-This Chapter is short-

♥ "You guys are so romantic, sometimes it kills me inside." Jimin rested his cheek on his fist. "When are you planning to do this?"

♥ "I'm going to see if I could propose to him on stage. I have to talk to administration though." He said closing the box back up. The ring was quite big for someone that was just barely well off.

♥ "I see. So you're going all out." Jimin still couldn't believe that his best friend was going to get married. Hell, he wanted to get married himself. That was the reason he was doing all of this.

♥ "I wanted to ask you if you could help me pay for dinner. That's all I need from you. I want to take him out somewhere really nice." Namjoon was beaming. Jimin chuckled softly and took a sip of his wine.

♥ "Sure. Jungkook deserves it." Jimin replied and grabbed his phone so they could search for places to go.

♥ Fast forward and it's the day of Jungkook's graduation. The boy was nervously pacing the hallway trying not to bother the other soon to be graduates. Going on stage frightened him enough, and now he was supposed to be giving a speech to the class of 20XX since he was the salutatorian.

♥ Jungkook was extremely intellectual, yet it didn't seem to translate to the real world. He gripped the paper trying to rehearse what he had written down prior with Namjoon.

♥ "I... I'm standing here to-today to c-con-congratulate the c-class... I can't do this." Jungkook exclaimed in frustration. He shoved the paper into his pocket and focused on trying to stop his hands from shaking.

♥ "Angel!"

♥ "Kookie!"

♥ Two voices from down the hallway yelled, catching his attention. Jungkook felt a wave of relief wash over him as he ran over to them. He ran straight into his lover's arm. "You made it!"

♥ "I wouldn't miss it for the world." Namjoon gave Jungkook a small kiss on his cheek. Jimin held a bouquet of white flowers close to his chest as he waited his turn for a hug. Jungkook pulled away, still a bit stressed out about his speech.

♥ "I didn't expect you to come, Taehyung." Jungkook tilted his head as Jimin wrapped his arms around him.

♥ "Believe me, I didn't expect that I'd be here." Taehyung sighed and slid his hands into his pocket. Jungkook didn't pay much attention to his comment. He was taking Jimin's advice to ignore all of Taehyung's negativity.

♥ "We should probably go find some seats near the front now. I already saw a lot of people in the parking lot." Jimin sounded concerned as he pulled Taehyung's arm. Namjoon didn't want to leave, but after exchanging a few kind words he departed as well.

♥ "Jungkook, they're making us line up in the main courtyard." One of his fellow classmates said as she passed by. It was almost show time and Jungkook still hadn't been able to run through his entire speech. He felt his anxiety building.

♥ "Think of something else. Think of Joonie." Jungkook whispered to himself as his feet dragged on the floor. He lined up in alphabetical order and tried practicing again. "I'm standing here..."

♥ "Breathe... Breathe..." He repeated until he was walking up the stairs. The music was playing and the line was moving quickly, at least from Jungkook's stand point.

♥ "Jeon Jungkook." The announcer said, earning large cheers from the crowd. Most of the people knew him, in fact Jungkook didn't understand how many people he had touched with his loving personality.

♥ Jungkook took his diploma and shook the hands of his old professors. He stood on the stage next to the valedictorian. Jungkook was so in his head he didn't even realize that everyone else had gotten their diplomas and the valedictorian had said her speech. "Jk."

♥ He snapped out of it after hearing her voice. He stared into the crowd seeing his close ones towards the front. Jungkook took one more last deep breath before he laid his paper on the podium and began. "I'm standing here... I'm standing here to congratulate the class of 20XX. We've made it through all the hardships we had to face these past few years."

♥ "Personally, I had to rush through my undergrad, but look where I've ended up. Being salutatorian has taught me quite a few things. Working hard gets you places and to never stop believing in yourself. No matter the setback, always keep pushing forward." Jungkook's speech prevailed, capsulating the audience. His words were like fine wine and soon he came to his closing statements. "And with that, I leave you with one final message. You will always find beauty in the ruins as long as you don't give up hope. Let's be the change, a better future. Congratulations class of 20XX, let's go onward!!"

♥ Cheers erupted from the sea of people. Jungkook grabbed his belongings to walk off stage, but when he turned Namjoon was kneeling down on one knee. He couldn't completely process what was happening as Namjoon took out a velvet box, putting the diamond ring on display. The people gasped in surprise as Jungkook's eyes widened. "Will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me, Jeon Jungkook?"

♥ "Oh my god... Yes... Yes yes yes!!" Jungkook responded still in shock. His hands were shaking while Namjoon slid the expensive piece of jewelry onto his finger. Namjoon pulled Jungkook into a tight hug as they both cried and smiled. Jimin had his phone out recording, but Taehyung sat back in his seat unphased. He didn't exactly approve.

♥ Jungkook tried to stop his tears because it was ruining his makeup, but he was overcome with emotions. Most of all, he felt relieved. Finally having the opportunity to be able to be connected by law, Jungkook felt this sense of security. "I love you! Joonie, I love you so so so much!"

♥ "I love you way more Angel." Namjoon's words became muffled as he buried his face into the crook of Jungkook's neck for a few moments. He locked eyes with his fiancé and pressed his lips against his. The kiss lasted a minute, and it would've lasted long if Jungkook didn't pull away because shyness.

♥ Still taking in the whole experience, the couple rushed off stage to reunite with their friends, but not without everyone congratulating them on their way. "Pictures! We need pictures!"

♥ Jungkook giggled at Jimin's demands. Jimin was doing an actual photoshoot with the amount of pictures he took of them. "Can we go now Jiminie? I'm a little hungry."

♥ "Uhg fine. You'll be thanking me later when you're planning your thirtieth anniversary!" Jimin proclaimed as he trailed behind his best friend. Taehyung was still hanging back behind the three like a rain cloud. He still hadn't said anything since before the ceremony. "I'll send you the address to the restaurant."

♥ "What restaurant?" Jungkook asked, confused. Namjoon intertwined the fingers and led him to their car.

♥ "You'll see." His fiancé smiled. They got into the car and for the majority of the rest of the day Jungkook kept asking what they were going to do now as husband and husband. Namjoon's response was always the same.

♥ "We'll still do the same things, just with more love Angel." Taehyung physically felt sick having to listen to that bullshit as they walked through the grand doors.

♥ "This place is so extravagant! Are you sure we can afford all of this? You know I don't mind having something within our budget." Jungkook said as he tugged on Namjoon's arm.

♥ "This is your special day, so let me spoil you for once." Namjoon kissed his cheek as the hostess led them to their private room. Jungkook took his seat in front of Taehyung with Namjoon to his right.

♥ "Our special day." Jungkook smiled as the menus were passed out. "When did you guys have the time to plan this?"

♥ "It's been about a month in the making, but it's been 6 months since the ring was ordered." Namjoon admitted and proceeded to tell the waitress what they wanted. Jungkook nodded with content and took a few sips from his water.

♥ "So, do you have any places you want to go for your honeymoon?" Jimin asked, lifting his glass of wine, swirling the red alcohol.

♥ "Well I've always wanted to go to Japan." Jungkook said

♥ "Really? You don't have any other desires to go somewhere more lavish?" Taehyung commented to which Jungkook shot him a soft glare.

♥ "If I'm being completely honest, I would love to go to Italy. We don't have to, it can be pretty expensive." Jungkook tried to brush it off.

♥ "This is a one in a lifetime chance, I think we can splurge a little bit." Namjoon said. The dinner went as you would expect. Taehyung kept to himself until it was finally over around 11 pm. The couples walked outside.

♥ "Ah! Wait! I think I forgot my graduation cap!" Jungkook worriedly said with widened eyes.

♥ "Do you need-"

♥ "I'll help you find it." Taehyung cut Namjoon off. They exchanged an awkward glance before the two walked off to retrieve the item. The silence was loud as Jimin turned to look at Namjoon. There was definitely an elephant in the room, and that was prevalent by how far apart they stood.

♥ "It's eating you up too. Isn't it?" Jimin finally said. Namjoon shifted uncomfortably, not able to meet his gaze.

♥ "Can we not talk about this here? They could come back any minute." Namjoon said in a hushed tone.

♥ "Well then when are we going to talk about it? We never see each other and I'm pretty sure you're making it that way on purpose." Jimin crossed his arms and took a few steps closer.

♥ "There's nothing to talk about. It never happened and if you tell either one of them... I won't hold back." Namjoon leaned in closer to whisper the last sentence to him. Jimin shivered from Namjoon's choice of words.

♥ "You're joking."

♥ "Try me."

♥ Jimin's lips remained parted, stunned. At this point Namjoon was a loose cannon, more so than Taehyung. Anything he said could be used against him when the time was right.

♥ "Jungkook slow down! They wouldn't throw something like that away!" Taehyung yelled after him. Jungkook looked frantic as he ran back to their room using the stairs.

♥ "You don't know that!" Jungkook yelled back as he ran past the hostess and towards the waitress who had taken their order. "Excuse me. Sorry I think I misplaced something. I can't find my graduation cap."

♥ "Ah... Are you talking about the pink cap from room B4? I'll go get it for you." She gave him a friendly smile and shortly returned with the baby pink hat.

♥ "You were rushing for nothing." Taehyung muttered.

♥ "What is up with you today? Have you slipped back into your old ways? Jimin said you've been better, but I don't see it." Jungkook finally snapped back. He continued to walk, but stopped when he stopped hearing Taehyung footsteps behind him. Jungkook turned around to face him. "What are you doing? Come on."

♥ "I... I forgot to give you this." Taehyung sighed and handed Jungkook a small velvet box. The boy raised his eyebrow slightly, confused about what the contents were. Jungkook nervously opened the box to see a pair of earrings.

♥ "What's this for?" Jungkook asked curiously looking at the golden butterflies that clustered together. They were meant for cartilage piercings and the butterflies dangled from small golden chains.

♥ "I noticed that you had a lot of piercings when we first met and I didn't really know what to get you for your graduation, so I thought of this." Taehyung tried his best to explain.

♥ "Oh... I didn't expect you to get me something. Thanks, Tae. I'm sorry for being harsh, I know you probably don't mean everything you say." Jungkook said apologetically, still admiring the small purple jewels that gave the butterfly wings color. "We should head back."

♥ "Yeah, of course." Taehyung walked back down with him, but his heart felt heavy. He wasn't involved in the planning of the proposal and was completely blindsided by it. He wasn't angry per say, but he felt like a part of him was being ripped away.

♥ The days were blending together while Jimin scrolled through his for-you-page on Instagram. 'Can anyone be cuter?' The caption read underneath a post of Jungkook sitting on a swing in the park. He scrolled again to a post posted a week ago of Jungkook wiggling his left hand where his ring resided. Jungkook and Namjoon just seemed like the happiest couple. From afar jealousy was brewing.

♥ Taehyung opened the front door like his life was on repeat. He took his coat off and put his briefcase on the floor. Making his way up the stairs, he grabbed himself a glass of water. He didn't acknowledge Jimin sitting down on the bed waiting for him. Instead he went to brush his teeth straight away.

♥ "Where have you been all day?" Jimin asked, walking towards the bathroom where Taehyung was. He pushed open the door watching the male brush his teeth shirtless.

♥ "Work. Where else would I be?" He responded nonchalantly. Jimin nibbled on his bottom lip trying to find the right words to say. After meeting with his father today, everything just felt messed up.

♥ "Taehyung. I just want you right now. I need a distraction." Jimin said as he leaned back on the threshold of the door.

♥Taehyung looked up from the bathroom sink. He spit the toothpaste out of his mouth and in one quick motion, he wiped his mouth and dropped everything in his hand. "I thought you'd never ask."

♥ Jimin smirked as Taehyung strided towards him and kissed him hungrily. His hands were already starting to roam his boyfriend's body. Jimin let out sounds that Taehyung hadn't heard in a while. He lifted him up and took him over to the bed. Clothes fell on the floor, scattering every which way.

♥ "Hurry up." Jimin whined in Taehyung's ear while Taehyung reached into Jimin's pants and started stroking his length. Jimin closed his eyes, relaxing into the feeling of his lover's touch. Taehyung lowered himself down and left wet kisses on Jimin's chest. Some light red markings started to form.

♥ Jimin dug his nails into Taehyung's shoulders taking all of the pain filled pleasure that came with the hickeys Taehyung tattered on his chest. It had been so long since they touched each other, Jimin was rather sensitive. He stayed the first thing that was on his mind. "Joon."

♥ Taehyung froze. What did he just hear? Jimin immediately felt the mood drop, realizing what had just slipped from his mouth. He lifted his head up and looked at the other. All Jimin could see was the betrayal written on Taehyung's face. "Babe, it's not what you think."

♥ "Then what the fuck was that? Moaning another man's name? Are you kidding me?! You're screwing Namjoon of all people? For how fucking long?!" Taehyung slammed his hand on the headboard next to Jimin's face. Jimin flinched and turned his head away from the sound.

♥ "We aren't fucking." He stated and glanced over at him. Taehyung got off the bed and started to put his clothes back on. Jimin was starting to panic. He didn't know what he was supposed to do now. "Taehyung, please. We aren't! I promise."

♥ Taehyung didn't seem like he wanted to reason with him. He stormed over to their closet and pulled out the suitcase that was hiding in the corner. "Sure."

♥ "Taehyung, don't do this! Just listen!" Jimin scrambled after him and yanked him by the arm, away from the luggage. He looked at him with the coldest expression he'd ever seen.

♥ "How long ago?" Taehyung mumbled with his jaw clenched. Jimin kept looking back and forth between both of Taehyung's eyes. He didn't want to answer the question, but if he didn't it would incriminate him even more. Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be a way around it.

♥ "Three... Three weeks ago." Jimin whispered, making Taehyung scoff and shove Jimin's hands off of him.

♥ "How many times?" He reluctantly asked. Jimin looked down at the floor. There was silence, but the resentment kept bottling up. In that moment Taehyung saw it, small droplets of water dropping to the ground. He couldn't contain how furious he was. He grabbed Jimin's jaw and forced the man to look at him head on. "Are you fucking crying? God Jimin, could you be even more of a bitch right now? Answer the damn question. How many times!?"

♥ "It was only once! It was only one time..." Jimin backed up, trying to get away from Taehyung's grasp.

♥ "Are you lying to me? Because I swear to god if I find out." Taehyung threatened.

♥ "I'm not lying!" Jimin stomped his foot on the ground out of frustration as tears flooded his eyes.

♥ "Did you think about him? Did you touch yourself to the thought of him? You obviously thought about him when I touched you!" Taehyung yelled. When he was again met with silence, he started grabbing anything that belonged to him and threw it into the suitcase.

♥ "Babe, stop. It wasn't like that! I love you!"

♥ "The hell you do. You screwed me over, but the worst of all is that you screwed Jungkook over too." Taehyung smiled even though all of Jimin's actions started to set in. He could get over Jimin being lazy, he could get over Jimin being vulgar, but this was his last fucking straw.

♥ "You wouldn't."

♥ "I would. Jungkook deserves to know the truth about his unfaithful boyfriend and shitty best friend." Taehyung zipped up the bag and grabbed everything of value. He lugged it all downstairs with Jimin continuing to try and plead with him the whole time. "I expect you to be gone by the time I come back."

♥ Jimin knew he wasn't going to win this battle. He grabbed his phone and immediately dialed Namjoon's number. His calls declined the first few times and his heartbeat was in his ears as he heard the front door close. Taehyung was on the move. "What do you want?"

♥ "Namjoon... I fucked up. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Jimin cried into his phone.

♥ "What's wrong? What did you do?" Namjoon's concern started to grow. "Is Jungkook okay? How is Jungkook?"

♥ "Taehyung knows about what happened. I tried to talk to him, but he won't listen to me. He's going to tell Jungkook." Jimin tried to regulate his breathing and relayed the message without getting choked up. There was silence on the end of the phone before Jimin heard Namjoon faintly curse.

♥ "I need to go. I'll call you later." He said suddenly and ended the call. Jimin ran outside with his wallet and called himself an Uber. They all knew where Jungkook would be at the time. He wouldn't shut up about it for the past week.

♥ "Fluffy. Come here girl." Jungkook patted his knees at the fluffy white Pomeranian wagging its tail. He was working part time at an animal shelter to prepare for when he went through veterinarian school.

♥ "Jungkook-ah, you're so good at your job." His manager praised him as she picked up the dog toys that were thrown about. "But shouldn't you be getting home? I can close up."

♥ "Noona, it's not safe to close up alone. It's only 10 more minutes, I promise I can handle it. Plus, I want to tell Fluffy's owner how much of a good girl she is." Jungkook giggled and flashed her a soft smile. He looked down, wiggling his fingers so the ring on his finger sparkled.

♥ "When's the wedding?" She asked, helping the time pass.

♥ "I'm not sure yet. We just got engaged recently and we haven't had the time to talk about it. Hopefully soon, the wedding won't be that big. I honestly wouldn't even mind not having anyone at the ceremony." Jungkook leaned back in his chair thinking hard as he answered the question.

♥ "Young love at its finest. I'll be right back. I'm going to make sure all the cats are fed in the east hall." She said, to which Jungkook nodded in agreement. He played with the puppy waiting for the owner of the dog to come claim her. Fluffy had been missing for a week and the owner had just seen where she was on the website.

♥ Jungkook looked up hearing the chime of the bell on the door. Fully expecting the owner, he grabbed her collar and walked Fluffy to the lobby. "Fluffy has been an excellent girl this whole-  Taehyung?"

♥ Taehyung was panting as he walked up to Jungkook and grabbed his shoulders firmly. "Jungkook, I need to tell you something, but you have to sit down."

♥ "What's all this about? Are you in any trouble?" Jungkook asked as he took a seat on one of the open chairs. Taehyung shook his head and sat down next to him. How was he supposed to tell him? "Want to pet her? I'm waiting for the owners to come pick her up."

♥ Jungkook was hoping the puppy's presence would help calm Taehyung from whatever was going on. Taehyung looked down at the happy-go-lucky dog that mirrored Jungkook's child-like personality. Staring into the eyes of the dog and then back to Jungkook, Taehyung's throat got dry. Jungkook's smile radiated positivity, so how exactly would he take the news? "You can tell me anything, Tae."

♥ "I... I..."

♥ Namjoon parked his car in the parking lot simultaneously with Jimin arriving in his Uber. They spotted Taehyung's car across the lot and feared the worst. There was no way Taehyung hadn't told him. They both braced themselves as they ran to the front door and saw them.

♥ "No! Of course not." Jungkook said shocked as he stared at his manager with Taehyung standing by his side.

♥ "Jungkook!" Namjoon called out, making all three of them turn their heads. Taehyung subtly glared at them and it felt like the air was sucked out of Namjoon's chest as he saw Jungkook with tears in his eyes. All good things had to come to an end...right?

Wow, I can't believe it's already been more than a month since I last updated. After starting classes, I've just been caught up in everything plus I play sports so it's pretty hard to manage. For now I'll try to update monthly at the latest, but I don't see myself updating any earlier than 2.5 - 3 weeks apart. Please bear with me and I hope you continue to enjoy. I'm not sure if this chapter was of high standards, but we just gotta keep the story moving! I'll make up for the chapter being so short. Love y'all. See you soon!!! 💕
