A/n: Okay, so, I've decided that Mist, will not be a large factor of the story, but he will be in once in a while, because if he were gone, it'd take away some of the reader's powers.

Recap:

"I'll see you again, you damn bastards!!" You all wave goodbye to the chefs, now ready to getting your boat and navigator back.

After departing from the Sea Baratie, Luffy, Sanji, Yosaku and you were now on your way to what you learned was called Cocoyashi village. "Yosaku? We're close to Nami by now right?" you ask after you couldn't handle the dead silence on the boat. Yosaku doesn't answer, he just looks sick.

"Oh yeah!" Luffy exclaims, breaking the silence. "But we finally have a cook, so now we just need to get Nami back and then we're finally going to the Grand Line!" "Eh?! So soon?!" Sanji lets out a small smoke puff in a heart shape. "Nami-san, huh?" Sanji blushes as he starts to remember looking at you and Nami at the restaurant. "Just remembering her beauty makes me happy. And to have one of these beauties on board! How I can't wait to see Nami again!"

Yosaku's eye twitches and he finally exclaims, "You guys are too soft-minded! Don't you get it?! Minute by minute we're heading for the infamous Arlong! Big Sis's eyes were glued to Arlong's picture when she saw it! She wasn't her normal self!"

You turn and see Luffy let out a long yawn. "Well, let's have some food!" "Yeah! Sounds good!" you respond cheerfully. "Yes Y/n-chaaaaaan!!!" Yosaku deadpans, shaking his head in amazement. "Don't tell me you guys haven't heard of Arlong?!"

"Arlong? Who's that?" Sanji asks, followed Luffy. "Never heard of him." Yosaku cries again, this time standing up and explaining it hysterically. "Listen carefully! We're headed to Arlong Park, an area ruled by Arlong, a fishman pirate that once fought along side the Seven Warlord Jinbe! In terms of strength, he's much stronger than Don Krieg!!" Luffy grabs a pen and pad, holding up a drawing that showed a fish with four legs. "Are fishmen like this??" You and Sanji let out a laugh, pointing at it. "A true masterpiece!"

"Can't you guys stay focused?! Alright, I'll explain from the very beginning." You sit down in between Luffy and Sanji, listening. "The reason the Grand Line is called a pirate graveyard in the first place is because of the three powers that reign over it. One of which is the Seven Warlord of the Sea."

"Seven Warlords?" Luffy tilts his head confused. "Oh I've heard of them! They're basically government authorized pirates." you interject. "What? Why would pirates get government approval?" Sanji asks. "They have to give the government a part of the treasure they steal from other pirates, to exist as warlords. Other pirates see them as "Navy Dogs," but they're really strong. For example, Mihawk is one of them."

Luffy starts to clap his feet together, with a shocked and excited look on his face. "That's awesome!! There's seven of those guys?!?! The Seven Warlords are awesome!!" Luffy starts to draw on his pad again, this time the fish has only two legs and is standing up. "Like this?" he asks. Sanji raises an eyebrow. "That's just your last picture standing up."

"Still, if he's so strong, why would Nami go after him?" you ask, wondering how she would even think to stand against someone who's said to be so strong." "She's after the bounty on his head!" Yosaku exclaims. Sanji giggles, a light blush on his cheeks. "No, who knows? Maybe Nami-san is a mermaid! Especially given how lovely she is!!" Luffy shows his pad again, with the standing fish, except now "Nami" is written on the paper, and it has hair similar to Nami's.

"Like this?" Luffy asks.

'I'll kill you!!" Sanji hisses.

You start to laugh so hard, you have tears in your eyes and are clutching your stomach in pain. "Do you guys get what I just said?!" "Yeah, there's a strong fishman! We got it!" Luffy waves it off, not seeing it as a big deal in reality. "No, you don't get it! You don't know how strong fishmen are!" "Don't worry!" you say with a small grin and shrug. "We'll see when we get there!"

Sanji stands up, and adjusts his tie. "Anyways, let's have some food."

"Yeah! Food!"

"Eh? Food?"

Sanji rolls up his sleeves, with a confident smirk on his face, then turns to you first. "What would you like, my y/n-chan~" You hum, thinking about it for am moment. "'ll have some-"

"Meat things with bone in them!!"

"Sauteed bean sprouts!!"

"Shut up!!! I asked y/n-chan not you!! Now then, what would you like my ocean princess?"

You laugh seeing them all act like this, but the smell of cigarettes was really getting to you, turning your head away, holding your nose. Sanji stopped smiling, now concerned. "What's wrong, y/n-chan?" You turn to face the male, hoping you didn't make him feel bad. "Ah, I'm sorry Sanji-san. But, could you please not smoke?" "Huh?"

"It's just, I really don't like the smell of cigarettes. It's gross to me."

"Oi! Sanji! No more smoking!" Luffy yells. Sanji was shocked. He hurt a lady. "I-I am so sorry my lovely y/n-chaaaaann!! I will forbid my smoking!!!" "W-W-Wait!!" you stutter, already starting to feel guilty. "I don't mean you have to never smoke, just not around me, please?"

Sanji was shocked, but he smiled and kissed your hand. "But of course, madameoiselle." You gave him a small nervous smile, not used to this shown of affection. "Thank you Sanji-san. Now, as for what I'd like to eat....I think I'll have Luffy's food." Luffy's jaw literally hits the deck at this. "What?!" "Yes y/n-chan~!!" and with that, Sanji ran off to the kitchen, starting to cook.

"Hey! Who said you can have my food y/n?!" Luffy yells, his stomach growling on cue. You stick out your tongue, then steal Luffy's hat, placing it on your own head. "Tell you what; get your hat back, and then you can have your meat back!" You then run off, trying to get away from Luffy. He grins, "You're on!!"

Soon enough, Luffy and you are running round and round in circles on the tiny boat. Eventually Luffy corners you to the edge of the boat. "You're mine!" He stretches his arm to reach for you, but you jump off the boat, a large water pillar forming under your feet, and moving you away from the boat. "Hey! No fair!"

You stick out your tongue, waving the hat around teasingly. "Come and get it!!"

Luffy stretches his arm out to you, aiming for you head, but you dodge, watching his arm stretch farther out. But what you don't see, is Luffy smirking. Suddenly you feel something against your back and before you can react, you find yourself flying straight for Luffy. You let out a loud scream. "NOOO!!!!!!"

Your crash into Luffy's chest, and the both of you fall over. Luffy just laughs and takes his hat off your head. "I win!!"

You roll your eyes. Then you look at your position. Your face was on Luffy's chest, and you were clutching his red vest for dear life. You scrambled to get off of him, your face burning. "S-s-sorry!!" you stutter, looking away. "Shishishi! It's alright! But now no meat for you y/n!!!"

"Awww man!! No fair!!!" You pout, and walk away. Luffy doesn't know why, but there's a small tug in his chest and he feels....sad. He just brushes it off, and goes to eat the food Sanji prepared. You cry comical tears as you watch Luffy eat all of the meat. Sanji is sad too, for he failed to "treat his ocean princess with care". "I'm so sorry y/n-chann!!" he cries, falling to his knees. "If I knew that idiot stole your food, I would've made you something!! Why don't I go in and make you something?!"

"No!" you say immediately, wanting him to relax. "That's fine, really Sanji-san. Relax. I'll be okay." Of course, it wasn't easy to lie when your stomach started to growl. You blushed in embarrassment.

Suddenly you get an idea. You let out a fake scream. "What's wrong?!" Luffy looks at you his eyes wide with shock and concern.

"Look! There's a large sea monster behind you!!"

"Where?!"

Luffy turns around, panicked. You smirk and grab Luffy's biggest and largest piece of meat. You shove the whole piece in your mouth and swallow it comically. You let out a small hiccup before you place the bone back on his plate. Luffy turns around. "I don't see the- OI!!! What?! Where did my meat go?!"

You simply shrug. Making sure to burp a few times. "Don't know. Maybe it was the mystery creature."

"Oh yeah! That must be it."

'He actually fell for it??!!!' You deadpanned. He was fooled way too easily. Yosaku sweat drops and decided to speak up. "Um, Big Bro Luffy, Big Sis Y/n ate your meat."

"Huh?...............EH?! How could you?!"

"You left it unguarded. I simply took advantage."

"That was my meat!!!"

Yosaku clears his throat loudly. Sanji hits Luffy on the head. "Shut up!" "I hope you manage to get Big Sis Nami to join again." Yosaku adds. "We will!" Luffy says with no hesitation. "She's our navigator! She's going to the Grand Line with us."

Luffy finishes the last bits of his meat bone. All three eye the last large piece of meat. Yosaku grabs it and yanks it away. "MINE!!" all three of you yell.

"No way! You both already had one! Let me eat one too!"

"But it's mine!!" Luffy yells.

"It's the last one!!! you whine.

"Come on!"

"No! Give it back!"

"Give me!!"

Luffy and you start to chase Yosaku around the boat, fighting over the meat. The boat is rocking a little bit, as two tick marks form on Sanji's head, who is finding it to be a struggle to pour a glass of wine. "Quit rockin' the damn boat! You're gonna make me spill this fine wine!!!"

Suddenly you stop running as you notice a large shadow under the boat. "Hey guys! You see that?" You gesture to the large shadow but no one seems to be paying any attention to you. 'What is that?'

You had been at sea for quite a few days now. The five of you were sitting at the table eating. Luffy reached over on Yosaku's plate, but Yosaku stopped his arm. "Mmmmmph! Mmmmph!" He starts doing hand gestures to say; don't eat my food!'. Luffy is just staring at him with a confused look. "What is he saying?"

Yosaku deadpans, and Luffy just uses his hand to flick the food upward into his mouth. The three of you just stare at him wide-eyed. "Let go," Luffy says. Yosaku swallowed his food, and was now irritated. "I told you! That's mine!"

"Say what?! Who decided that?!"

"He put it on his own plate!!" you reason. "Of course it's his."

"Oh. Really? You should've said so!"

"And I was saving that for last too!" he exclaims sadly. "Okay, I'm sorry!" Luffy says frantically. You grab a small piece of your meat and hold your fork up to Yosaku. "Here. You can have a piece of this. Say 'ahhh'!" He does, and you pop the piece of meat into his mouth. Sanji cries comical tears. Luffy has a pouty face on.

"Yum! Thanks Big Sis Y/n!"

"Yosaku you lucky bastard! I want y/n-chan to feed me!!" You giggle and grab another piece of meat. Then sigh, at your almost empty plate. "I don't usually share, but here; open up Sanji-san!" He leans in closer to you and opens his mouth, ready to eat the meat until Luffy bites the fork first. He swallows the meat and sits back down.

"Yum! That was good!"

Sanji starts to kick Luffy on the head while you punch him.

"How dare you steal my meat from y/n-chan!!"

"That wasn't for you! If I knew you were going to do that, I would've eaten my last piece of meat myself!!"

Suddenly, there is a loud deep bellowing sound. You all quiet down. You walk over and look down at the water from the side of the boat. "I knew it....Something's down there." There are bubbles floating up to the surface, and there is a large visible shadow.

Suddenly a large cow with green spots and a gold ring on it's nose pops out. 'It's huge!!' Yosaku lets out a childish scream while Luffy just sits there eating his food. "What's that? Is that yours y/n?" Luffy asks. "Of course not!" Sanji lights another cigarette, making sure he was way away from you though. "It looks like a sea monster. Like a cow. Then again, they don't swim. Maybe it's a hippo."

Yosaku had tears of fear streaming down his cheeks. "What's something like this doing in the East Blue?! This is a Grand Line creature!" You notice him eyeing the table food. You run in front of the tabe, arms spread out. "He's after the food!" Yosaku goes to grab the table. "Hurry up and give it to him before he turns the boat over!" "No way!" you yell.

"Gum Gum Pistol!/Water Fist!" Both you and Luffy yell in unison. Luffy and you hit him directly in the facehe cow lets out a wail and falls back in the water. "Stay away from my food!" Luffy yells. "You did it! Good job Big Bro Luffy, Big Sis Y/n!" The cow comes back up, baring his teeth and mad. "Now you've made it mad!"

Luffy pulls back his fist, readying to hit the cow again, until Sanji kicks him. You make sure to back away in time. "You dumbass! Don't beat up something that's hungry for no reason! He's probably hurt or something and can't catch his own food." Sanji grabs the plate of meat and walks up to the cow. You cry comical tears as you watch your food being taken away, but you do sympathize the creature.

"What love...." Yosaku says in awe.

"Here, eat up. No need to hold back."

The cow opens his mouth, but suddenly Sanji turns 180 and kicks the cow in the face like Luffy before. "DIE YOU DAMN THING!!" "What happened to the love?!" you and Yosaku exclaim. "The damn thing tried to eat me too." Sanji growls. The cow comes back more mad than before, charging at the boat. "NO!! He's gonna sink the boat!" Luffy reels back his fist. "That jerk!"

"Get back. I'll do it." Sanji runs up the mast and jumps off, then kicks the cow in the neck. "COLLIER SHOOT!" The cow goes down, letting out a last bellow. "Damn hippo." he mutters. "Alright!" you cheer. "Now back to the food!" "You guys are crazy........" Yosaku mutters.

Suddenly, your vision is filled with a bright blue. The guys are gone, and you see nothing.

But soon, your vision comes into focus and you see Zoro's back, covered with bandages and his wrists bound by rope to his back. But what surprises you most, is the fishmen surrounding him, and Nami. You hear a loud cackling laugh, and turn to see it's one of the fishmen. He has a long sword like nose with sharp ridges. He has a yellow unbuttoned shirt on, and green shorts with a purple cloth tied to it.

'Mist?' you ask, recognizing the dolphin.

'Yeah, it's me. Been a while, but I heard from some other dolphins you were heading to Arlong Park. I am letting you see what I can see. Do you see the tattoo on her shoulder?'

You look and see it. It's the Arlong pirates symbol. You gasp.

'She's an Arlong Pirate?!'

'I guess so.'

'Well, let's keep listening.'

"This girl's like a cold-blooded witch; she'll even forget about her own parent's death for money!" Arlong cackles. Nami has a horror stricken look on her face. You notice, and Zoro does too. He raises his eyebrow at her slightly. "Just chalk it up to bad luck that you crossed her and give up."

Zoro smirks. "I see..."

The look disappears from Nami's face.

"Though, it's not like I ever trusted her to begin with." he continues. "Even if she were a homicidal maniac, I wouldn't be surprised." Nami tched. "In that case, could you get the hell out of here?! You're an eyesore!"

'That damn traitor!'

'But.........the way she reacted to what Arlong said.........'

Zoro smirks, then pushes himself off the ground, and falls into the water in front of you- er, Mist. He swims back, before you lose connection and the last thing you see, is a streak of orange charging toward the swordsman.

'What?Zoro?! Nami?!'

You let out a small whimper, clenching your fists. You can't do anything. What if they died?!

'Oi, y/n! y/n!'

You feel someone shaking you, you open your eyes and see a confused Luffy shaking your shoulders, a concerned Sanji holding your hand, and Yosaku, cleaning up some glass. "Oi! Y/n! Can you hear me?!" Luffy yells.

"Y-yeah...."

"Thank goodness! What happened y/n-chan?!"

"Eh? What do you mean?"

"You don't remember?"

~~Flashback~~

Luffy POV:

I am just about to eat my food, when I hear a loud crashing sound. I turn around and see y/n, with a broken wine glass near her feet. Her eyes are white, and she's not moving. I get up and walk over to her. "Oi, y/n!" "Mademoiselle!" Sanji cries. "You dropped your glass."

Silence. She didn't move a single bit.

"Big sis?" Yosaku walks over. I give her a pat on the shoulder, trying to laugh it off. "Shishishsi come on y/n. You're scaring me!" Still nothing. Suddenly the boat started to shake furiously. The waves are out of control, and the boat is tipping.

"It must be y/n-chan!"

I turn back to her and see that her face is scrunched up and her fists are balled up. Her fists are clenched tightly and she lets out a small whimper. "She's going to lose control! Wake her up!" Yosaku yells. I grab her shoulders and start to shake her furiously. "Oi y/n! Y/n!" Her eyes go back from white, to her usual e/c.

"Oi y/n! Can you hear me?"

~~ End Flashback~~

"Really?!" you gasped hearing this. "I'm so sorry for scaring you everyone...." Sanji shakes his head, putting out his cigarette before he gets too close to you. "It's okay my Ocean Princess~! But, what happened?" You bit your lip, wondering how you should explain this. "I saw Nami and Zoro."

"EH?! How?!" "Nami-swaaaaaaaaaaaannn~!" Luffy says his eyes lighting up at the thought that it was something cool. You sweat drop seeing his reaction. "Well, you see.....When I was younger, I made friends with a dolphin named Mist, who could talk.....And now when I run into him once in a while he helps me out."

Yosaku frowns, "But, how? It doesn't make sense!!" You let out a small sigh "Well, if I tell you guys, you have to make sure the Navy never finds out. Deal?" All three nod their heads. You take a deep breath, hoping you can trust them. "The truth is, he didn't eat a Devil Fruit."

"WHAT?!?!?!"

"EH?!"

"HOW?!"

You sigh softly as you proceed to explain it. "They ate something called the winged fruit. It's like a Devil Fruit, except it gives those who don't have the ability to speak, like Mist. If the person or thing already can talk, then that power isn't given since it's not needed."

Luffy grins. "Really?! So cool!!!"

"Yeah, it's like the opposite of a Devil Fruit though; since you don't lose the ability to swim. But it can also enhance their animals sense.Mist has speed and because he is a sea creature, he can also link his mind to mine." "Amazing...." Sanji says in awe a bit himself. "He can do this with anyone?"

"Yeah, but depending how far you are away, the connection could be strong or weaker. But yeah, that's what he just did with me. And the reason I lost control was because....." Luffy frowns, now worried since you were bringing up why you had been so upset. "Because what, Y/n?"

You are about to tell Luffy Nami's betrayal, but you don't know whether she is friend or foe. Not after what you just witnessed. 'What should I do?! Lie to Luffy, or try to tell him?!' You take a deep breath, and tell Luffy;

"Luffy, Nami is............."
