Recap:

"Shishishi! You can look now Y/n! We're just going down." You slowly open your eyes and sigh with relief. "Thank goodness..." you mutter. Luffy grins, holding you close to him. "This is it! We're finally here! The greatest sea in the world; the Grand Line! The One Piece is up ahead, somewhere!"

The ship continues down the mountain, picking up speed. Sanji was standing on the mast, trying to see ahead through all of the clouds and rushing water. You had finally let go of Luffy, who was now sitting in his special seat, the Merry's head. Nami and Zoro were by the front railing, with Mist trailing with the ship.

There was suddenly a deep bellowing sound. Zoro's eyes widen slightly. "Did you hear that just now?" Nami shrugs it off, "Isn't it just the wind? There must be a lot of unusual landforms!" You look further up ahead, and there is a strange large shadow. "Nami-swan! I see a mountain!" Sanji says, pointing at the large "mountain".

"What?! How?!" She looks ahead in surprise. "But I thought after we passed the Twin Capes, there would just be ocean!" When the smoke clears, everyone screams in a panic. There is a large dark blue whale ahead, snout pointing in the air. "It's a big black wall!" Luffy yells. "GYAH!! It's a whale!" you screech.

The whale lets out a loud bellow, and as the ship gets closer, you notice deep long scars on it's head. "W-w-w-w-w-w-what're we going to d-d-d-d-do?!" Usopp screams, hugging onto the mast even tighter. "Should we fight it?" Luffy asks.

Nami falls back on the deck in fear, but hearing that made her stand again, "Idiot! There's no way we can fight that!" Usopp turns to you, "Y-Y-Y-Y/n! Can't you fight that thing?!" You sweat drop. "I don't think we need to-"

"Wait a sec." Zoro cuts you off, looking closely at the large mammal. "If it looks like a wall from this far, where are it's eyes?" Sanji notices this as well, calming down a bit. "You're right for once marimo! It's possible it hasn't seen us yet!"

Zoro scrambles to get up. "But unless we do something, we're going to run into it!" Nami points to the left side of the whale. "Look! There's an opening on the left! You guys! Rudder to the left!"

"THE RUDDER IS BROKEN!!!" Usopp yells to Nami, who then turns to you, "Y/N!! DO SOMETHING!!" You are getting ready to steer the ship until Luffy speaks up, "Oh yeah! I have an idea!"

Luffy runs inside the cabin, and closes the door. You go over to the railing, and try to turn the ship. Usopp, Sanji and Zoro are still trying to pull what is left of the rudder with all of their might. You manage to turn the ship just a little to the left, when there is a loud explosion and a canon is fired. The ship comes to a sudden stop, jolting the entire ship. You lose your footing and land on your butt. "Canon?!" everyone screeches in fear.

"Yosh! Did it stop?" The ship stops, but the Going Merry's head flies off, and you and Nami lay there on the deck motionless. The head flies over the two girls and lands next to them with a loud crash! Luffy turns and sees it. "AAAAAAHHHHHH!!! MY SPECIAL SEAT!"

Everyone looks up at the whale, drenched in sweat and terrified. Zoro is the first to speak up. "Let's get out of here before it's too late!" he yell whispers. The three boys start to row the ship away from the large whale, hoping and praying that they aren't caught. "Did he not notice the canon because of his large size?!"

"Or is he just slow?"

"Who knows?! Anyways, let's just get out of here!!" The whale lets out another loud bellow, shaking the whole ship and the waves. You and the rest of the crew cry out, covering your ears in pain. But you continue to row until the Going Merry has reached to where the whale's eyes is. When the whale stops, you see Luffy facing it. "You! What the hell did you do to my special seat?!"

Luffy punches the whale directly in the eye. Everyone has comical tears in their eyes, followed by Nami and you collapsing. "DUMBASS!!!" Luffy pulls back his fist and you start beating Luffy all over again. The whale's eyes looks down at the Going Merry, with Luffy sending a glare towards the whale. "How was that?! Bring it on you-"

You slap your hand over Luffy's mouth and flip him over you onto the ship. "We were so close!" The whale bellows again, only this time it opens it's mouth. The ship starts to get pulled in, along with the sea water. Luffy is standing by now, and falls over the railing.

"LUFFY!" you cry, jumping into the water, grabbing Luffy and creating a small water rope, attached to one of the teeth of the whale. "Y/n!" he says in surprise. "Y/n get back here!" Zoro yells, only for you to look back down in the water. "No! I gotta save Mist!"

Mist was getting pulled in as well. You quickly push him forward using the currents around him, and he speeds away from the whale. You go to do the same to the Going Merry, but Luffy scoops you up, climbing the whale's head. "Luffy! I gotta save the Me-"

But it's too late as the whale's mouth closes, along with the Going Merry. Luffy has finally reached the top, sitting down trying to catch his breath. He sets you down too. "What am I gonna do?! Everyone's been eaten!"

Luffy has a horror stricken look on his face. You get up and start punching the whale as hard as you can over and over again. "Hey! Spit them out! Spit them out now! Give us back our friends! Give them back! Now! Hurry up!" The whale starts to sink back in the water again. Luffy notices too and starts stomping on the whale's head.

"Hey! You heard her! Give them back! Give our friends back! We're gonna go on an adventure! They're precious to us! Give them back!"

You notice a wooden trap door on top of the whale. You stop punching the whale and walk over to it, Luffy following you. You open the door, hopping in with Luffy and closing it just before the whale is fully under the water. When you're inside there is a large passageway. "What the heck?! Why is there a passageway and a door-"

"Inside of a whale?!" You and Luffy just shrug and continue to walk down the passageway. As you get in deeper though, the whole place starts to shake. Eventually it becomes so violent that you and Luffy are literally bouncing and hitting off of walls. "What is this?! I'm getting dizzy!" Luffy yells dazed.

"Dizzy......The whole word is spinning........" You see the end of the passageway and the two of you fall out. Inside is a large canal with metal walls and a small river like thing of water. Luffy bounces off the metal walls a few times while you land in the water. Now, normally if you could see straight or at least focus, that wouldn't have been a problem for you.

But no.

You didn't have enough time to hold your breath, and you couldn't see correctly either. You felt all of your strength disappear and slowly started to sink in the water.

'No......no no no no! Help! Help me, Luffy!'

Meanwhile, Luffy was sitting on the cold metal next to the water. "Whew! Good thing I missed the water, huh, Y/n?" Luffy looks around, and sees that you're missing. "Y/n? Y/n? Y/n?!"

He looks down in the water and can very faintly see your shadow. He immediately stretches his arm down. "Y/N!!" He grabs your arm, pulling you up above the water. You're flung in the air temporarily, but he catches you, setting you gently on the ground. "Y/n! Y/n! Say something! I thought you could swim! Oi!"

He tries shaking you around a little bit, but you were still passed out from the shock of it all. Suddenly, the ground starts to tip again, and you and Luffy start sliding down. "W-w-w-what the heck is this?! Oh Y/n!"

He stretches his arm out, grabbing you and pulling you to his chest. But he can't prevent the two of you from sliding down and disappearing into the darkness. There is a voice, echoing through the metal tunnel, a male's. "Okay. We've succeeded in infiltrating this far. Listen, Miss Wednesday."

There was a man with orange hair and a green suit, followed by the number "9" scraggly written under his eyes. He also had a small king's crown and a large gun at hand. He was standing at a metal door, with a woman who had long blue hair in a tight high ponytail. She has a long sleeved vest with a dark and light purple striped tank top under. She also has white jean shorts and high white boots, along with a large gun like the man. "Behind that door is the stomach and that geezer is likely to be there. We must eliminate him! Everything is for the whale!"

The woman, Miss Wednesday nods. "Yes, Mr. 9. This whale is a precious sweet honey for our town!" Mr. 9, cocks the gun, "Okay, Miss Wednesday? We'll open the doors with 'Three, two, one, baby!' Don't let down your guard."

"Roger, Mr. 9! I'm ready anytime!" There is a loud, childish scream echoing the halls, coming closer, as the two flinch, tensing as they try to find where it's coming from. "I CAN'T STOP!!"

"What is that voice, Miss Wednesday?!" he cries. "I don't know, Mr. 9!"

Luffy comes charging at them, with your limp body on Luffy's back. The three of them let out a scream, as Luffy crashes into them, bursting the door open to reveal the old man and the Going Merry. The four of you start to fall for the "stomach acid."

There was the Going Merry, with everyone on the deck and safe. Usopp's eyes widen, noticing the two of you. "Huh?! Is that-" Zoro blinks a few times, recognizing the two of you. "Luffy? Y/n?"

"This isn't good Miss Wednesday! It's a sea of gastric acid below us!" the male screeches. You open your eyes, and scream when you see that you're falling, and of course, with Luffy again. "LUFFY! WHAT'D YOU DO THI-" Luffy and you along with the two weirdos crash into the water, with the crew watching.

You pop out of the water, creating stairs up the Going Merry, dragging Luffy aboard. You also have the two weirdos from before too. "Well then, wanna tell us who you are?"

Sanji has already started to hover over the woman of course. Luffy was sitting on the railing with you next to him. The whale, as you have learned from Zoro, is Laboon. And that there was an old man, Crocus, taking care of him. You notice that the waters have settled down. Nami notices this as well. "I wonder what that old man did....."

Zoro interrogates the man and woman, "Listen. We may have saved you for the time being, but like Y/n said, who are you?" Miss Wednesday was sitting next to Mr. 9. You and Zoro were standing in front of them "Mr. 9, they're pirates!" Miss Wednesday exclaims.

"I-I know, Miss Wednesday! B-but if we talk to them, t-they should understand....perhaps......"

"You thugs're still around?" you and Luffy turn around and see the old man. "Don't make me say this, yet again! I won't let you lay a finger on Laboon as long as I'm alive!"

Miss Wednesday lets out a chuckle. She stands up, weapon in hand. "Even if you say so, we can't leave." Mr. 9 stands up too. You tense a little bit, ready to fight them. "Taking down this whale is our mission: We won't let you interfere with our whale hunting this time! We'll open an air vent in his stomach! Let's go, baby!"

Mr. 9 and Miss Wednesday stand next to each other, pointing the canons above. They fire at the same time. You see Crocus jump to stop the canons but you beat him to it. "Water wall!" The canon balls hit the water wall, preventing any damage to Laboon. Crocus lands in the water below.

Miss Wednesday lets out a gasp. "Don't tell me-! You're Water Bearer Y/n!" Mr. 9 squeaks in fear. "You don't mean that Water Bearer?! The one with a 100 million bounty?!" You put your hands on your hips, raising an eyebrow at the two. "So what?"

"W- well it doesn't matter what you do! We will turn this whale into food for our town!" They continue to laugh hysterically. You're about to attack them again, when Luffy jumps up, smacking their heads together, hard. "I just........felt like hitting them." he "explains."

Crocus looks up at Luffy and the crew in surprise. The crew had gotten off the ship, and were on the island where Crocus stayed. You tied up Miss Wednesday and Mr. 9 guarding them. "I thank you for saving me, but why?" Crocus asks.

"I wasn't trying to save you. I just didn't like them." Luffy was starting to climb up in the palm tree, without a care. Crocus turns to you. "Well, I noticed Laboon's scars and could tell that he seemed to be........suffering, in a sense. And I just wanted to stop these two weirdos from hurting him."

Nami looks at the two tied up, "Now then, you two! What're you doing inside of this whale?" Crocus speaks up, "They're thugs from a nearby town. They're after whale meat. If they capture Laboon, it can feed the townspeople for about two to three years."

"Laboon?" Nami repeats. "It's his name." you say, "Laboon told Mist. He's the largest whale, called the Island Whale, which only live in the West Blue." Crocus raises an eyebrow. "Oh? Impressive. But yeah, I won't let them have him as food. There's a reason he keeps hitting himself on the Red Line, and howling towards Reverse Mountain."

Luffy stops climbing, looking back at the male. "Yes. He's a whale with a human heart. And he's been devotedly waiting for a certain pirate group for 50 long years...."

Crocus begins to tell about 50 years ago, when Laboon met that pirate group, and went as far to leave his home in the West Blue to be with them. The captain of the ship said they were going to be back in 2-3 years, after they had traveled the world. When the story was finished, you looked up at Laboon.

'For 50 years.......He's been waiting for them..................'

"So that's why he keeps hitting himself on the wall every night?" You ask, feeling bad for the whale. Crocus grimaces, looking up at the inside of Laboon. "Yeah..........Well, have your ship follow me. I'll lead you out."

And so he did. The Going Merry was sailing through the canal where you and Luffy were, along with Mr. 9 and Miss Wednesday. Crocus was reading a newspaper, floating in front of the Going Merry on his mini island. "Are you a doctor?" Usopp asks.

"Yeah, I may not look like it, but I am a doctor. I also ran a clinic on the cape, long ago. It was just a few years, but I was also a ship's doctor."

"Really? Then be our ship's doctor!" Luffy says. "Don't be ridiculous! I no longer have the energy to do reckless things like you guys!" Crocus starts climbing up a thin, metal ladder. You let out a small sigh, slouching a little.

Nami looks at the large metal doors that Crocus was currently opening. "A doctor, huh? That's why Laboon's body is like this. They must be from treatement." Crocus nods. "That's right. When the whale is this big, it's impossible to treat from the outside."

He turns the small metal wheel, the large thick metal doors opening. Luffy looks in pure joy, pumping his fists up in the air. "The sky! The real sky!!" Miss Wednesday wakes up, undoing her ropes, then shaking Mr. 9 up. "Hm? Miss Wednesday, what on earth...."

Miss Wednesday shushes, pointing to Luffy. "But 50 years.....? They sure are making him wait a long time." Sanji sighs. "Baka!This is the Grand Line! They're dead!"

Crocus spoke up. "I did some research, and it turns out that they left the Grand Line." Usopp's eyes widen, looking back at Laboon. "Don't tell me.... They left without him?!" Nami grimaces. "Run away from the Grand Line.........Does that mean they survived the Calm Belt?!"

"Even if they are alive, they won't come back here. Also......" Crocus sweat drops, when he looks at you. You sigh yet again, banging your head against the railing. Something had just been bothering you....

"What's up with your girlfriend, Straw hat boy?" Everyone immediately screeched at this. "THEY'RE NOT A THING!!" Luffy merely hums, sitting on the now broken Merry head frowns at you. You bang your head again on the railing, yet again, and let out a long sigh. Luffy hops off the head, and walks over to you. "What's wrong Y/n?"

"I can't help worrying........" you mutter, still not looking up at him. "About Laboon?" Luffy asks.

"Yeah..........For 50 years he's been waiting for them, and they just abandoned him......... It pisses me off.......... If he tries to listen to Crocus, he has no point in waiting! And he can't even go back to the West Blue. Those pirates were his only hope and now, now he's just- just, trapped."

'Kind of like me..........'

He nods, understanding what you were getting at. "Yeah, it makes me mad too, but-" Luffy grabs your hand, giving it a gentle squeeze, forcing you to look up at him finally. "Don't worry! I have an idea!"

You smile sadly, giving Luffy's hand a small squeeze."What did you have in mind?"

"Shishishi! Well, first, I need the main mast!"

"................Huh?"

Meanwhile, Crocus explains everything to the rest of the crew. Mist sighs, feeling bad for Laboon. "Poor guy....." Everyone jumps at the sound of Luffy yelling. When they look up, Luffy is carrying the main mast, and running up Laboon. Zoro notices you are watching from below, smirking, and wearing Luffy's hat. "Y/n! What's Luffy doing with the mast?!"

"Gum Gum......Flower Arrangement!" Luffy stabs the mast into Laboon's head, right on his scars. You wince, feeling bad for Laboon, but you already knew what was going on. Laboon's eyes water up, and he lets out a squeak, thrashing in the water from the pain.

"WHAT'RE YOU DOING?!" the crew and even Crocus, screeches. Luffy is hanging onto the mast for dear life as Laboon continues to thrash. Laboon jumps out of the water, and slams Luffy into the ground by the lighthouse. "Hey, kid!" Crocus yells, worried.

"Don't worry! He isn't going to be killed by getting crushed!" you assure the male only for Nami to glare at you. "That's great, but help us Y/N!!!"

"Oh, right!" You steady the waves under the Going Merry, then put up a large dome around the light house, with Luffy, you and Laboon inside. Laboon groans in pain, his head bleeding from slamming into the ground. "Ha! Dummy!" Luffy taunts the whale before punching Laboon directly in the eye, and Laboon fights back, with you watching and keeping the Merry from harm.

Luffy tries to kick Laboon, but Laboon slams him into the light house. "Luffy! What the hell are you doing?! And why aren't you stopping him Y/n?!" Zoro yells, turning to you for some sort of explanation. Laboon goes to charge at Luffy again, but you step in between the both of them, dropping the dome. "It's a draw!" you declare.

Laboon stops, confused. You give Luffy back his hat, and smile at Laboon, then look back to everyone at the ship. You mouth the words, listen to the crew. Zoro nods, and everyone does the same, now their attention on the three of you. You smile, then nod to Luffy. He walks closer to Laboon. "I'm strong, aren't I? You wanna defeat me, don't you?!"

You grin, feeling a bit irked Luffy went a bit far, but for now, went with it. "Your fight isn't over yet! You're going to have to fight again!" Luffy nods, standing at your side. "Your buddies are gone, but I'm your rival forever! We're going to fight again to see who's stronger!"

"When we go around the Grand Line, we'll come back to see you!" you give the whale a small wink and Luffy nods. "When I come back, let's fight again!"

Laboon's eyes start to tear up again. He lets out another loud bellow, only this time, he seemed, happy.

You had finished healing Laboon's wounds using your Devil Fruit, since he was a creature of the sea after all. When you had finished, Luffy and you had painted the Straw Hat jolly roger (see picture above) over his scars on his forehead. Now the two of you were covered in mostly yellow and white paint, but you were overall satisfied with your work.

You smile, thinking back to when Luffy had painted the mark.

"Yosh! This is our symbol of promise to fight again!" You nod, smiling sadly seeing his wounds. "Until we come back, don't remove the mark by hitting your head, 'kay?" Laboon makes a series of clicking noises. You turn to Mist for translation. "He says, 'Come closer please'."

"Ookay?" You walk to the edge of the land with the light house. Laboon lowers his head, poking you with his snout a little bit. You giggle at the gesture, patting his head, and kissing him over one of the scars. "You're welcome, Laboon."

Luffy frowns, watching you and Laboon in confusion.

Back on the ship, Usopp is working to fix the mast, when he notices the two weirdos from earlier are gone. "Oi! What happened to those two?!" Zoro was leaning against the railing of the ship hands behind his head when he noticed they were missing as well. "Ran away? I don't know!"

Nami sighs, hands on her hips. "Man, too bad we never learned who they were....."

Not too far from the ship, were the two weirdos, floating, and unsure what their next move was. "What should we do, Miss Wednesday?" Mr. 9 whispers, the two of them keeping a good distance from the Going Merry. "Well, the least we can do is report to the boss. Our mission completion time has long passed."

"Yes, since we don't have our weapons anymore, we'll go back to our office and start all over." Miss Wednesday says. "Yes we shall then!" Mr. 9 replies. Miss Wednesday looks over to you, watching you giggle as you hugged the large whale. She smirks, already cooking up a plan inside her head.

"And, ask for permission, to engage in Operation: Kidnap Water Bearer Y/n!" she declares.
