♥ Taehyung grabbed the phone on his desk and paged his secretary. Most of the time he didn't use his brain, but for some reason that moment that Jungkook said he hadn't been in touch with his siblings made him empathize.

♥ Taehyung was an only child so personally he would kill to have siblings. He wanted someone that could be there for him like family, especially after his parents passed away. Taehyung was completely and utterly alone.

♥ "Yes Mr.Kim?" His secretary said, peeking his head into his office. Taehyung motioned for him to come closer and handed him a small folder.

♥ "Deliver that to the Wang family household." Taehyung said, pointing to the official seal on the card stock. "Oh and I have a personal matter that needs some tending to. Can you get me in touch with a private investigator by the end of the day?"

♥ "Of course sir." He compiled without questioning him. Taehyung sat back at his desk and twirled his pen. All he really wanted to do was help Jungkook, his methods were just out of the ordinary. Taehyung's actions in the past rung like rambunctious bells in Jungkook's future.

♥ There was no way that his brother was sitting at the table right across from him. He hadn't seen him in years and planned to keep it that way. Doyun glanced around at the interior of the house before his eyes stopped moving when he looked at Jungkook.

♥ "How have you been?" Jungkook asked hesitantly. Taehyung was in the kitchen making a midnight snack. He wanted to let Jungkook and his brother have a chance to speak alone before he came in and tried to socialize.

♥ "That's an odd question to ask." Doyun responded and gripped his own wrist with one of his hands. Jungkook glanced down, seeing his body language. "I'm alive aren't I?"

♥ "Doyun... I'm sorry about-" Jungkook was instantly cut off. He didn't want to hear it. Nothing Jungkook said would make anything go away. Scars don't heal, they are forever permanent.

♥ "Stop acting like you're really sorry Jungkook. Let's get back to the real reason I'm here." His younger brother said. He reached in his pocket and grabbed a pamphlet.

♥ Jungkook pulled the glossy paper closer and his eyebrows scrunched up. Memorial service. Please come to celebrate the life of Lee Soojin. She was a dedicated sister and gracious daughter. June 23 XXXX - August 19 20XX. "She's dead, Jungkook. She's been dead for a while now... You know I tried to find you when it happened 3 years ago, but you changed your name. At the time I didn't have access to intel, so I couldn't find you."

♥ "Is this a joke Doyun?" Jungkook anxiously smiled and crumbled the paper in his hand. How could she be gone? Soojin, his older sister who encouraged him and kept him safe. Nothing made sense. Why did she have to die?

♥ "I wish it was."

♥ "What... what happened to her?" Jungkook asked defeatedly. Doyun's gaze shifted and he sighed. He stared at him waiting for an answer and his next words were expected and unimaginable at the same time.

♥ "Father." Was all Doyun mumbled.

♥ "What did he-"

♥ "Same thing he did to her mother. She was trying to protect me. After you left, he was always on edge that you would speak up. Everything just got worse and she tried to help me escape while she stayed behind. If all of us left, you know he wouldn't just stand down and let us live peacefully."

♥ Jungkook was having a hard time processing. All he could really do was listen. From the time he left until now, he had tried his hardest to dissociate his trauma from the good parts of his upbringing.

♥ "I tried to stop him... but it was too late." Doyun clenched his jaw and stared into his eyes. "Have you been here the whole time?"

♥ "I live around here, yes. I'm staying with Taehyung for a short time." Jungkook responded. He felt the need to help Doyun, but he was still keeping his distance. He didn't want him to know where he lived, mostly afraid that he would still be connected to their father.

♥ "I honestly never thought that we'd have ended up in Seoul, hyung. Especially you living amongst the rich crowd." Doyun said as Taehyung came back into the room.

♥ "Beer?" Taehyung asked as he held up a couple bottles and a tray of snacks.

♥ "He's too youn-" Jungkook tried to speak, but was again cut off for the thousandth time. His brother was only 18 and he himself hated alcohol. All he was trying to do was help.

♥ "Thank you, Mr.Kim." Doyun said and cracked open the bottle. Jungkook squinted at him with uncertainty as Doyun lifted the glass to his lips and took a few sips.

♥ "Please, call me Taehyung. This isn't a formal event after all." Taehyung saw how tense Jungkook still was. Jungkook took a deep breath and grabbed Taehyung's hand. He pulled him back into the kitchen.

♥ "Can you just explain to me how you two know each other?" He began by asking his most dying question. Taehyung cleared his throat and grabbed a cracker and cheese.

♥ "Well, I found him a few days ago. Remember when we were talking that one morning about porridge?" Taehyung tilted his head with a faint smile.

♥ "You went and found my brother... because we talked... about porridge?" Jungkook was enraged, how could he not be? Taehyung was surprised to say the least. From the time he had known Jungkook, which wasn't very long but I digress, he had always known him to be grateful.

♥ "I mean I wouldn't diminish it to just that. I wanted to help you guys reconnect and rekindle your bond." Taehyung started to become defensive. His walls were rising.

♥ "Has it ever occurred to you that I would have found my brother if I really wanted to? Taehyung, you have no idea the can of worms you just opened right now." Jungkook pulled at his hair. "For heaven's sake, we barely know each other. You took me out to a few places and now you think you can meddle in my past?"

♥ "That's not why I did any of this. Namjoon told me-" Taehyung felt like he was talking to a completely different person. It was like Jungkook was split, constantly fighting between the person he was raised to be and the person he wanted to be.

♥ "So now all of this is Namjoon's fault? Absolutely not. Jimin was right about you." Jungkook blurted out the last part. He regretted it the second it slipped out of his mouth. He was angry, but still wanted to keep his morals. "I... I didn't mean to say that."

♥ "No, tell me Jungkook. What is that supposed to mean?" Taehyung balled up his fists. When he didn't get a reply he stormed off upstairs to his room. Jungkook leaned against the cabinets behind him. Killing two birds with one stone wasn't as harmless as many say. Two of his relationships had blown up in his face.

♥ "Do you have a place to stay?" Jungkook asked as he walked back into the dining room. Doyun shook his head no. "Follow me."

♥ Doyun rose from his place and trailed behind Jungkook as they walked up the stairs. "Am I even allowed up here?"

♥ "Does it even matter right now?" Jungkook forced a small grin and opened the door to the room he was staying in. He closed it after the two of them were inside.

♥ "Doyun, how did you get out?" Jungkook turned to him once they sat down on the bed. He pushed him down and got him comfortable under the covers.

♥ "When father was in Japan trying to build connections, a friend helped me escape to Thailand. It was only a year after her death and I had nowhere to run." He spoke. Jungkook pushed Doyun's hair back behind his ear.

♥ "I'm going to protect you." Jungkook whispered back. Jungkook slid into bed next to him and hugged him close. "Go to sleep, there will be a lot to do tomorrow."

♥ Doyun's soft snores engulfed the room soon enough, but Jungkook was wide awake and he knew he wouldn't be able to sleep. His mind was continuously running like a projector. Everything that he buried was coming to light and unraveling right in front of him. The next day came just as quickly as the previous one had ended.

♥ For the first time in a long while Jungkook was still in bed at 10 am. He finally got to sleep at 4 in the morning after his mind gave out due to exhaustion. Doyun was awake looking out the big window in Jungkook's room.

♥ There was a knock at the door. He slowly got off the bed and opened it ajar. Taehyung stood there a little surprised to see Doyun. With the way Jungkook was acting last night, he thought for sure that Jungkook would have kicked him out.

♥ "I made this for Jungkook, but I think it's big enough that you two could share it." Taehyung said, passing a tray of food to him. It was a stack of pancakes with whipped cream and blackberries on top. One time when they were talking, Jungkook let it slip that it was his favorite.

♥ "I'll give it to him when he wakes up. Thank you." Doyun bowed slightly as Taehyung walked away. Tonight's meeting was going to be the awkwardest event of his life. He needed to mend their relationship before then.

♥ Across the city, the other pair of roommates seemed to have broken their silence. At least one of them. Namjoon pushed his arms through the openings in his jacket. He didn't even want to be in the same room as Jimin at the moment. Though Jimin was also under the influence, he couldn't help but think that Jimin was the root of the problem. That Jimin took advantage of him.

♥ He walked down the hallway passing by the bathroom where he heard faint noises. Namjoon didn't dare question it as he went into the kitchen to warm up a quick breakfast. Jimin joined him a few minutes later.

♥ "Have a nice day at work." Jimin muttered as Namjoon made his way to the front door. He didn't acknowledge his presence at all. Jimin was losing his mind, for some reason when Namjoon ignored him, it was so bothersome. He had been in a similar situations when Taehyung was angry... even when his father was angry, but this was different.

♥ Namjoon immediately went to Taehyung's office after arriving at work. "Hey, any updates on Jungkook?"

♥ Taehyung looked above his glasses for a second before he pulled them off his face. "You'll find out when we meet later."

♥ Namjoon sighed. He nodded just accepting how this was going to be. He didn't feel like talking to Taehyung any further because the more you pushed him, the harder Taehyung resisted. He started walking out of the room. "Make sure to be on time this time."

♥ For the very first time in his college career, Jungkook missed class. He was mentally drained as he clutched the cup of coffee in his hand. Doyun was laying his head on his lap as they watched movies together.

The static on the tv was all Jungkook was trying to listen to as he held his brother in his arms close. His sister was screaming from the other room and there were loud thuds coming from the wall that separated the bedroom from the living room.

Jungkook tried to calm Doyun down by running his fingers through his hair in repetition. It always worked for him when his sister did it. "Stay strong Yun."

Soojin came back. Her lip was red with blood and she had a developing black eye. She sat down next to them and pulled them close. "You guys should go get dressed. Father's men will come to fetch you soon."

"Why aren't you coming with us?" Doyun gripped onto Soojin's wrist tightly. He didn't want to leave. Nothing made any sense at the moment.

"I'll be waiting for you when you come back, I promise. I'll even cook your favorites that Nana has in her cookbook." Soojin started tearing up. Doyun pouted and Jungkook remained emotionless.

"Let's go, Doyun." Jungkook said, getting up. He grabbed his brother's hand and dragged him to the bedroom where their clothes were. Doyun was reluctant, but put on some regular clothes. Jungkook took him into the bathroom and wiped off both of their faces.

The two waited upstairs until the men in black suits came and escorted them. Jungkook followed orders and got into the car with his brother right behind him. Soojin stood by the threshold of the door as she watched. Before Doyun could get into the car he turned back to the house and tried running.

"Noona! Noona I don't want to leave! I don't want to leave you, please!" He yelled as they grabbed him forcefully and shoved him into the car. Nothing could have prepared them for what they saw next.

♥ There was still tension in the air, but Jungkook chose to ignore it. He wanted to see his brother, just not on these terms. He wanted to see him when he, himself was finally ready to. "Hyung-"

♥ "I'm going to be home late tonight so stay here. I'll cook you some food before I go." Jungkook stated. Doyun looked up at his brother. Jungkook's eyes were blank. Like he wasn't really all there.

♥ "Mm okay." Doyun muttered in response. When the clock hit 5 Taehyung swung the front door open. The smell of chicken cooking on the stove embraced his home.

♥ "Jungkook?" Taehyung said as he walked towards the kitchen. He spotted Doyun sitting on the floor staring at the tv with contentment. He was watching some random action filled drama.

♥ "The food is almost ready, Tae. There's hot water in the kettle if you want some coffee or tea." Jungkook turned around. He was wielding a smile on his face, acting as if nothing was wrong. Taehyung nodded and sat down at the island.

♥ "Kook, during the meeting can you not mention any of this?" Taehyung asked, looking at him. Jungkook wiped his hand on his pink apron and leaned against the marble top.

♥ "I don't see why I have to tell him, but if he asks I'm going to." Jungkook said bluntly. Taehyung gulped. He wanted things to go back to the way they were. Jungkook had his guard up and by the way he talked, he could tell Jungkook trusted him less because of the limited information that came out of his mouth.

♥ "Doyun, come eat." Jungkook said, putting the plates on the counter. They ate in silence beside the small noises of their utensils scraping against the porcelain plates. The ride was more or less the same, but as soon as Jungkook walked into the company doors his world lit up.

♥ "Joonie!" Jungkook squealed. He ran up to him and squeezed him tightly in his arms. Namjoon was still guilt-ridden, but he didn't want it to affect his partner. The two put on a show trying their hardest to make sure the other didn't know what was going on. The only thing that was real was the love they had for each other.

♥ The same couldn't be said for Taehyung and Jimin who awkwardly stood next to each other. At this point, they weren't even trying to compete or even act like a couple. Their whole interaction felt transactional.

♥ Jimin glanced over at Taehyung, nevertheless he refused to look him in the eyes. When he looked at him he just saw potential. He didn't want potential, he wanted Taehyung to surprise him. If he wasn't getting what he needed, he'd have to find it elsewhere.

♥ "Let's get going." Jimin said walking away. Taehyung went after him, sliding his hands into his pockets. Namjoon and Jungkook took a few minutes to talk alone, but they caught up.

♥ It was almost identical to the previous time. Jimin handed out the papers, but now instead of sharing their answers out loud, they would give them to their partners to take home. Jimin liked the new way more, so the meeting was a lot shorter. He didn't want to spend a lot of time in a room with his toxic boyfriend, his oblivious best friend, and someone who hated him.

♥ "I'm going to head out now, you guys can stay and talk if you want." Jimin said, exhaling. He grabbed his bag and rushed out of the room. Taehyung hurried in front of him, stopping him in the hallway. "Yes?"

♥ "Are you okay?" Taehyung questioned. Jimin furrowed his eyebrows and scoffed. This was actually kind of ridiculous. Jimin tried to push passed him, but Taehyung held him back. "I'm serious. I'm worried about you Jimin, you're usually not like this."

♥ "Tae, I'm great. In fact, I'm amazing. Living with Namjoon has got me floating on air." Jimin lied and clenched his jaw in an attempt to stop his tears. Taehyung looked at him with pity and forcefully pulled him into a hug. He pushed Jimin's head into his chest and Jimin didn't even fight it anymore. He grabbed Taehyung's suit jacket and started crying softly.

♥ "I wanna come home. I'm sorry for suggesting this stupid idea." Jimin whimpered as Taehyung rubbed his back softly.

♥ "Then come home." He said. Jimin lifted his head shocked and looked at him. He stood on his tippy toes and pulled him into a sweet kiss. Being in the eye of the storm can feel calming, but that's only half of the damage that is going to be done. You still need to get to the other side.

♥ Taehyung tried his best to calm Jimin down, meanwhile, a similar situation was taking place.

♥ "Tell me everything. How have your classes been going? Are you ready to graduate?" Namjoon asked as Jungkook was straddling his lap.

♥ "School is interesting. I ran into someone from my past." He mumbled and wrapped his arms around Namjoon's neck. "Remember how I told you about... Jaehyun?"

♥ "You saw him? When?" Namjoon was taken back and tensed up at the mere thought of Jungkook's ex.

♥ "About a week ago I think."

♥ "Why didn't you tell me earlier? Has he tried to talk to you again?"

♥ "It's not like that, Joonie. I just kind of tried to forget about it." Jungkook pulled his hands back and caressed Namjoon's face. Namjoon nodded along with what his boyfriend was saying.

♥ "Angel, I think we need to end the swap. Jimin and I aren't getting along like I had hoped." Namjoon said, tracing the hollow of Jungkook's back with his fingers.

♥ "Did he do something wrong?" Jungkook was growing concerned.

♥ "We just bump heads a lot and I think it's making it harder for me to focus on work. Plus I miss your home-cooked meals and your sweet personality." Namjoon pecked his lips. Jungkook giggled. He hadn't felt this light in so long.

♥ "When we meet like this, another week feels like nothing." Jungkook rested his head on Namjoon's chest. "I just want to help Jimin."

♥ "Before you help others you need to help yourself."

♥ "I... I'll talk to Tae about suspending the swap." Jungkook said and kissed Namjoon's cheek. "So in return, can we stay like this for a while?"

♥ Namjoon hummed a yes in response. They were quiet the entire time. With each other, there was no need to use words.

♥ They went to Taehyung's car and drove back to their house. Jimin curled up in the passenger seat and fell asleep on the way, tired from the mental strain he had to put up with. Taehyung was feeling generous, he picked Jimin up and took him into the house trying not to wake him up.

♥ Doyun was still sitting on the living room couch like he hadn't moved spots this whole time. Taehyung greeted him before taking the blonde-haired boy up to their bedroom. While Jimin continued to sleep, Taehyung took the paper out of his pocket with Jimin's answers on it.

♥ "Taehyung can be very hurtful at times, but he always apologizes and gives me room to make mistakes." He read the words on the paper just loudly enough that he could hear it. "I want to live with my boyfriend. He doesn't know how hard it is living without him."

♥ Taehyung glanced down at the sleeping boy beside him. He leaned down and kissed Jimin's forehead. Maybe subconsciously, but Jimin scooted over and cuddled into Taehyung's side, which prompted Taehyung to rub his back. Was all of this really necessary? Why couldn't we have just worked it out from the start? Taehyung thought to himself.

♥ Jungkook arrived at the house after a couple of hours. Namjoon dropped him off so he could collect all his belongings and say his goodbyes. Jungkook still didn't want Namjoon to find out about his brother just yet. After all, there would be a lot of explaining to do since he hadn't told Namjoon about his siblings.

♥ "Taehyung?" Jungkook said as he walked in through the front door. Namjoon's car hummed distantly as he drove off and Jungkook closed the door. He was surprised to find all three boys sitting in the living room. Jimin and Doyun were talking about something along the lines of a bitch that tried to give Jimin a hard time at a lingerie store because he was a guy. Taehyung wasn't paying attention to the two and had his eyes fixated on the television screen. "Can we talk?"

♥ "About what?" Taehyung muttered while Jungkook approached him. He sat down next to him, turning to face Taehyung so he could start speaking.

♥ "Well I was thinking of suspending the swap. Joonie was voicing some concerns and I think we've been a little bit anxious without each other." The words slipped off Jungkook's tongue so easily, but they hurt Jimin's feelings. He was honestly fed up with Namjoon treating him like a nasty parasite when Namjoon was a willing participant that night.

♥ "Great, we're thinking the same thing. Maybe we can finish the rest of the swap after having some cool down time." Jimin suggested and inserted himself into their conversation. Jungkook nodded.

♥ "You should go back to our home and pack then. I'll start packing too." Jungkook smiled, but Jimin wasn't in the mood to reciprocate any kind-hearted feelings. Jungkook got the idea and just walked off to the guest room to get his things.

♥ When Jimin got to Namjoon and Jungkook's house, he felt spiteful. Just the sight of Namjoon was going to make him blow a fuse. Low and behold Namjoon was sitting on the love seat waiting for him. "Just my luck."

♥ "Jimin, we need to talk."

♥ "So now you want to fucking talk? News flash Namjoon, you had almost a week to clear this shit up. The swap is being shut down and I only have to wait two more hours for us to never speak again." Jimin snapped and tried walking to the room he was staying in.

♥ "You don't think it was hard for me too? Jimin, I literally have to live with the guilt that I cheated on my boyfriend. You know what was at stake." Namjoon firmly stated making Jimin turn around.

♥ "So do I! I understand all of that, but you acted as if everything was my fault. We were both drunk and I think it's shitty of you to insinuate that I wanted to fuck up your relationship or at the very least cheat on my boyfriend!" Jimin yelled down the hallway.

♥ "But I didn't-"

♥ "You didn't have to say it! Your actions said it for you!" Jimin stormed back into the living room so they were looking at each other in the face. "I knew you didn't like me from the start. You put up with me because of Jungkook and your fairytale relationship. Don't think I didn't see your gazes or whispers, you judgemental prick!"

Jimin didn't say anything and all he could do was stare at the ground. His parents' gazes were piercing. His father's, in particular. Jimin was trying to tune them both out when he heard a husky voice speak. "What did you think would happen?"

The male bit down on his bottom lip as his legs shook and his fists tightened. His body hurt and the two most influential people in his life staring at him, didn't help. "Are you not going to speak, boy?"

"I thought he was different. He seemed genuine." Jimin finally said. His father shook his head and sighed.

"Park Jimin, don't be stupid. You need to think everyone is after your money and not get wrapped up in your love affairs. Go to the hospital, I can't look at you." The man scoffed and was accompanied out of the room with his bodyguards.

There was a long pause in conversation as his mother's heels clicked on the marble floor. "You need to stop all of this nonsense Jimin. I know you seek your father's love and attention, but being gay is not the way to get it."

Jimin lifted his head and glared at her. She wouldn't even acknowledge what had just happened to him, but she was confident enough to blame it on his sexual orientation. When she left the room he fell to the floor and wrapped his arms around himself.

"Young master, your father said-"

"Get out! GET THE FUCK OUT!" Jimin screamed and grabbed a nearby vase. He propelled the porcelain forwards at the maid, frightening her as it crashed to the ground. She ran out of the room as hot tears poured down Jimin's face. He screamed until his voice became hoarse.

Why was it always my fault? I gave my life for this bullshit? I gave up my childhood to please these ungrateful people! Jimin's brain was running a mile a minute. His heart had been hit with one last final blow and that would be the beginning of the destruction.

♥ "Can you please just let me get my stuff so I can leave?" Jimin said wanting to end the fight already. He was exhausted. Namjoon nodded and let Jimin be. There was nothing he could reply with. The reason he was pushing Jimin away so hard was because he didn't want to take the blame.

♥ Back at their respective homes, everything seemed to calm down. The rest of the night was quiet. Doyun was still hidden from Namjoon. Jungkook had made a deal with Taehyung that Doyun could stay there for a day or two while he found his own place. After all, Jimin got along with him so it wasn't that big of a deal.

♥ Though the days passed, there were still chips in the pavement left behind. Namjoon and Jimin still weren't acting completely like themselves.

♥ Taehyung laid back in bed after a long day. He had reluctantly put on his pajamas and brushed his teeth. The male was falling into a deep sleep when he felt two hands caress his thighs. Taehyung opened his eyes, peeking through the darkness he saw Jimin hovering above him. "What are you doing?"

♥ "The usual." Jimin responded with a soft smirk. The boy slipped under the comforter of the bed and pulled down Taehyung's boxers. He kissed Taehyung's v-line and started to stroke his length. Moans emerged from Taehyung's mouth, but there was no physical sign of arousal. "Babe?"

♥ "I'm tired. Can we do this tomorrow?" Taehyung said, pulling his pants up, half asleep. Jimin sat down next to Taehyung on the bed and stared at the wall through the darkness. You could tell from the outside that something was wrong, but Jimin's mind was completely divided on the inside.

The warm water swirled around him as the maids on duty wiped off Jimin's body. He had been quiet ever since the screaming had stopped. The women were beginning to worry, but on the off chance that Jimin lashed out, they didn't say a word.

"Young master, you're all clean." One of them said and pulled out the bathtub stopper. The water slowly drained out with the faint sound of it spiraling down the pipes. Jimin's eyes looked dull as they wrapped him in towels and dried him. He pulled on his robe and went to his room alone.

Jimin sat down on his bed, his hair dripping slightly. It was still damp and the water made him shiver. Jimin looked down at his red wrists for a long while before he hid them under his thighs. He needed someone in that moment to offer him comfort. Someone. Just anyone. Did anyone even notice how he was feeling?

♥ "Taehyung... Do you love me?" Jimin asked. There was silence before he felt two arms wrap around him and pull him down. His head pressed against Taehyung's chest.

♥ "Yes, I love you, so stop getting in your head." Taehyung chuckled. The person who brought Jimin back to his fun, outgoing, loving self was Kim Taehyung.

♥ They had met during a time when Jimin was becoming self-destructive in the worst ways imaginable. Jimin was actively trying to ruin his father's image. If that meant sleeping with his father's employees or abusing drugs, Jimin was all over it. The original plan was for Taehyung to just be a number on his body count, but Jimin had accidentally stumbled across a gem.

♥ Let's just say Taehyung was gifted in his sexual talent, but not only that, he had been blessed with his size. How could you blame him? Jimin was obsessed with Taehyung's body until it wasn't just Taehyung's body that he wanted. He wanted Taehyung to love him. Care for him. Only have eyes for him.

♥ Their whole relationship was a coincidence. Sheer luck as Jimin liked to see it. The relationship was toxic, yes, but Jimin never thought that Taehyung would hurt him physically or abandon him. He felt secure around him, at least for the first few months into dating.

♥ "I love you too." Jimin whispered back and tried to fall asleep in his arms. Namjoon seemed to feel the same way. Jungkook was holding onto him tightly like a big teddy bear, but he couldn't bring himself to wrap his arms around the other.

♥ All he needed to do was get through another week and his blissful new beginning would come. Namjoon took a deep breath to clear his mind and closed his eyes. No one slept that night.

♥ Taehyung was worried about Jungkook and his boyfriend's obviously deteriorating mental state and at the same time Jimin was worried about his unstable relationship and what Namjoon would do. He hated the idea of Namjoon confessing because he'd lose a dear friend.

♥ Jungkook's secrets were still eating at him and Namjoon's guilt weighed on his heart. Something was going to give sooner or later.

♥ Then the day finally came. Jungkook's world had been completely destroyed in less than a month.

♥ "Joonie... is he telling the truth?" Jungkook's voice broke as he looked at him. He took a few steps towards the door in disbelief. The betrayal he felt was far greater than what he had endured in the past. This time he had hope, something no one else could have ever given him. All his dreams were slipping away from his grasp as his heart pounded in his chest.

♥ To better understand what was going on we'll have to go back to the beginning of the swap. The plan had been set into motion from then.

♥ "Go on then." Jimin said and went back to eating his food.

♥ "Okay, so I was thinking about it and..." Namjoon nervously fidgeted until he ultimately grabbed something from his suit pocket. Jimin's eyes widened already knowing what it held inside.

♥ "No fucking way! Kim Namjoon, are you serious!" Jimin yelled out ecstatically. Namjoon smiled with pride as he opened the velvet cube up to reveal the shiny silver and the big rock in the center of it. "My god is it beautiful!"

♥ "Yeah I know. I've been saving up for months to afford it. Jungkook has no idea, but I wanted to ask you if you could help me surprise him. I want to propose the day of his graduation." Namjoon explained. His smile was brighter than anything that Jimin had ever seen. He was the happiest man alive. At least in that moment.

I've been away for too long lol. I had a lot of worries writing this chapter. I had extreme writer's block and I was worried that I was digging too deep into the mental health issues of all the characters. I'm not sure what the original author had in mind for this book, but I'm trying my best to capture the emotions. Thank you all for the support and the encouragement. I hope you liked this chapter. Comment of you want to see more of anything. I'll be happy to oblige. ❤️

I'll update on August 31, 2023
