♥ Jungkook woke up early in the morning as he usually cooked Namjoon a big breakfast before he left for work. He was shocked to see that he was in the arms of someone that wasn't Namjoon, but out of everyone it was Taehyung. His heart started to beat faster and he quickly slipped out of Taehyung's embrace.
♥ The first thing that came to mind was Namjoon. What would he think of this if he ever found out? Jungkook's thoughts ran wild as he ran out of the room and down the stairs to the kitchen. He always felt safe in the kitchen, he was in control when it came to cooking and baking.
♥ Jungkook already missed how Namjoon would wake up an hour before he had to go to work just to watch him cook. He would stare at him with a loving gaze that made Jungkook's whole body tingle. All he needed to do is pretend like last night didn't happen.
♥ The fluffy haired boy started making some pancakes and homemade orange juice. He was glad that he went to the store prior because Jimin and Taehyung literally had nothing in their spice closet or refrigerator. Jungkook whipped the batter and heated the stove at the same time. The minute he laid the batter on the hot pan the radiant smell of chocolate hit him.
♥ "What's all this?" Taehyung's husky voice could be heard from the stairs. Jungkook whipped around meeting the eyes of the man he was just in bed with. The tips of his ears turned red.
♥ "Just a little breakfast. Jimin said you liked a typical American breakfast and I mean even though I don't fully believe all his words because of yesterday, who doesn't like pancakes?" Jungkook said as lively as ever.
♥ Taehyung nodded and brushed his messy hair back. He still wasn't wearing a shirt and Jungkook took a couple glances down admiring art at its finest. Jimin did brag a lot about Taehyung's body.
♥ "When do you go in for work? Namjoon usually leaves at 7 am." Jungkook turned back around to focus on the food on the stove top. Taehyung sat down at the island and rubbed his eyes sleepily.
♥ "Mmm, maybe 9." Taehyung said thinking about it. He never really looked at the time when he went in. After taking a quick shower, eating a light snack and getting some morning head, he'd just leave for work. Jungkook wasn't expecting that answer, his hand slipped and touched the pan on the stove.
♥ "Oh fudge cakes! Ow ow ow owie." Jungkook yelled out in pain as he grabbed his hand. He rushed over to the sink and put his hand under the soothing cold water. Taehyung raised an eyebrow as the other whined. Jungkook was much clumsier than he had originally perceived him to be.
♥ "Are you good?" Taehyung asked. Jungkook nodded while he turned off the water and wrapped his hand in a wet paper towel. "About last night."
♥ Taehyung said making Jungkook's flush red again. "Let's not tell Namjoon that we slept in the same bed. I need you to sleep in the guest room from now on because I don't like sharing my space."
♥ Jungkook wanted to protest at first, but stopped himself. When he really thought about it he couldn't hurt Namjoon if Namjoon didn't know what happened. Jungkook nodded and Taehyung was relieved that it didn't take a lot of convincing. He set down a plate full of food in front of Taehyung not long after he recovered from his injury.
♥ "I hope it is up to par with what you usually eat." Jungkook said, handing Taehyung a pair of silverware.
♥ "I don't usually eat anything. I have a cup of coffee and wait until lunch to actually eat." Taehyung mentioned while he cut his pancake into bite sized pieces. He ate some of it with eggs. "This looks delicious, but I don't think I'll be able to finish it all."
♥ "What?! No way! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Jimin should make you a small breakfast at the very least." Jungkook said worried as he made a plate for himself.
♥ "And that's one of the main reasons we swapped." Taehyung grabbed one last pancake before he headed upstairs to finally get ready. Rush hour was about to start and Taehyung wasn't the patient type.
♥ On Taehyung's way to work he wondered a little bit about what happened last night. Jungkook was so clingy and it was honestly a hindrance to his precious sleep. Why had no one warned him that Jungkook was this bad? The incident continued to weigh on Taehyung's mind even after he got to his office. Much to his delight Namjoon came looking for him before he had to.
♥ "Just the person I was about to call. I need to talk to you about your little boyfriend." Taehyung said. His chair squeaked as he leaned back into it. Namjoon wanted to talk about Jungkook too, but hearing that from Taehyung just made him anxious.
♥ "Why? Is Jungkook hurt? What did you do to him?!" Namjoon assumed, making Taehyung scowl at the words of the other person in the room.
♥ "I did jack shit to him. For fuck's sake, calm the down. I just had a couple of questions." Taehyung remarked already irritated. "Anyway, last night Jungkook started crying while saying some pretty weird things. He was talking about his dad or some shit like that. I was wondering what that was about."
♥ "I don't think you need to know anything that personal. Especially if Jungkook hasn't told you himself it's not my place." Namjoon said quite reserved.
♥ "Yeah right, if I had asked the little guy he would have broken down like a porcelain doll. Now tell me. Do you really want me to have no insight when it comes to your boyfriend? What if he starts bawling his eyes out again?" Taehyung leaned on his hand, his elbow was a perfect perpendicular with the table.
♥ Jungkook's childhood was always messed up. His father never wanted children, but his bad habit of not using a condom led to three. Jungkook and his two siblings. They were only half since he also had an even worse habit of being a womanizer. Ironically, he was supposed to be a public figure and someone the youth looked up.
♥ Jungkook's family was well off. His father was a politician, but his mother was a dancer at a club in Seoul. The two had met one day when Jungkook's father wanted to let loose and he took a liking to her. As his father said 'She was the prettiest girl there.' The next thing they knew his father promised his mother a life worthy of a princess.
♥ Life has a way of playing wicked tricks on you. The moment his mom found out she was pregnant his father turned his assault towards her. It was a miracle that Jungkook survived and his birth wasn't a happy one. He was a preemie and his father kept his existence under wraps.
♥ His mother fell hard into drugs when she found out that his father was cheating on her with multiple women. She knew that the love of her life didn't love her anymore, but stayed so her son could have a father. She was too high on drugs to realize what was actually going on behind closed doors.
♥ "His father wasn't pleasant to be around when he was growing up. Jungkook has a some issues because of the man and he has a couple night terrors a month. Just try and keep the lights on, they seem to go away after." Namjoon decided to help him. After all it was for Jungkook, it wasn't like he was helping Taehyung for no reason.
♥ "Was he the drill sergeant type?" Taehyung asked, trying to go further in depth. He was more interested in Jungkook's background the more Namjoon talked.
♥ "Something like that, yeah. Just buy him a night light or something. We have them all over the house at home." Namjoon reluctantly said. He wanted to give Taehyung only the details he needed to know.
♥ "Wow, and you would think that he would grow up to be some strong military man." Taehyung said, amused by his own thoughts. That just seemed to piss Namjoon off more.
♥ "Can you just shut the fuck up? How Jungkook turned out has nothing to do with you and your opinion of him isn't needed." Namjoon snapped. Taehyung smiled at him.
♥ "I'll let that slide since I provoked you first." Taehyung happily stated. He was pretty self aware for a self centered person. Namjoon scoffed and walked out of the room unimpressed. Taehyung didn't let him leave without saying, "He's in good hands, you worry too much."
♥ Namjoon had first met Jungkook at a homeless shelter. Jungkook was freshly out of school and was trying to find a way to get a job as quickly as possible. Namjoon volunteered and offered some business advice since he was from a major company, Park Industries. They first laid eyes on each other when Namjoon was passing out hot chocolate to the people spending the night at the center.
♥ Jungkook's eyes in that moment were something that Namjoon could never forget. He could see how raw Jungkook's emotions were and when he tried to approach, Jungkook backed away out of instinct. He hated being physically touched and for the first 3 weeks at the center he refused medical attention.
♥ After a much needed hot shower the two hit it off. Namjoon's intellect and his good manners made Jungkook gain some curiosity. He liked to figure people out and Namjoon was a puzzle. They went on walks together around the park nearby and Namjoon always made sure to buy him hot chocolate.
♥ The warmth of the drink made Jungkook feel less tense. He liked the feeling of knowing that he was being protected and his curiosity transcended into interest and then dating. After 4 months the period of Jungkook staying at the center came to an end. He had already overstayed his welcome of 3.5 months, but Namjoon had begged the staff for more time.
♥ "Would you want to move in with me?" Namjoon asked as they sat on a park bench. The cherry blossoms were in bloom all around them and the spark between them ignited the moment. Jungkook was brought to tears and buried his face into Namjoon's chest. Jungkook said yes and the rest was history.
♥ Jungkook had finished up with his daily cleaning after school. He had wiped off all the appliances and had made efforts in organizing everything around the house. He finished earlier than he thought he would and he got to watch a few episodes of Teen Titans Go. Jungkook checked the time on his watch which read 8pm. Namjoon was home now, he excitedly grabbed his phone and dialed his boyfriend's number.
♥ "Joonie! I miss you so much!"Jungkook squealed as he stared at Namjoon's face on the screen of the phone. "I know I'm using up one of my chances to talk to you, but I get so sad when I'm not around you."
♥ "I miss you more Angel. I forgot you weren't here and I looked forward to spending my time after work with you." Namjoon pouted, making Jungkook giggle. "How was your first day, Angel? Anything happen?"
♥ "No, everything was really really good. Taehyung can be a bit of a butthead, but he lets me watch tv when I want to." Jungkook said with a smile. "But Joonie, what did you eat yesterday? I forgot to prepare meals before I left."
♥ "Oh, well we ate some pizza from this really great pizza place. We'll probably get some Chinese takeout for dinner today." Namjoon admitted. Jungkook was flabbergasted.
♥ "That's not right Joonie! You deserve to have home cooked meals daily like the handsome prince that you are." Jungkook frowned.
♥ "Are you saying that because of the suit? It's new, do you like it?" Namjoon asked as he sat the phone on the counter and did a little spin.
♥ "You look very good looking Joonie. I wish I was there to see you in person." Jungkook laid down on the couch with the phone still pointing at his face.
♥ "That or you just want me to show off what's underneath the suit." Namjoon whispered to which Jungkook hid his face with his hands. He wasn't wrong. "My shy baby. I wish I was next to you. You're breathtaking even through this crappy phone screen."
♥ "Stop teasing me Joonie." Jungkook shyly mumbled through the gaps in his hand. Namjoon liked the fact that he still affected Jungkook so much even if they were a distance away.
♥ "Hey Angel..." Namjoon called for him on the other side of the screen. Jungkook slowly met his eyes. "Promise to tell me if it ever gets too much for you. Remember that even though we aren't next to each other, I'm always going to be here for you."
♥ "I pinky promise." Jungkook said beaming. "Ah, I gotta go. It looks like Taehyung just got home from work."
♥ "Mm, okay. I hope you sleep well tonight Angel." He commented before he hesitantly hung up the phone. He missed Jungkook like crazy and seeing him on the phone just made his neediness even worse.
♥ Jungkook sat his phone down and rushed over to the door to greet the 'man of the house.' Taehyung sighed to himself tiredly and when he saw Jungkook being even more energized than last night. He felt every last bit of strength leave his body.
♥ "Good evening Taehyung. How was work?" Jungkook asked as he took the other's briefcase and put it down on the table in the hallway.
♥ "Terrible, so the usual. I had to stay late because someone's incompetent ass decided that they were going to go on a vacation with their stupid wife and not let us know ahead of time. The whole meeting he was supposed to set up was disorganized." Taehyung grumbled.
♥ "Well, I'm sorry to hear that. Anything special that you want for dinner?" Jungkook asked, wanting to cheer him up. He wanted to be with Namjoon so badly it hurt, so he tried his best to distract himself with cooking.
♥ "Whatever you want. I don't have any preferences right now. Do you mind handing me the bottle of scotch on the second shelf in there?" Taehyung flopped down on the couch. Jungkook nodded and complied with his demands. It wasn't a big favor so he was happy to oblige.
♥ After he brought him the bottle in a glass, Jungkook cooked up some steak and potatoes. He wanted Taehyung to know that he could cook other things too.
♥ "Drinking on an empty stomach is bad, come eat something Taehyung." Jungkook said, placing the plate at the head of the table. He made himself a plate second, putting others first per usual.
♥ "But it sure feels great." Taehyung responded. The male wanted to be tipsy so he could feel better. It was the only other thing he could indulge in now that sex was off the table. For the second time since the swap they sat down at the dinner table and feasted.
♥ "Oh, I almost forgot. I bought you this." Taehyung said, reaching into his suit jacket. He pulled out a small butterfly night light from his inside pocket. Jungkook perked up in his seat quickly grabbing the item from Taehyung's hands.
♥ "It's so cuteee! How did you know my favorite insect is a butterfly?!" Jungkook said elated. A smile crept up on Taehyung's face.
♥ "If I knew you'd react like this I would have given it to you sooner. I just picked up the one closest to the exit." Taehyung mumbled resting his cheek in his palm. He stared at Jungkook admiring his appreciation of the small gift.
♥ "I'll put it to good use." Jungkook said, almost sounding determined.
♥ "Yeah yeah, just stay out of my room and out of my bed." Taehyung remarked as he cut into his steak. Jungkook paused at his words. His bed... Jungkook thought to himself.
♥ "And about Saturday, I found a place where we can go."
♥ "Really?! Where!? Will there be animals there!?" Jungkook was amped up. All these surprises were stirring up his childlike curiosity and Taehyung could tell. Taehyung wanted to eat his dinner in peace without a little ball of energy annoying him.
♥ "I'm not telling you. You'll find out when we get there on Saturday." Taehyung grinned as his words rolled off of his tongue. Jungkook's smile instantly turned to a frown. "Don't look at me like that."
♥ "I take it back, you are still a big butthead." Jungkook crossed his arms. Taehyung messed up his brown hair with his hand while the other still pouted.
♥ "Call me that one more time and I'll show you how a real butthead acts." Taehyung said in a joking manner. A small giggle escaped from Jungkook's mouth.
♥ "Fine, I can't wait though. I know we'll have a fun time." Jungkook was still optimistic about the outcome as he started eating his food too.
♥ "I'm afraid you're right about that." Taehyung said to himself as Jungkook hummed in delight. This was a nice change of pace for both of them. There was still arguing here and there, but it never bubbled over into vulnerable territory.
♥ Taehyung liked that he could talk through things without sex when it came to Jungkook. Up until now he didn't even know if it was possible. But as good times happen, they are always followed by a storm of misery. Saturday came faster than both of them thought, it was going to be the first time Taehyung and Jungkook went out alone.
♥ "Jungkook, you know that we are only going out on a little adventure right? You don't have to dress up like you are going out on a date." Taehyung complained from the other side of the guest bedroom door.
♥ "H-Hold on, I'm almost done!" Jungkook said, sounding like he was struggling with something.
♥ "What are you even doing in there? Fuck it, I'm coming in." Taehyung said, turning the door knob. Jungkook squealed as he turned his face away from Taehyung's view. The front piece of his zip of crop top was stuck to his hair. It hurt like hell, but he didn't want to burden Taehyung with the responsibility of taking care of him. "What are you doing?"
♥ "I... I'm stuck..." Jungkook sighed as he slowly turned around. His head was fixed in a position of leaning over his chest. Taehyung didn't even try to hide his laughter. "It's not funny Taehyung! I was trying to look nice today."
♥ "Come here." Taehyung, seeing the pout on Jungkook's face, tried his best to hold it in. He motioned for Jungkook to come closer. Taehyung leaned in fixated on the zipper. He gently held Jungkook's hair in his hand while trying to untangle it.
♥ Jungkook's heart stopped as he looked up Taehyung's sharp features. He reminded him a little bit of his boyfriend. Besides the difference in personality, they shared a similar sharp jaw, smooth lips, and eyes that you could get lost in.
♥ "Are you gonna keep drooling or are we finally ready to go?" Taehyung words snapped Jungkook out of it. He hid his flushed face as he grabbed his jacket and ran downstairs without responding. Taehyung chuckled and followed after him.
♥ When they got in the car, Taehyung's attempts to start it were useless. The car simply wouldn't budge. He angrily hit the steering wheel making Jungkook's body jerk up in his seat.
♥ "Hey it's okay Taehyung. We can always get it fixed right?" Jungkook said trying his best to diffuse the situation before it sparked something. Taehyung took a deep breath and nodded.
♥ "I can call a local mechanic, but the repairs could take hours." Taehyung was clearly frustrated as he ran his fingers back through his hair. "This is why I told Jimin to go get it fixed. He can never follow simple fucking directions."
♥ "H-Hey, um... maybe we can take the subway? Jimin can be a bit distracted at times, but we can turn this little mistake into an even better adventure." Jungkook wanted to keep his positive attitude in a time like this.
♥ "What? Hell no. I'm not getting on the dirty subway, after my high school days I vowed not to." Taehyung resisted as he got out of the car. Jungkook followed him.
♥ "Come on Taehyung, please? I ride the subway all the time, it's really not that bad." Jungkook pressed his hands together, trying with all his power to make the male agree. Taehyung held out for a while, but seeing as this was getting nowhere he finally gave up.
♥ "Fine, fine. Just be quiet." Taehyung huffed and started walking with Jungkook on the sidewalk. The subway wasn't that far from where he lived, since he was close to the city. Jungkook giddily skipped alongside him.
♥ When they finally got there it brought back memories for Taehyung. He felt his chest tighten up as Jungkook scanned his subway card and entered the station. Taehyung went along with it, keeping a level headed appearance on the outside.
♥ Taehyung loved his family when he was a kid. He still loved them now but had a deep resentment towards them for giving him a below average life. They tried their best to say the least.
♥ Taehyung's mother was constantly sick because of deadly breast cancer and her hospital bills were too much to handle. His father wasn't around as much because he was always working trying to support all three of them. Taehyung wanted to have a childhood, but he was forced to grow up quickly due to his circumstances.
♥ "Anyway, why do you ride the subway so often? I thought you had a car." Taehyung asked, confused. Jungkook nodded.
♥ "That's Namjoon's car. He drives it to work early in the morning so I take the subway as a means of transportation. Plus I used to ride it all the time after school to pass time." Jungkook ended up blurting out a little too much about his past. "Ah, sorry. I tend to ramble."
♥ "I see that." Taehyung said. Instead of continuing to stand on the transit wondering, he decided just to ask his burning question. "Why would you pass time in the subway, when you can just go home and relax?"
♥ "I..." Jungkook didn't quite know how to answer him. He took a few minutes to process it more and then made up what he thought was best. "I just liked to be outdoors when I was younger."
♥ Taehyung put a hold on his additional questions. He noticed how calculated his answer was and the expression on the younger boy's face had all sorts of discomfort written on it.
♥ "Next stop xxxxxx station." The transit speakers announced to all the cabins. Taehyung grabbed Jungkook's hand once they were stopped and walked with him out.
♥ "Hey! Wait up!" Jungkook exclaimed, trying to keep up with the other's pace. Taehyung let go once they were outside. "You still haven't told me where we're going Taehyung. Can you tell me now?"
♥ "There." Taehyung said pointing to the big glass building across the street. Jungkook's eyes lit up as he read the big bold white letters that read, 'Seoul City Aquarium.'
♥ "Oh my gosh! So you were taking me to a place with a lot of animals!" Jungkook leaped around with joy.
♥ "Whatever, just hold my hand while you're crossing the street." Taehyung teased him as the crosswalk light turned on. Jungkook was back to pouting again, but it didn't last. Once they were inside Jungkook ran away from Taehyung to look at the different species. He was incredibly interested.
♥ "Look! Loook! It's the penguins!" Jungkook's hand shook with passion as he pointed toward the exhibit. He dragged Taehyung inside with him as he admired the beautiful birds. Jungkook leaned on the glass and started to imitate the way the penguins walked around. Taehyung cracked up. He could honestly say that Jungkook was a different kind of entertainment.
♥ "Done yet?" Taehyung asked as they walked around the place for the thousandth time. He was getting tired and was starting to get hangry.
♥ "Just let me go see the fishies one more time! Pretty please!?" Jungkook said, giving him puppy dog eyes. Taehyung focused his gaze elsewhere.
♥ "First, saying fishies makes you sound like a two year old and second, just hurry up." Taehyung slid his hands into his pockets.
♥ "Nemo here I come!" Jungkook yelled as he ran down the hall. Taehyung shook his head softly and grabbed his phone. Still no words from Jimin. He was seeing his boyfriend tomorrow, but he was angry that it felt like Jimin just forgot about him. He saw Namjoon and Jungkook FaceTime and text all the time. Jimin could at least put in a little effort, but he wasn't putting that much in himself. Meanwhile at the Jeon-Kim residence.
♥ "Jimin, are you really going to make me go out by myself? The rules said we have to go somewhere on Saturdays, and even though I don't want to, at least I'm making an effort." Namjoon was annoyed. They had been bumping heads all week, but he refused to get Jungkook involved.
♥ "I have a hangover Joon, cut me some slack. Can we go later?" Jimin whined as he curled up on the couch. The fuzzy blanket was wrapped around his small frame.
♥ "It is 2 pm Jimin, it is way past time to get a move on. Now get up." Namjoon said, yanking the blanket away from him. Jimin wiggled around trying to get the warm back that he had lost.
♥ "Fuck the rules, it never says when we have to go. Let's go out at 7. Or 8... Or 9." Jimin said, pushing the time back even further. "In some ways you're worse than Tae. He left me alone, you should follow his example."
♥ "Isn't the reason we are in the mess because he doesn't leave you alone about being a lazy ass, which you very much are." Namjoon was barely able to contain his anger. Jimin had trashed the living room multiple times during the week that they were leaving together. He had to get off of a tiring shift, come home and clean up, and then nurse Jimin back to health from his drunken state.
♥ "Ugh, fucking fine. I'm up? I'm up, are you happy now Kim Namjoon?" Jimin said, sitting up on the couch. His hair stuck up in every direction and his clothes were twisted and turned around his body. He looked like a true drunk.
♥ "Get dressed already." Namjoon said. Those were his final words before he walked to the kitchen to get something to eat. He missed his home cooked meals. Namjoon swore that he could already feel the change in his body. Like he was deteriorating slowly. He mostly complained to Seokjin about Jimin.
♥ In Seokjin's words, 'it could always be worse.' What could possibly be worse than this? He was starting to see why Jimin and Taehyung's relationship on the verge of collapse. He wished that Jungkook and him didn't have to be wrapped up in this.
♥ Jimin walked to the bathroom and took a quick shower. The dick detox was hitting him hard. He usually had some kind of intimacy with Taehyung at least twice a day. One time the two went at it all day and night and Jimin had to stay on bed rest for 3 days to recover. Jimin came out feeling refreshed. He slipped on some blue jeans, a silk shirt, and some regular tennis shoes. Namjoon emerged from the confines of the kitchen.
♥ "Let's just get this over with. I'm not even sure I'll be able to last a month." Namjoon said. He was being more pessimistic from his usual self. He didn't feel the need to protect Jimin that much. He was respectful in a way that he didn't ever hit or yell at Jimin. Jimin nodded and the two walked outside to the car. Namjoon drove them to the mall. Jimin undid his seatbelt and looked at the building in front of the car.
♥ "An escape room? Really?" He said grinning slightly. Namjoon rolled his eyes as they went inside. Jimin got to choose and he chose for them to go into the dark cabin in the woods. Namjoon didn't protest, but it made him think of how Jungkook would probably cry if they did something like this.
♥ The two were given a lamp and a couple tools before they were put into a dark room. Namjoon was strategic while Jimin kind of just did whatever he wanted. Ironically, Jimin found most of the hints to unlocking the room. Around every 10 minutes some of the employees would bang on the wooden cabin doors to insight fear.
♥ "Found something!" Jimin laughed softly as he held up a compass. Namjoon grabbed it from his hand and examined it . He found some number engraved on the back of it. He used those to unlock the lock on the door.
♥ "Yes! It worked!" Namjoon said happily as he opened the final door. It was exhausting being in there for an hour and a half trying to find your way out. Jimin gave him a high five.
♥ "See, you might think I'm annoying, but I'm a good teammate." Jimin hummed, looking proud of himself. Namjoon scoffed.
♥ "You found those clues by sheer luck, don't get too cocky." Namjoon patted Jimin on the back.
♥ "That sounds like you want some more proof. You'll see how much of an asset I am Mr.Kim. Let's go again." Jimin said, pulling out his wallet. He paid the employees and picked a harder room.
♥ "Challenge accepted." Namjoon said, shaking Jimin's hand. The two smirked at each other as they both dashed towards the next door. A couple of hours later Jungkook was sighing as he walked down the street.
♥ "I wonder how Joonie is doing right now. I'm worried about his eating habits. Should I drop something off for him today?" Jungkook asked, turning to Taehyung, who was holding a few grocery bags. Jungkook wanted to make some stew for Taehyung tonight as a thank you.
♥ "You sure worry a lot for a person so tiny." Taehyung said, to which Jungkook softly hit his shoulder.
♥ "I am not tiny! I am a very average height for my age!" He whined as he held his coloring book tightly. Taehyung bought it for him after he started sulking because the restaurant that they went to didn't have any.
♥ Taehyung was enjoying his time walking around the city with Jungkook until he spotted his mental achilles. There were only a few things that made his heart ache. The all too familiar sight of the homeless population sitting on the sidewalks. He always had a place in his heart for the people that had similar struggles.
♥ There was this particular family that reminded him of himself. The mother was constantly coughing and the child was trying his hardest to soothe her from the pain. The father was doing his part in begging for kindness from strangers.
♥ "Taehyung?" Jungkook called out softly, realizing that Taehyung hadn't been listening to a word he had said in the last 20 seconds. Taehyung felt his body react on its own as he walked up to the three.
♥ "Don't tell us we have to move. We've had to move spots 4 times today and my wife isn't doing that well. We won't bother anyone." The father said. They all looked afraid of Taehyung. At that time in Taehyung's life, he probably would have been scared too if a random well dressed man approached him too.
♥ "No... I just wanted to lend a helping hand." Taehyung pulled out his wallet and handed them 5 hundred dollar bills. "Please take care of your child and get a room somewhere. The street is no place for a family."
♥ "I can't take all of this... oh my god... is this for real?" The man started to tear up. His hands started shaking and the money swayed with every tremble. He started to cry out with gratitude. "Thank you... Thank you so much young man! I don't know what I can ever do to repay you!"
♥ "No strings attached. Just make sure that at least for tonight you all are comfortable. Have a blessed night." Taehyung commented before walking back over to Jungkook. "Sorry."
♥ "No, don't apologize." Jungkook smiled to himself as they continued walking down to the subway. "I didn't know you had a soft side like that."
♥ "I have no idea what you're talking about." Taehyung said. Despite his denial, Jungkook had seen everything. Jungkook's perspective on Taehyung was slowly changing. He was an honorable man. Though he could come off as cold sometimes, he had a big heart deep down.
♥ When they got home Jungkook prepared dinner like he said he would. They ate together and watched a little tv. These days Taehyung compromised by watching a couple of cartoon episodes a day. Jungkook went upstairs once he was finished and got dressed in his pajamas. He brushed his teeth before sliding into his bed.
♥ "Night." Taehyung said from the hallway before closing the door. The nightlight automatically turned on after it got to a certain darkness. Jungkook was tired, but he couldn't sleep. He stares up at the ceiling thinking about Taehyung and the events of the day.
♥ He...He's kind of cute. Jungkook thought to himself. He felt his cheeks become hot as he slapped his face softly. What am I thinking! I'm meeting with my boyfriend tomorrow. His internal dialogue continued.
♥ Jungkook knew it was wrong, but as most people say, feelings towards others blossomed out of nowhere. It's hard to simply get over them or control them. Sometimes you have to accept them.
