Recap:

"I gave it five punches."

"And I gave the finishing touch."

We both turn to face him. "That's it for your spear."

Don Krieg grits his teeth.

"Prepare yourself!!" we say in unison.

"N-no way........"

"The Mighty Battle Spear is broken.......what happens now?!"

The Don Krieg pirates had an uneasy feeling as they now feared the outcome of this battle. "Prepare yourself." Luffy says, making Don Krieg raise an eyebrow, but Luffy doesn't note the confusion and continues. "This is a big enough foothold. With a foothold this size, we can kick your ass."

Don Krieg's eyes starts to twitch with irritation. 'These brats really think they can defeat me?' he thought. You nod, understanding, "With your spear broken, it's just a bomb on a stick. The power is cut by half."

"A bomb on a stick?" he responds with a smirk. "So what of it? Given the shape your captain's in, it's more than enough force to blow him away." You narrow your eyes at this. "You think I'm going to let that happen?" Don Krieg lifts up the remaining spear, and prepares to attack. "Just give it up! The moment you defied me, you signed your death warrant!" "I won't die!" Luffy yells back sticking out his tongue and pulling on his eyelid in a teasing manner.

You laugh as Luffy sticks his tongue at Don Krieg. He charges at Luffy and swings the bomb on a stick down, but Luffy stretches his arms, successfully grabbing a piece of the mast. Don Krieg has seemed to lost interest in you; for now.

"Hey! I'm over here!"

Don Krieg whips his head around seeing the male and becomes irked. "That monkey!" He swings the bomb on a stick at the mast again, but Luffy doesn't lose hold as he swings a little bit. "Ooh ooh aah ah!" You can't hold it in anymore as you burst out laughing at your idiotic captain. You clutch your side as it hurts to breath now, thanks to your wound. But you stop as you see the mast start to come down. Luffy throws a piece of the mast at Don Krieg.

However before the mast can make contact, it's burnt away by what appears to be a miniature flame thrower on his arm. "That's useless!" "Just how many weapons do you have?!" you exclaim in irritation. Luffy hops off the mast and starts falling toward Don Krieg. When he is close enough, he starts moving his fists so much, it gives the illusion of multiple fists hitting Don Krieg.

"Gum Gum Gatling Gun!!"

You watch as he continues to punch Krieg's armor, but realize it has no effect, for Krieg still has that stupid smirk on his face. Luffy stops and lands on the foothold, next to you. Don Krieg lets out a laugh. "Weak! Your punches are powerless against this Steel Armor! You can't even make a dent in it!" Luffy pulls his fist back and charges at Don Krieg again.

"Gum Gum Pistol!!!"

There is a loud ringing as Luffy's fist connects with Don Krieg's armor. Don Krieg gasps in pain. 'Did it work?!' you thought, hopefully. "DON!!" the pirates exclain. Luffy holds his fist in pain from hitting the tough armor. But Don Krieg lifts his spear up with Luffy on top, and slams it down on the foothold, following an explosion. "How impudent!!"

Luffy tumbles into a piece of the galleon behind him.You run over, but not before creating a large water wall, to separate Don Krieg and you two. Don Krieg is yelling something, but it sounds muffled through the water. You hear something banging the wall, and you can only imagine Don Krieg punching it. But right now you have to focus on your captain, try to come up with some kind of plan. Before you can even check on your captain, he speaks up.

"I think I'm pretty close......"

You frown, not understanding. "Close to what?" You notice that the punches have stopped. You create a small hole through your water wall, and find that Don Krieg is gone. "Where did he go?!"

"I'm right here!!"

Above the two of you stands Don Krieg on the mast, with a smug expression that only added to your worries for what was to come next. "Now listen. The ultimate force means the strongest equipment and the strongest power!! The strong one is the one who survives. The strong one is!"

"Let's go! Y/n!"

"Yeah!"

Luffy runs up the mast, with you trailing behind him. You use the remains of your water wall and create two large fists. Luffy pulls both of his fists behind him.

"Gum Gum..."

"Water..."

"Useless! Uselss!"

Don Kreig slams the bomb on a stick in front of you and Luffy, but you both dodge it and jump out of the smoke.

"Bazooka!!"

"Fist!"

Luffy punches Krieg in the chest, and your water fist hits Don Krieg in the same place, sending him flying off the mast. Luffy on the other hand, is gasping for breath and is paralyzed 'He took the impact for me' you realize. "Luffy! You idiot!" You let out a small 'tch' but then are relieved to see the armor start to crack. At this, Don Krieg becomes temporarily flustered.

"You're finished Water Bearer! You and that anchor boy!" Sanji notices something hit the water surrounding the foothold and mass. They're bombs. "It's a trap! Get out of there Y/n-chan!!" But it's too late. You scream as the bombs go off, and grab your captain by the waist, trying to get him out of here, when you feel him start to wake up.

"Throw me!!" he yells. "E-eh?! Wha-"

"Hurry! So I can finish him!!" he demands. Reluctantly, you obey, grabbing Luffy's wrist, and wind your arm back. Then you fling him forward with all of your remaining strength. You then run back to the top of the mast, seeing Luffy heading straight for Krieg. "Gum Gum...."

His eyes widen in fear, "WHAT?!!?!"

"BAZOOKA!!!"

You cheer from below, grinning as the armor completely shatters. "Take that you bastard!!!!" The chefs start to join in. "All right!! You did it!!"

"You did it chore boy!!!"

Luffy pumps his fists in the air. "We won, y/n!!" The victory is short lived as Don Krieg is still conscious. "Don't get carried away brat!!!" Your eyes widen, "EH?! He's still alive!" A net is shot at Luffy, trapping him as he is dragged down the ocean with Krieg. And incredibly fast. Luffy has his arms and legs free. He wraps his legs around, stretching them as far as he can.

"This is gonna end it...For sure! Gum Gum..."

He spins Krieg round and round until he hurls Krieg into the front porch of the Baratie. "Giant Gavel!!"

"Thank goodness....!"

The Krieg pirates weren't so happy. "Don......Don was defeated!! Why!!" The chefs and the pirates overlap each other with their cries of victory and despair. You find yourself cheering along, happy that your idiotic captain defeated Krieg.

'He's amazing...! You were right Makino!! Luffy is- Wait a minute!!!' you start to frantically look around for any sign of Luffy. Then you realized; he was underwater. He can't swim.

"Luffy?! Luffy?! Luffy can you hear me?!?!"

Nothing. He sank so much you can't even see the net at the surface anymore. You start to panic, but without hesitation, take off your f/c boots, take a deep breath and jump off the mast, and land in the water. Sanji notices and calls out to you. "Y/n-chan!!!!"

You use the water currents to push you deeper down, trying to find Luffy through all of the pieces of Krieg's galleon. There was another splash next to you, and you see it's Sanji, giving you a nod to keep going, the two of you swimming side by side. The deeper you went, you started to lose faith. Finally though, you see Luffy still in the net, which is tangled into a piece of wood. He doesn't look like he is breathing. Sanji, is almost out of breath as he accidentally let a little out.

'What should we do?!'

Sanji tries to untangle him out of the net where the splintered wood was, but it's made of steel, only making this way harder. You start to shake Luffy by the shoulders, becoming worried. 'Hey! Hang in there! You said you wouldn't die, right?! Well prove it to me then!! Prove it to me that I made the right choice to stay!'

Seeing it was useless to untangle the bottom, you and Sanji swam to the top of the net, noticing there was an opening, as Sanji carefully pulls him out of the net. The two of you go to swim up, only for you to notice Sanji wasn't going to make it. You control the currents to push the three of you up faster, the strain causing you to start running out of breath quicker.

'Just a little more.....'

Finally the two of you reach the surface, letting out large gasps for air. "Hey! Don't you dare die on me captain!!" you yell. Sanji gently sets Luffy down as you collapse next to him. You look and see his prized straw hat next to you. You grab it, handing it to Sanji. "Please put this somewhere safe. I don't know what Luffy will do if he loses his hat."

"Yes, Y/n-chaaaaaaaaaan!!!!" he says with hearts bulging in his eyes, his tiredness instantly cured. You giggle as you watch his love hurricane go down into the restaurant. You turn to Luffy, listening to his snoring. You gently stroke his bangs. 'His hair is so soft...'

You wince as there was a sharp pang in your head, and your vision began to blur. There was the sound of muffled footsteps, followed by Sanji's voice. "Y/n-chan I put chore boy's ha- Y/n-chan!!! Hey! You damn cooks!! There's a pool of blood! Help y/n-chan!!!"

That is the last thing you hear, as your eyes roll in the back of your head and you pass out.

When you wake up, you find yourself in a room, in a bed, with something warm next to you. Correction; someone warm. Turning your head you see it's Luffy. Both of his arms are wrapped tightly around your waist. Your face turns crimson red and you start to squirm, trying to get out of Luffy's grip. But it only tightens, and Luffy snuggles his face into your lower chest. Your face turns fifty shades redder and you let out a small yelp. Sanji comes in, and you silently mouth to him 'Help me!!'He does as he kicks Luffy in the face, causing him to let go of you and wake up.

"Thank goodness......" you mutter. Luffy wakes up, a little groggy, with the band aid partly in his left nostril. He pulls it out. "Oh Y/n!" He then touches his head, realizing his hat is gone. "Ahh! My hat! My straw hat!!"

"It's right there." Sanji speaks up, gesturing to the shelf, where his hat sits. You grab Luffy's hat, and gently place it on his head. "Better?" You ask with a small smile. "Yeah! Thanks y/n! Huh? Where are those guys?"

"They left, thanks to you." Sanji says, standing in the doorway of the room, lighting a cigarette. Ghin said, 'I'll see you again in the Grand Line' and he apologizes y/n-chan." Luffy tilted his head a bit confused. "He told you that?" "It was for you!" Luffy doesn't say any more on it as he changes the subject. "Speaking of which, since I drove them away, today is y/n and my last day to do chores right?"

"Congratulations." he mutters.

"By the way, will you-"

"I'm not going! I won't become a pirate."

Luffy hums. You are surprised. 'After all that just happened, he still won't come with us??' "I'll continue to work here as a cook until I get that damn geezer to acknowledge my skills."

"...Okay, then I give up."

However, Luffy's hand is outstretched and on Sanji's collar and is tugging so it is hard for Sanji to breathe. "Your hand hasn't given up yet!!" you exclaim, getting up and managing to pry it off. Sanji continues, "I can't leave here since they're all undependable."

"But.......Don't you have a dream? Something in the Grand Line?" you ask, still wanting to find some way for him to come. Sanji nods. "Let's go now then!!" Luffy says, standing next to Sanji and you.

"It's not the right time yet." Sanji turns to face you both, and he has a huge smile on his face. He almost looks like a dreaming kid. "Say........do you know the All Blue?" You shake your head. "No, but tell us more Sanji-san!!"

"It's a miracle sea! The East Blue, West Blue, North Blue and South Blue. Fish from all those four seas live there!" Zeff was standing above the three, out of sight. "To us cooks, it's a dream-like paradise!! That's what the Grand Line is like. So have you heard....." Sanji's voice starts to fade out as Owner Zeff takes a look at Sanji. He is smiling and laughing as he talks about how great the Grand Line is, the All Blue.

There was the sound of a small bell ringing. "Guys! Meal time!" Luffy hops off the railing and the three of you head inside. When you look inside though, all the chefs are sat down, and there are no chairs left for the three of you. "Hey. Where do we sit?" Sanji asks.

"There are no chairs for you. Sit on the floor and eat." one chef says.

"How rude! You could've at least left a chair for y/n-chan!" Sanji says irritated. "It's okay Sanji-san. It can't be helped."The three of you grab trays with food and go to sit down in a corner. "They're acting kind of weird...." Luffy says to you.

"Right?" you frown looking to at the chefs. "Hmph! Nothing new..." Sanji mutters followed by something about manners towards ladies. Suddenly you hear a spoon being slammed down. It's Patty.

"Hey! Who prepared the soup this morning?!"

Sanji instantly raises his hand, a smile on his face. "I did it! Isn't it good?" Though, Patty's expression said the exact opposite. "I can't eat damn nasty soup like this! What is this, pig feed?!" Patty starts to spit, like he has some bad after taste in his mouth. You take a small sip of your soup. Your eyes light up.

'It's so good! What's Patty saying?!'

Sanji stands up at this, an angered expression now replaced with his previous. Luffy is still munching away mindlessly. "Hey, is human food not to your liking, you damn raccoon dog?" "Ha! When it's this bad, it's art now. It makes me sick to my stomach!"

This merely pisses the blonde off more. "I'm sorry, but I'm really confident about today's soup. There's something wrong with your taste buds!" You get up to comfort Sanji, until you see Carne trying the soup. Now, it could've been your imagination, but he looked like he was struggling to make a disgusted face. Then it hit you.

'They're trying to get Sanji to leave......'

You sit back down, watching how this all plays out. Carne starts to spit out the soup, like Patty before. "Ugh! This is nasty! I can't eat it!! Right guys?!"

All of them start to slam down their spoons, spitting out in disgust. Yet, you can tell it's hard for some of them.

"I can't eat something like this!"

"This is damn nasty soup! Someone, give me water!"

"What do you think you're doing you bastards?!" Sanji yells, veins popping out of his forehead. Patty and Carne stand in front of Sanji, with their arms crossed. "You're a sham Sous Chef after all. You're just an old timer."

"We're sick and tired of you settling matters with violence!"

"If the food's bad, we're gonna say so!"

Sanji looks hurt, but tries to hide it behind his anger. He grits his teeth, fist clenched.'Do they have to go this far?' You turn to see Zeff trying the soup as well. "We're seafaring cooks. Don't waste even a drop of soup." Everyone goes quiet, as Zeff has finished his entire bowl. He stands up, and smashes the bowl onto the ground, wiping his mouth with his forearm in disgust. Sanji is so pissed, he's shaking. "You damn geezer!"

Luffy is chewing on a piece of octopus. He tries to swipe at the meat on your plate, but you slap his hand back. Zeff only continues to shame Sanji's cooking. "What is this damn nasty soup? It's like sludge! If we serve something like this, our restaurant will go out of business!" Sanji walks over to Zeff, holding him by the collar of his shirt.

"DON'T BE RIDICULOUS YOU DAMN GEEZER!! JUST HOW IS THIS SOUP DIFFERENT FROM YOURS?! TELL ME!"

"From my soup?! Don't flatter yourself!!"

You gasp as Zeff punches Sanji in the face.

"Sanji-san........"

Owner punched him........"

"Not even a kick......"

Sanji sits up, clutching his left cheek. "It'll be a billion years before you can give me a lecture on cooking, brat!! I'm a man who has cooked on seas around the world!" Sanji runs out the door. 'That damn geezer!! I.....I.....' He jumps off the ledge, kicking empty air. "I'M NOT A "LITTLE BRAT" ANYMORE!!!"

The chefs are all gathered by the window, watching Sanji. You stand up, picking up the little pieces of glass left on the floor. Luffy on the other hand, is by the pot of soup. He drinks the last bit in his bowl, before letting out a long sigh. He grabs the spoon to pour more. This soup is super good you know." he says. "Luffy, they know that." you say.

"Huh?"

"Sanji-san's skills are recognized by every chef here. They were faking it."

"EH?!" Patty exclaims. "How could you tell?!"

"Your acting skills are just that bad." you add rather bluntly. "Still, did you have to go so far that Sanji-san snapped like that?" Zeff nods. "That idiot won't listen unless we go that far." Meanwhile, Sanji is outside the door, about to go in, but decides to leave. Until, he hears Zeff talking to Luffy.

"Say, kid."

Luffy stops slurping his soup. "Hm?"

"You were saying you wanted a cook for your ship, right? This isn't a favor that I'd like to ask of you or anything, but would you take that little brat with you to the Grand Line?" Sanji sits down, his back against the door. "The Grand Line......is his dream."

"Owner-san, of course we'll try to, but" you pause."Couldn't you have had guys with actual talent act your little show out?"

"What'd you say?!" Patty yells. "She has a point though, especially with you Patty!" Carne yells back.

"Your acting was horrible too!"

Sanji sticks a new cigarette in his mouth, and tries to light it, only to find that the lighter won't work. He puts his head down on his knees. "I can hear everything, you damn idiots....."

Zeff chuckles at the little bickering. "So what do you say, kid?"

Luffy's answer was, "No."

"EH?!?" everyone yells. Hearing Luffy say no, a tick mark forms on your head, and you hit Luffy on the head. "OUCH!" "What're you saying Luffy?!? We need a cook for our ship!!"

"Or are you saying he's not good enough for you?" Zeff asks. Luffy stabs a piece of his food, still eating, except now with a large lump on his head from you. "He's good enough alright. I do want him to come with me. But he says that he wants to continue working here as a cook. Even if you guys ask me to take him with me, I can't."

You deadpan. "Wow, now you take consideration of what people want?" Zeff begins to stroke his beard, after every stroke it pops back up. "So you're saying you can't agree to it until he tells you so himself huh?"

"Exactly! More please!"

Luffy holds his plate out to the chefs. You roll your eyes and grab his plate, then head to the table to get him more food. "Well......fair enough. But who knows if that twisted damn brat can just say he'll go........"

Patty shakes his head. "There's no way he can, since he's an idiot through and through."

You walk over to Luffy, now his plate full of bread and meat. "Here." You hold out the plate in front of Luffy, and he lets out a small 'shishishi' before he grabs the plate, and digs in. "Thanks, y/n!"

Outside, Sanji is smoking his cigarette until he sees something in the water. It's getting closer and he drops his cigarette when he sees it's a large shark with Yosaku in it's mouth. He screams as the shark and Yosaku fall onto Sanji, pushing all three of them through the wall.

"Sanji!" a chef yells.

"What is he? A fishman?"

"Baka!" you exclaim. "It's a person inside a shark mouth!" Luffy pops his head through the crowd of chefs, a piece of meat hanging out of his mouth. "Huh? What's going on? Oh? Hey, it's you Yosaku!" The said male looks up and lets out a sigh of relief. "Oh, Big Brother Luffy! Big Sis y/n-chan!"

"Why are you alone? Where're the others?" Luffy asks. You were still confused, since you had been passed out for everything that went down with Mihawk. Not to mention, you hadn't seen the rest of the crew either......

"Luffy, who is this guy?" you finally ask. "Hm? Oh yeah! Y/n, this is Yosaku! He's one of Zoro's friends!" Luffy explains everything to you, from Zoro's fight with Mihawk, down to how Nami took the Going Merry, and how Zoro, Johnny and Usopp went after her.

"I see........ Then please go on Yosaku." He nods. "Yeah. It's not like we didn't catch up with Big Sis Nami, but from the direction she was going, we had a pretty rough idea."

Luffy hums. "I see.......we can bring her back then." "Well......if what we're thinking is right, her destination is a crazy place.."

You tilt your head slightly. "In any case, we need your help, Big Bro Luffy. Please come with me, you too Big Sis y/n."

Luffy nods. "Okay! I don't really get it, but got it. We'll come with you." The three of you stand up, and walk outside the restaurant when you pass Sanji. "Wait!" he yells.

Luffy and you turn around. "Huh?" "We both have foolish dreams." he continues. "In order to achieve my goal, the All Blue....."

'Wait a second...!'

"Yeah, I'll come along on your journey to become "King of Pirates"! I'll be the cook for your ship." You pause, remembering that the other chefs were there watching as well. "Is that okay or not?" Luffy pumps his fist in the air. You can't help but do the same, but you go over to Sanji and give him a tight hug like before. "Yay!! Welcome aboard Sanji-san!!" Sanji has hearts dancing in his eyes.

'Looks like we got a cook!'

"You still need more?!"

Luffy and you nod. "Yeah. Give us more meat." you both say in unison.The chef sighs, as he continued to fill the bag. "Eh? I forgot you like meat, y/n!" You fake gasp as you put your hands on your cheeks. "How rude! I don't like meat! I love it! So don't expect me to share a single bit with you!!"

"Kid!" Zeff calls. "Do you wanna take this?" He holds out a beat up old notebook. It takes you a second to realize it's the log book Don Krieg was talking about. Luffy shakes his head. "Don't need it!" Zeff lets out a chuckle. "I knew it."

Luffy turns around and points to another piece of meat in the fridge. "I want that marbled meat too!"

"Enough already!" the chef hisses.

Luffy, Yosaku and you are sitting on the ship. The chefs are all outside on the front porch, waiting for Sanji. "Big Bro Cook sure is taking a long time.." Yosaku says. After another moment, Sanji appears with a small sack over his shoulder, and a small suitcase full of knives is his right hand. The chefs just stand watching him. Sanji takes the first step, until Patty and Carne charge at him.

"This is for my longstanding grudge!!"

"Be prepared Sanji!!"

Sanji does a handstand, spinning on his hands, kicking them both in the face, and they're down instantly. "There's no way you guys can defeat him." one chef adds. Sanji continues to walk, no one saying a word, until finally he reaches the boat. 'No last farewells?' you thought.

"Let's go." he says. "You don't have to say goodbye?" Luffy asks. "That's okay." he says, his bangs shadowing his expression. He has one foot on the boat, but stops when someone calls out to him. It's Zeff. You look up and see Zeff standing by the railing. "Don't catch cold."

Sanji tries to bite back his tears, but he can't hold them back anymore. You watch as the tears flow freely down his face. He turns around to face the chefs and Zeff, gets down on his knees and bows. "Owner Zeff! Thank you for all the damn things you've done for me all these years!! I'll never forget your kindness, for the rest of my life!!" Sanji lets out a small wail, and it appears Zeff can't hold in his tears either. They start to pool in the corner of his eyes, letting a single tear fall. The other chefs then burst out crying as well.

"You asshole!" Patty sobs." I'll miss you dammit!" You laugh, glad that they all would miss Sanji. "Only the manliest men part, crying." you giggle. When they finish their goodbyes, you drop the sail, and Sanji gets on the boat. "Let's go! Set sail!" Luffy orders.

Sanji, still crying, calls out to the chefs one last time. "I'll see you again, you damn bastards!!" You all wave goodbye to the chefs, now ready to getting your boat and navigator back.
