Recap; The story so far:

Y/n, known as the Navy's Weapon, and Water Bearer Y/n, with a bounty of 100 million beri. After escaping the Navy, Y/n meets the Straw Hat Crew at the Sea Baratie Restaurant, and joins the crew, becoming a member of the Straw Hats. With her brother, Roronoa Zoro, the navigator Nami, the sniper Usopp, love cook Sanji, pink dolphin Mist, and Captain Luffy, the crew sets sail for Alabasta, where they are to deliver Princess Vivi of Alabasta.

As of now, the crew has sailed onto Little Garden, where a large duel between the giants Dorry and Broggy of Elbaf is to begin. However, and unexpected intervention hits this sacred duel....

A/n: Yes ladies and gentlemen, we will now continue to move forward in this story. Enjoy this new chapter, for it's the first new one in almost two years

Mist was currently swimming at full speed for Little Garden. He'd heard about Baroque Works, and once learning of their goal to kidnap you, he couldn't leave again. Once at the island, he pops his head out of the water and instantly spots the proud flag of the Going Merry.

"Y/n!" he screams, praying you were still on board, and only becomes more worried seeing you weren't. In the distance he heard the sound of a volcano erupt. "No no no please...!" He tries to talk to you telepathically, but stops, knowing it would be pointless.

He starts to hyperventilate. He was going to run out of times, and at this point, he only had three options.

1. Wait for you to come back to the Going Merry

2. Try to talk and reason to you telepathically

3. Use the third power of the winged fruit

At the last option he grimaced, knowing it was a power you didn't even know about. Still, it was the best option... If he did it, he'd be able to see you right away, and if they were going to Alabasta, he could come with you.

'Looks like I have no choice...'

He closes his eyes, and the water around him starts to glow, and there is a quick flash of pink, before Mist, the dolphin, disappears.

The loud clang of Dorry's shield hitting Broggy's battle ax, echoes throughout the forest, shaking the trees as if they themselves were in fear. Broggy chuckles, both using all of their strength to push the other back, "Don't you long for our home, Dorry?"

"That's exactly why I'll crush you today, Broggy!" he lets out a battle cry as he shoves off Broggy's ax, pulling his shield back and raising his sword to pierce Broggy, only for the giant to jump in the air before it could happen.

He raises his ax above his head, slamming it down onto the giant, as it shatters against his metal hat. Dorry lunges forward with his head, sending Broggy flying through a large boulder that once stood in their way.

You, Karoo, and Vivi were digging your heels into the dirt, to keep from blowing back. Luffy was sat next to the three of you, watching in awe at the battle as it raged on.

On the other side, were Nami and Usopp, where Usopp was panicking, and in fear watching this. "H-he blocked it with his helmet!!" he cries. "I-If he was even an inch off he would've died instantly!!!"

Nami and Usopp watch as the giants rise from the distance. Broggy swings his ax at Dorry once more, who narrowly backs up in time as a few hairs of his long brown beard fall to the forest floor. He momentarily loses his footing before, letting out a roar and clashing his shield once more against his ax.

Broggy uses his shield to stop Dorry's incoming sword with his right hand, the two practically shaking the entire island as they were matched in strength. By now, Usopp had calmed down and watched in awe. "What a fight...Each of their attacks is a fatal blow...And they've continued this duel for 100 years?!"

"Yeah, but this is our chance to escape! Let's go!" Nami turns to walk off, however, she notices Usopp isn't following. "Usopp...?"

Another clang, and this time, the two knock each other's weapons down, slicing the trees of the forest. Usopp was at a loss for words, watching this incredible battle. "Amazing...."

'Reason? I don't remember the reason......' echoed Broggy's words from earlier. "They're fighting so seriously...even without a reason!" Nami sighs, hand on her hip as she looks up at the giants. "This is such a nuisance.." she mutters.

"You dummy!" Usopp crosses his arms over his chest, not daring to take his eyes off the battle. "This is what a man fight is! To use an analogy, a warrior's flag is flown in their hearts. This flag is more important, even then their own life. They don't want anyone else to destroy it, and so they continue this battle for 100 years to protect it! This is a real battle, of pride between two warriors!!"

They clash again, and Nami only sighs, looking away. "Whatever... Stuff like that doesn't interest me. Come on, Usopp." she says. The male still has his back turned to her, "I'm going to stay here a bit." he smiles proudly.

"This is exactly what my dream is... 'A brave warrior of the sea'! I want to become a proud warrior...Just like them!"

Nami was silent for a moment, looking at Usopp before taking a seat on the large log from earlier. "I see...So you wanna be a giant." At this, Usopp runs back to the female. "DID YOU EVEN LISTEN TO A THING I SAID?!" He hisses.

Dorry and Broggy continue to throw their ax and sword at one another, each becoming a bit weaker in each step back from the force of the blows. "I wonder... If there's a village full of warriors like them...I sure want to visit!" Usopp says, calming down from Nami's earlier comment.

Both weapons fall to the ground, piercing the forest ground, before Dorry and Broggy slam their shields into one another's faces, before Broggy weakly utters, "73,466 duels-" Dorry finishes, "73,466 draws." Finally, the two fall back, out of breath. Everyone watching the battle, including you, were at a loss for words.

It was a truly amazing duel..All was silent, before both giants let out a hearty laugh, staring up at the great sky, watching one of Little Garden's birds pass over. "Gababababa! Hey, Dorry!" Broggy says, "I have some alcohol from my guests!"

Dorry laughs and grins in response. "Gegyagya! Sounds good! I haven't had a drink in a while! Give me some!"

"Could his guests be your crewmates? He said his guests were a longed nosed man and orange haired woman!" Dorry sits down with the four of you, two barrels of alcohol in hand.

Your eyes lit up, instantly recognizing the two. "Yes! That's Nami and Usopp!" Luffy hums, "Even after they made such a big fuss about getting of the ship!" he laughs, "Maybe they do like adventures!"

"I see, then I should also thank you for this alcohol." Vivi looks up at the giant. "By the way Dorry-san, does it really take a year for the Log Pose to be stored?"

"Didn't you notice the human skulls around the area?" Dorry asks, popping the top off one of the barrels. "Those who come to the island usually die before the log is stored. Some are food for the dinosaurs, others fall victim to the heat. Some even attack us." he pauses.

"But, they all die."

Vivi grimaces looking down, with her fists balled tightly on her lap. "What are we going to do....? Even if we survive on this island for a year, I don't know what will happen to my country." you gently pat the girl on the back, feeling bad for her.

Luffy nods, tilting his head slightly. "Yeah! I'd get bored if we stayed a year here too. Is there any other way?" he asks. Dorry hums, thinking about it for a moment. "We have an Eternal Pose, but it's to our hometown Elbaf. But, it's what we're fighting for. Do you want to take it by force?"

Luffy frowns, shaking his head. "That's no good. It's not where we wanna go." You nod. "Yeah, it's pointless if we lose the route to Alabasta. We need to go to the next island."

"Why don't you move forward randomly?" Dorry suggests, "If you're lucky, you'll get there." the two were silent for a moment, before breaking out into laughter. "Maybe we'll do that!" Luffy laughs, and you can't help but snicker lightly.

However, you stop seeing Vivi's irritated expression. "Heh..Sorry Vivi..." you say quietly. Suddenly there is a loud explosion and when you look up, the alcohol in the barrel has exploded on Dorry.

"DORRY-SAN!" you and Vivi scream in horror, watching the giant fall back. "What's going on?!" Luffy yells in anger. "That alcohol was from our ship right?! So why did it explode?!"

Vivi looked in shock as the four of you gather around Dorry. "It exploded in his stomach! Maybe his opponent-" Luffy walks over to Vivi with an angered look as he grabs her shirt roughly. "What the hell are you saying?! They've been fighting for 100 years! There's no way they'd do something like that!" he snaps, scaring Vivi.

"Stop Luffy!" you manage to pry the male off her. "Look, we don't know who did-"

"You bastards....."

You whip your head around and see Dorry using his sword to help him stand. The three of you back up, facing the angered giant. "It wasn't Broggy...We're proud warriors of Elbaf!" he says in between small gasps. "Who else would it be but you?!"

Karoo quacks in fear, already begging Vivi to leave. "Let's go!" she shouts. "Right now, he won't listen to anything we say!" you shake your head, grabbing the female's wrist to stop her from running. "It's no use in running either."

Luffy takes off his hat, passing it back to you. "Y/n. Hold onto this and stay back." he says. You nod, making Vivi's eyes widen. "Don't tell me..! You're not really going to fight him are you?!"

Luffy cracks his knuckles. "I'm sorry old giant..But I need you to quiet down for a bit." Vivi watches the two, and tries to stop them."Dorry-san please listen to me! We didn't know anything about the explosives! Please don't fight in your condition!"

"No,Vivi! Let Luffy handle it!" you say trying to pull the female away from the fight. Dorry looks down at the two of you, seething in anger.

"You really pissed me off...Using a dirty trick against me!" Dorry slams down his sword near the three of you. "Move!" you yell, shoving Vivi away as Luffy just barely dodges. You gasp seeing blood trickle from Dorry's mouth. His insides were in bad shape and he was clearly in no condition to fight.

Luffy goes to attack the male in midair, but Dorry uses his shield to send Luffy flying into the ground. Luffy stretches his arms out, trying to find a tree, and once he does, goes flying and missing Dorry's attack with his sword.

Dorry cries out in pain, more blood spilling from him. Luffy grimaces, as he starts to go flying back. 'I'm sorry...' "GUM GUM ROCKET!!" he shoots right into Dorry's stomach, making the giant cry out in pain, as he drops his sword.

He was about to fall back, but in that instant, he catches himself and slams his foot down onto Luffy. Vivi gasps in horror. "LUFFY-SAN!!" she screams. She goes to run over, but you throw your arm in front of her to stop her. "Stop..." you whimper softly.

She looks over and you were biting your lip so hard, a bit of blood could be seen. She gasps softly. "Water Bearer..." Dorry pants, holding his chest in pain. "So...He has the power of a Devil Fruit...I underestimated him..." Dorry collapses on the ground, and the print where his foot once was, Luffy pops out.

He gasps a few times, trying to catch his breath. "Luffy!!" the two of you run over to the male, "Are you okay?" Vivi asks, but he is quick to dismiss the question. "How is he?"

You look up at the giant and grimace. "He's okay...." you mutter, handing him back his hat. "I'm angry!" he says, making Vivi look in surprise. "What?"

"Like he said, this wasn't from the other giant, and our friends wouldn't do such a stupid thing!" Luffy growls. You narrow your eyes, searching the large stretch of forest.

"There is someone else on this island.." you say in a low tone, holding out your hand for Luffy. He takes it, now standing. Vivi stared at the two in shock. Both of you had an angered expression, when there was a sudden eruption from the volcano.

"The volcano..!" Vivi exclaims. You gasp, your anger melting away and changing into concern for the giant.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Broggy rises, grabbing his ax. "The volcano is quite active today." Usopp stands up with the giant. "Hold on! Your wounds aren't healed from the last battle! You shouldn't go-"

"Gabababa!" he cackles with a smile. "We're both in the same condition! Making excuses during a merciless fight would spoil my name!"

Dorry gasps in pain, digging his hand into the ground as he struggles to stand. "Don't go Dorry-san!" Vivi cries. "You're seriously injured! There's no way you can fight now!!"

Dorry manages a chuckle and smiles. "I am a warrior....I will fight.. In the honor of Elbaf!!" You watch as he slowly moves, grabbing a large rock you all had seen earlier and lifting it. However, your awe goes away once he leaves it down on Luffy.

"H-hey old giant!! What're you doing?! Get this off of me!!" he shouts. You look in anger back at the giant. "Dorry-san! Take it off him no-"

'Y/n!'

You gasp, realizing it was Mist. You take a deep breath, and try to sound calm.

'Mist?! What's wrong? Did you get back okay?'

'I didn't leave! Listen to me, I'm on Little Garden and looking for you right now!'

'Wait what?! What're you talkin-'

"Water Bearer!" you are snapped out of your thoughts when you see Vivi shaking you furiously. "This isn't a duel anymore!!" Luffy screams, trying to get out from under the rock and stop Dorry. "It's been interfered with! You know that right?!"

"Silence!" he roars. "You've only been alive a mere 10 or 20 years...You wouldn't understand the words of Elbaf.." and with that, Dorry leaves.

You turn your attention to Luffy who was flailing his arms around and trying to move the rock. "Get back here and move this rock! OI!!!"

Meanwhile, on the other side, "Go get him Master Broggy!" chants Usopp, "Gabababa! Yeah! I'm gonna wipe the floor with him this time, Usopp!" he says walking to meet with Dorry. Nami sighs, watching him go. "How can he continue this pointless fighting?"

"Hey don't call it pointless you dumb ass!!" Usopp yells at Nami. "Broggy is a brave warrior of the sea, you have no right-" Nami stands up, and Usopp silences himself seeing her expression. "We need to go back to the ship. Staying here for a year isn't an option!"

She looks down at the Log Pose. "We need to gather everyone back and come up with a plan."

"Not so fast!" Usopp says, pointing to himself. "I'm absolutely useless against dinosaurs! Therefore, we cannot make it back to the ship!" Usopp starts to talk about dying in a proud sense, but Nami just zones him out.

'Looks like we'll have to go to the other giant's house where Luffy, Y/n and Vivi are....'

Nami watches Usopp fall on the ground, and grabs his bag dragging him. "Yes yes, now become a dependable warrior, Usopp, brave warrior of the sea." she mutters.

Broggy grins seeing Dorry. "Dorry!" he says happily. "How was your drink?!" Dorry grins. "It was very godly..." Broggy lets out another laugh, "Let's go!!" And so, the fight began once more, Broggy unknown to Dorry's new damage.

"What's wrong Dorry?!" Broggy taunts, seeing he was receiving the upper hand. "You seem a bit sluggish!" This, was true, but Dorry tries to play it off. "As if! I'm the same as always!!"

"Pull harder Y/n!"

"I'm trying!"

You were now trying to stretch Luffy out from under the rock, with no luck of course. It was just too heavy. You accidentally release him, as he goes flying back and hits the rock face first. But that doesn't even faze him, due to the angering burning in his eyes.

"Damn it!" Luffy slams his fist down. "Who the hell is putting a damper on their fight?!"

Vivi watched the two of you in silence. 'They don't seem like the criminals with the bounties....Why are they going so far for a giant they just met?' It's then that she notices her bird, Karoo is missing. "Eh?! Where did he go...?!"

Karoo, was currently sprinting away, from when Dorry had been mad. He panted a few times, before taking a sip of the drink Sanji prepared for him earlier.

"Oh? Isn't this the ugly bird the princess always has with her~?"

Karoo lets out a squawk, now sweating with fear as he turns around slowly. There, he saw Miss Valentine and Mr. 5. The two grin menacingly. "Don't run." Mr. 5 says gruffly. "Now that we've met out here, there's something we'd like you to do."

Suddenly, something runs past Mr. 5, and in an instant, Karoo is gone, leaving the two agents confused. A few miles away from where they were, Karoo gasps in fear, looking up at the figure that had scooped him up. "Are you okay?!" he asks.

Karoo nods. "Good! Now, do you know anyone named Y/n?" Karoo let out a gasp that sounded almost like a honk, seeing this human understood him.

"What? Hurry up and spill!!"

He eyes the figure closely. It was a boy, with light pink hair, and dark pink eyes, along with a black blazer and white with black stripped shirt. He lets out a few squawks and the male frowns, as if they were communicating.

He groans, face palming lightly. "Is this really the time for introductions?" he asks irritated. "Look it's nice to meet you two Karoo. I saved you because my friend is travelling with you." he pauses yet again.

"My name? It's Mist."
