smiled at. "Ah, Masked Musician, so glad you can join us. Sit."

I looked for the only unoccupied seat that is right at the middle. I was right in front of the king, having Prince Austin right diagonal of me. He mouthed to me, where were you? Double Death was two seats away from Prince Austin. I can't believe I'm right here, in the Bountyhood table, it's not possible.

It's not possible.

I only see 12 people in this table, 3 of them are the royal family, the other nine are the Bountyhood. There's suppose to be 10, ten members of the Bountyhood. I can't, I can't be a member of the Bountyhood. I thought to get in you need a letter of recognition once a member quits. Unless... I looked at Double Death who gave me a wink.  He was the one who put me in the Bountyhood, I can't believe it! When did it happen, I only met him a few days ago. I need to thank him formally for this. This is such an honor.

"So is it true, Masked Musician?"

I looked up, startled by the question. "Yes, I mean, uh. What was the question?"

Someone frowned at me, making two guys chuckle.

It turned out to be The Magician, who's an assassin and one of the Big Five. The name actually suits him, since his power is magic. I never met him in person or saw him in action, but he's really powerful and mysterious. He wore a magician's top hat that seems fitting. I wonder if he can pull out a rabbit from it.

"I asked if it's true about the Musical Massacre."

Oh that thing again?

"Yes, what about it?"

"Is it true you used music only to kill Blake's 100 men?"

I nodded. "Yeah, I just, you know, played on my violin."

"And what did you have them do?" Someone asked me who wore a fiery red suit, with a bit of too much excitement.

"I had them kill themselves with their weapons." I replied, adding. "In unison."

"Oh that's cool, right bro?" He looked at the guy next to him who wore a dark blue suit.

"Yeah, I wish we can do that."

I then realized who they were. "Wait you guys are the Elemental Twins, Burning Water."

"See, I told you Burning Water sounds stupid." Trench muttered to his brother.

"Well you wanted Boiling Water, they both sound the same." Aiden retorted back.

Meet the Elemental Twins, Aiden the fire twin and Trench the water twin. Both are assassins and both are one of the Big Five. It's pretty rare for someone to become one of the Branded, but two is probably impossible. And what's also weird is that they freely use their names, but it's hard choosing titles for themselves since a lot are taken. I can relax with the twins, they're pretty nice, being two of the Big Five.

Aiden then went back to me. "So you've heard of us? Have you heard of how we became assassins?"

Everyone in the table groaned.

"Don't make him tell."

"I'd rather go to jail than listen to this."

"Someone, kill me now."

I looked around. "Something tells me... no."

Everyone began to thank me, leaving Aiden with a sad look on his face.

"Maybe next time," I added, making his face light up again.

Then dinner was served. Waiters bustled out of the kitchen, carrying piles of food that seem pretty impossible. They set the food down all in unison then left to the kitchen. I never realized how hungry  I am, then I realized.

"Fidget, where are you?"

Suddenly he appeared on my shoulder, and yipped happily.

"Aw, is that a horned marten? They are so rare!" Someone exclaimed.

"Yeah, I know." I looked to see I was talking to Animalia.

She was wearing a beautiful green gown with animal silhouettes that seem to move. Animalia a bounty hunter of the Big Five, as her name says power has something to do with animals. You can see her tattoo of a trail of different types of animal prints going up her neck. She can summon, talk, and turn to animals.

"May I pet him? Please?" She begged.

"Sure." I nodded to Fidget who ran to her, accepting her to pet him.

"Do you know what Fidget says about you?" Animalia asked me.

"Yeah, sure."

Animalia started to whisper to Fidget in a strange language. I envy her power a bit, she can really talk to Fidget. I wish I can at least talk to Fidget. I wonder what Fidget thinks about me, am I bad friend to him?

After they stopped talking, Fidget ran back to me.

"He says, "There are many wild animals that frown upon animals who travel with humans as pets. They say to me that I forget the wild and I'm only a walking disgrace of nature. But not only because they shun humans, but they are envious of animals like us who find a human like you. Even though humans can't understand when animals speak, you always treat me as an equal, a friend and partner. And now when I see wild animals who pity me, I hold my head high as I walk next to you. So in other words, you're a great friend, that I'm proud of"."

I sat there stunned, then I looked at Fidge. "You really mean that?"

Fidget yipped and curled to sleep. What I don't get is how he learned such vocabulary. I think I should take him even more seriously now.

"Thanks, Animalia." I told her.

"Oh, call me Ani. And I so envy your friendship with your marten."

"I envy you too, on how you can talk to him like it's nothing."

I heard someone groan. "Oh, top it with the kissing up already. You're making me want to gag"

"I know it just sickening."

"Shut it Blades, you too Wolf." Aiden growled.

"Yeah," Animalia agreed. "You shouldn't talk to a new member of the Bountyhood like that."

Blades, I glared at his direction. Bloody Blades, he looks just like I saw him in the dream. He gave a cold dark aura, almost repelling even. His dark gray eyes gave an icy stare, that makes you shiver just looking at it. And he wore an evil, sly grin on his face, like he knows your darkest secrets. He wore a black tux, and a black tie with blood splatter on it, fitting. His two swords hung on the chair he was sitting on.

He swirled his glass of red wine, taking a sip. "She doesn't deserve to be in the Bountyhood, she doesn't even deserve to be a bounty hunter."

Hold your tongue, I kept on reminding myself. Don't back talk, at least not at the moment. I think I know why my friend would rather die than let the Big Five talk to her like that. And with the short temper of mine, I'm one criticism away from sound blasting him off his chair.

"But it's stupid Death's fault of even having her fill the empty position of Jaguar."

Jaguar as in the Jaguar? He's a legend, becoming an assassin at the age of 14. Then he became one of the Big Five at 16. Just a few days ago he died during a distant job in Europe I heard, the whole country was devastated by the loss.

"And what, you don't think she can live off the expectations of him?" Double Death asked, incredulously.

"I'm just saying I rather put of with the kid, than this newbie here." Bloody Blades took a sip of his wine.

"I'm going to side with Blades," White Wolf said.

"Of course you would, you're in love with him," Trench muttered.

"Watch yourself, or else I'll make you wet your pants." She threatened.

White Wolf, another assassin and one of the Big Five. She wore a long. strapless white dress, and is wrapped around a fur coat shawl. She was wearing heavy light blue, white make up with long mascara, and pale blue lipstick. Her partner is a huge white wolf, as big as a bear. The wolf was lying on the floor, fast asleep. She also has the power to control ice, making sense why she's called the Ice Queen.

"Not unless I make you do it first." Trench countered.

Aiden stood up. "You guys, take a chill pill. This is not cool."

"And you would know?" White Wolf challenged.

This time Aiden wanted to fight her, but Trench held him down.

"It's not worth it, man."

"Oh I thing it is. I'm all fired up!" Aiden exclaimed, grinning wickedly.

I suddenly saw his suit smoking. Then a blaze caught and started to surround itself from Aiden. But he wasn't bothered by it at all. He cracked his knuckled that were on fire.

"Well no use stopping his, I might as well join in." Trench said, with the same wicked grin as his brother.

Trench suit began to look soaked, dripping wet. Then water started to gush off of him like a waterfall. He extended his hand to show a water vortex forming on his hand.

"Well I think she is more than suitable to be one of the Bountyhood!" Double Death exclaimed.

"Maybe you're right, but you in the other hand don't deserve to be in it at all."

Double Death couldn't take in anymore and unsheathed his two swords. "You seriously want to fight right now, Blades?"

Blood Blades stood up, taking out his swords as well. "Well, if you're offering, yes, yes I will."

"When I'm done with you, they'll only call you by the bloody part!"

"Ha, as if you'll even make a scratch on me. And what is with that vile mask all of a sudden? When did you start worrying about your looks, too ugly for the paper?"

"Hey shut up!"

Animalia tried to call the five of them down. "Remember what it said in the letter, you guys? No fights, we don't want to repeat what happened last year, right?"

But that wasn't much help, they completely ignored her.

White Wolf stood up, snow started to swirl around her. Her wold shook awake and growled at the Elemental Twins, challenging them on.

"Two against one, I should suspect it like this since you guys were always so low." She smirked, looking at her partner. "Don't you think, Mauja?"

He barked in agreement.

"You ready, Wicked Witch of the West?" Trench said.

"Bring it, pants-wetter and fire hazard!"

Aiden laughed. "Oh It is on, like Donkey Kong!"

He was the first one to make the move, throwing a fireball right at White Wolf. But she blocked it with a wall of snow.

Then Trench over Aiden, laughing evilly, "Mwah ha ha ha ha!"

He summoned a huge wave, where I have no idea he got, and threw it to her. But White Wolf froze the wave just as it reached her, then it shattered to a million pieces. Then her wolf, Mauja, jumped on the table and started to chase Aiden and they ran around the room.

Back to Double Death and Bloody Blade's fight, they were circling each other, egging each other on.  Then Bloody Blades got impatient and charged, trying to strike him. But Double Death blocked, and counter strike. But he back flipped, making him jump onto another table. Double Death ran after him, striking crazily.

The whole place was in chaos. Assassins and bounty hunters began to fight one another. From little reason like accidentally spilling a drink to the other, or long feuds that started years ago. Everyone used their powers, fighting with each other.

I awkwardly sat, glued to my seat, not daring to move an inch. Animalia who sat beside me, was sipping tea looking a bit bored. I was about to ask her something, but she cut me off.

"No, I don't want to join the fight, either."

I looked at the royal family who were continuing to eat like nothing was happening. Prince Austin was cutting himself some steak, totally engrossed in eating. Queen Harper was quietly sipping her tea as she watched the streaks of blasts go across the ceiling. And King Samuel was eating his food, but then ducked just in time someone was flown towards him.

"Sorry, your highness!"

"It's okay Wind Surfer!" The king replied. "How's the wife?"

"Well, thank you, sir."

I looked at the king with my jaw dropped.

He looked at me, then his eyes widened. "Oh right, it's your first time to attend the Annual Bounty Ball. Actually, I don't know why I continue to host them, but I guess it's for the excuse for old friends to catch up and fight. It can be such a delight to see them in action, no?" He went back to eating.

"I uh-"

Prince Austin looked up from eating. "This happens every year, you'll get used to it." He moved his head before an axe landed at the middle of his head. "Sooner or later."

I did my best to ignore it, but I just couldn't. There was chaos all around me, and I could fix it. And I had enough seeing Mauja biting Aiden's ass for the 10th time this evening.

"Please excuse me your majesty." I said, bowing my head.

"Go ahead, give it your best shot. Most of the time I would stop it, but it's louder and rowdier than usual. I have a bit of a sore throat."

I got on top of the table, clearing my throat a bit.

"ENOUGH!" I exclaimed.

It cause many assassins and bounty hunters to suddenly stop. But they refocused to their battles again.

"Okay then," I muttered to myself. "Force it is."

I held out both of my arms channeling the sound waves to both of my arms. The black aura formed and started to form something on the floor. It started to rise to show huge speakers. The black aura than formed into an electrical violin with a long wire connecting to the speakers.

I'm ready to take over control. Mind control, that is.

I began to play my violin, and began a slow, peaceful piece. It calms people down, maybe even forgive each other. I saw that many of the weak began to stop fighting and hug one another. Then they sat back to their seats. But there were still maybe strong willed opponents. I began to play more faster, louder. I put words in to my music, like I was telling them to stop fighting and sit back down with my music. One by one, they slowly stopped fighting and sat down like I commanded. This time I turned the speakers to max, you can literally feel the sound waves from the speakers. I quit with making them stop fighting, I just had to put to sleep. I played another slow song that can make someone drowsy from just listening to it. Finally, even the guys from the Big Five dropped to sleep, snoring.

The speakers and my violin started to crumble and fade away. Everyone began to applaud, I couldn't help but bow down. Then I hopped off the table and sat back down.

The king stood up and raised his glass of champagne. "A toast to the Masked Musician. I worthy member of the Bountyhood, and the ability to stop even a war!"

"Here, here!" Everyone agreed and drank their glasses.

Then everyone went back to eating and talking, as if none of this fighting happened.

Aiden snorted awake. "I'm here and- Ah!" He noticed White Wolf's wold was chewing his butt.

White Wolf slowly got up and looked at her wold. "Mauja, stop chewing on that. You don't know where it's been."

The wolf whimpered but went back to his master.

Aiden went over to his still sleeping brother. He snapped his fingers and a small fire formed at the tip of his index finger. He then placed it near Trench's pants, and it started to smoke. Trench's eyes shot opened and he hopped to his feet.

"My pants! Their are on fire! Water! Water!" He screamed, then stopped. "Oh wait..."

He sprayed water on his pants, that automatically dried up. Then he glared at Aiden.

"Why the hell did you do that?"

"Liar, liar. Pants on fire! That's what you get for stealing from me, brother!"

"Why you little-" Trench began to chase Aiden who skipped around the room. Everyone chuckled as they chased each other.

Bloody Blades woke up just as Double Death was just starting to wake up too. It seems that they fell asleep while they were wrestling each other on the ground. So Double Death was right on top of Bloody Blades, pinning him to the ground.

"Get off of me, or else I will kill you," Bloody Blades growled.

"Happy to oblige." He said, trying to get up.

Bloody Blades threw Double Death off of him and got up to take his seat.

He glared at me, "You made me the laughing stock of the Bounty Ball. I'll make you pay, Masked Musician."

I glared back, "Not before I do."

"Before we get back to fighting, I would like to talk to the Bountyhood," The king said.

Automatically, the Elemental Twins appeared sitting on their seats.

"Hey, where's Dream Eater and Vanishing Act?" Trench asked.

"They left early. Dream said he wanted to take a nap and Act said he got bored and left, or really vanished." Animalia explained.

"Well this will do then. One of you will pass onto the information to the two of them, yes?" The king said.

"We'll do it," Trench and Aiden said in unison, they they looked at each other.

"Jinx!"

"Double jinx!"

"Triple jinx!"

"Oh, for the love of God, shut up!" Bloody Blades said, making them fall silent.

"Well as members of the Bountyhood, you all know your duties. We are having worldwide problems and I want you all to meet at the white palace, tomorrow at noon, so we can discuss about this matter."

To my surprise, many of them groaned.

"Can't you deal if by yourself?"

"I have better stuff to do."

"I don't wanna-"

"Enough," the kind said, banging his fist on the table, making everyone at the table silent. "You must fulfill your duties as the Bountyhood. Have you not think that I all ready tried myself with the government? This is out of power, that's why we have the Bountyhood in the first place. To do what the MAG can't."

Everyone was silent for a while, but reluctantly agreed.

After everyone finished eating, people started to leave. Some drunk of their ass, others coming here alone and leaving with someone. Many of my friends waved bye and left home. The royal family left  back to their home. And one by one, the members of the Bountyhood began to leave.

"Bye, see you tomorrow."

"What do you think it's about?"

"I'll kill you later."

"Good night everyone!"

Everyone except Double Death and me. Oh and Fidget too. Butlers and maids began cleaning up the dining room, making the both of us go to the ball room.  Fidget was sleepy and left to the hotel early, leaving us alone.

I never got the chance to look at the architectural part of the ballroom. It was grand, beautiful place. Long arches of windows, the whole place looked like it was spray painted gold. I begand to wander around the place, climbing a different flight of stairs. I knew that Double Death was silently following my behind. Finally I found the upper balcony of the building.

I looked out to see the Washington cityscape. Even though it was probably midnight, the whole city was still wide awake. Buildings lit up the whole night, cars zipped through the streets like ants. The cold, December air put a chill down my spine. Then I felt a jacket put around me, I turned that it was Double Death who took of his jacket and gave it to me.

 I smiled. "Thank you."

He looked out to the scene. "Your welcome."

"Why are you still here?"

"Why are you?"

I shook my head slightly. "It's so much to take. First time to the Bounty Ball and I found out I'm in the Bountyhood. Oh, thank you for having me become a member. But why did you do that, especially when I treated you the first time we met like that?"

"I just thought the Bountyhood needed someone fresh. Even you must have noticed everyone is bored, experienced, didn't have any adventures for a very long time. But when I first met you I thought that's what we need."

"Oh," was all I could say.

I looked back at the scenery and gave out a sigh.

"What's wrong?" Double Death asked me.

"I was hoping for some dancing tonight. But all I got were arguments and being stolen away. No real dancing at all."

"Then let me change that."

He took my hand and we began to waltz. No side talking, because they weren't needed. We just danced like I imagined what most ballroom parties did. Dance. I never went to high school meaning I never went to prom. I never got the chance to become a runner up for prom queen, never even got asked out to the dance. Instead, I spent those nights being present at deals with my dad and his business friends, serving tea and snacks to them. So I thought that this would be the closest thing to prom, for me at least. We started to slow dance, his hands on my waist and my arms around his neck. I put my head on his chest as we barely moved from out original place.

"Have you always wore a mask?" I asked with curiosity.

"No, but I've met someone who told me that your identity is as important to protect as your life."

"Really?"

"Actually I was paraphrasing."

"No it's just. After all your years of experience and all, why all of a sudden with a mask? Many people must know your identity by now."

"I think you're underestimating me, I'm one of the Five Bountyhood Hunters. I think it's pretty easy to not show your identity as the people you hunt for cower in fear and run for their lives with their backs to you."

 "You got a point there."

"So I thought sooner or later someone will see me, and that someone will escape. I might as well wear a mask and be ready when the time comes."

I said nothing, and still had my head resting on his chest. We stopped dancing, and we just stood there, hugging maybe. I straightened myself and I looked at him.

"I have to go." I suddenly said.

I didn't know why I said. I just said it like a fact.

"Oh, I see." He said. "See tomorrow?"

"Yeah."

I handed him back his jack then hopped onto the balcony wall, careful not to fall. Falling is bad, quite bad. Double Death was watching what I was going to do.

I gave him a slight wave then fell backwards. But before I hit the ground, I turned to my sound form and rode back to my hotel room.

I came back tired, my feet aching, and so sleepy. I quickly stripped out of my dress and kicked off those evil shoes and changed to some pj's. Fidget was already fast asleep on the couch. I jumped onto my bed and got under the covers. I found myself staring at the ceiling, not being able to sleep. I realized two things.

One of royalty and a one of the Big Five fought over me.

I just met my father's murderer.

_____________________________________

So while I was finish typing this, I got side tracked and surfed the web for some funny Hunger Game memes. There were ones like, I'm Peeta and I know it. If you don't happen to know it, here's how it goes:

Peeta: When I walk out the bakery, this is what I see.

Katniss: Not again.

Peeta: Katniss Everdeen is a-lookin at me.

Katniss: Please stop.

Peeta: I GOT A LOAF IN MY HAND AND I AIN'T AFRAID TO THROW IT THROW IT THROW IT

Katniss: Are you done?

Peeta: I'M PEETA AND I KNOW IT!

I just burst out laughing, tears coming out of my eyes. LMAO

There's also a Katniss version of this. Here it is:

Katniss: When I walk into a forest...

Gale: ...THIS is what I SEE!

Katniss: Gale shooting squirrels, and a-starin at me... I got an arrow in my hands and I ain't afraid to

Gale: BOW IT BOW IT BOW IT

Katniss: I'm KATNISS and I KNOW IT!

I'm reading the Hunger Games since I never finished the series. Don't kill me. But I'm already reading Mockingjay, I've going to be done with the series in 6 days. 2 days for each book, I'm super proud of my reading skills!

And at the side it a pic of Melody's dress, so beautiful right! I'm in love with that dress, I wish I can wear it to prom or something. Sigh, what an swesome dress.

Rooting for Team Peeta (Sorry Gale fans, but it's a hopeless cause),
