Recap:

"Yeah!" he grins. You smile at Luffy, and you don't notice the small blush tinted on his cheeks. You stand up, walking out of the kitchen, Luffy stumbles getting up, following you. You don't notice the very sneaky Nami and Apis watching you two through the window. "Is this what they call true love Nami?"

"Yeah, 100%~" she giggles mischeviously.

"Yahoo! Yahoo! Look at them! They'll never catch up to us!" Nami and Apis jump hearing Usopp, noticing Navy ships far behind the Going Merry. Nami crosses her arms, getting serious. "The Going Merry is faster and more agile than the Navy ships since they're bulky, but what are we going to do when we get to Warship Island?!"

"We'll be alright!" Nami, Apis and Usopp see you and Luffy stepping out of the room. Nami has three tick marks on her head. "How will we be okay?!"

"We just need to find the dragons' nest before them, so Grandpa Ryu can get better, right?" You sweat drop, "Easier said than done." Sanji nods. "Yeah. It could be at the bottom of the ocean for all we know."

"If it's at the bottom of the ocean, we'll just search the bottom of ocean!" Luffy declares, only for Zoro to smack him on the head. "That's big talk for someone who can't swim!"

Luffy winces, before pointing to you. "Y/n can!" Nami smacks him in turn, now two lumps forming on his head. "Dummy! Did you forget; Y/n can't breathe underwater! She can't just search the entire ocean!"

"Well, technically I could...."

"See?"

You look down at your bandaged hands. "But..... With my hands like this, I can't heal them with the water, and I won't be able to use my powers as much as I'd like to." Apis studies your hands in worry. "Why is that Y/n?" You try to move your finger, wincing slightly. "Most of my moves, come from using my hands. And with the condition they're in...it hurts to even move my finger. It could break my concentration, and I could end up sinking our ship or someth- "

"GYAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! DON'T USE YOUR POWERS Y/N!!!!!!" Usopp screams followed by Nami who was just as terrified. "DON'T YOU DARE TRY TO!!"

"I JUST SAID I WASN'T!!!" you yell back, only to receive a smack from Nami in the end. "Anyways, if we are going to get to Warship Island fast, we don't have time to mess with the Navy!"

"It doesn't look like that's going to be an option...." Everyone turns to the front, where Sanji is looking. There is a large warship, with the number eight painted onto the flags, and the front of the ship has a dragon-like head. "Wow! So cool! It's like a gargoyle!" Luffy laughs.

You sweat drop, but figure it's best not to say anything. In the distance, in an entire fleet of smaller navy ships appear from behind the gargoyle-headed one. "Is this for real?!" Nami screeches. "Just how many ships does the navy have?!"

The navy ships attach thick and heavy black chains to them, blocking all exits, as the ships are now surrounding the Going Merry in a large circle. Mist swims up to you. "Take them down?" you shake your head. "You're injured. Stand by, and protect Grandpa Ryu."

Mist goes to the back with Grandpa Ryu. You turn your attention to the crew. "They have us blocked off! What do we do?!" Apis cries, practically running around the ship in panic. Usopp has a smug look on his face, with his arms crossed, looking confident. "Jump onto a ship, kick the guys off, and cut the links! That's the only choice obviously!"

"Wow! You can do that, Usopp?! " Apis asks only for Usopp sweats nervously, then point to you, Luffy, Zoro and Sanji. "Go! Luffy! Zoro! Sanji! Y/n!" She instantly loses any sort of respect for the male. "I thought as much...."

Zoro grins, pulling out his katana. "Doesn't sound too bad to me though!" Apis did a double take hearing this. "Eh?! But, are you serious?! There's no way you could survive that if you tried!"

"It'll be okay Apis. Things'll work out." Nami walks over to the female who was close to the ledge as she looked down at Grandpa Ryu. "But, make it quick you guys!"

"You can count on me Nami-swan!~"

"Yosh! Let's go!"

"Yahoo!" You try to jump off the ship, only to find a strong arm wrapped around your waist, pulling you back. Zoro. "Eh?!"

"You stay." he replies gruffly, setting you back down on the ship. "What?! Whyyy?!" you whine. "You just said you can't use your powers!" he hisses pointing at your hands. "As much as I'd like to! I can still fight!"

"Well I said no!"

"But I wan-"

Sanji is quick to cut you off, "Y/n-chan, please stay on the ship."

"Eh?! You too Sanji-san?!" the odds were not in your favor. "My lovely ocean princess, your hands are injured. I don't want you injured further."

"But-"

"Y/n can come." Luffy says, causing both males to stare at him in both irritation and disbelief. "EHHH?!" Luffy continues, "But-" he stretches his arm around your waist. "You're sticking with me! So I make sure you don't injure yourself!"

You sigh in defeat. You can go, but you're being babysat. You pull away from Luffy, and cross your arms over your chest.

'Great. Babysat by my idiotic captain.'

You nod your head. The navy ships start to fire canons at the ship. You lift your hand up, closing your eyes. You picture Grandpa Ryu's raft, and Mist and Azul. You create a large dome, protecting the three of them, steadying the currents under the raft. You keep your left eye closed, so you could focus on the raft. With your right eye opened, you focus on the three boys, and the ships. The ship is a little off, due to the canon balls hitting the water, and Luffy was laughing.

"Shishishi! Yosh! Let's goooo!!"

The ship starts moving in circles to avoid the canons. You try putting up a dome around the Merry, but it's too hard to see through the water, not to mention it's too big anyways; with you having one around the raft. "Dang it! I hate this...." you mutter.

You notice out of the corner of your eye, Apis is out of the cabin, on her hands and knees. "Apis! What're you doing?! Go back inside!"

"But....Grandpa Ryu is all by himself!"

"Don't worry! Mist is on his way, and I have a water dome around him."

But Apis ignores you as she runs to the raft. You close your eyes, and see Apis sliding down the ropes to the raft. You open the dome, making a hole large enough for her to slip through. She is now next to Grandpa Ryu, followed by Mist next to the raft. "Don't worry Grandpa Ryu! I promise I'll take you to the dragons' nest!"

You sigh, closing the dome. "'ll protect you guys, 'kay?" Mist says. The ship suddenly tilts forward, causing you to lose your balance as you fall down. Usopp does too, hitting his head on the mast. He clutches his head in pain. "OUCH!! Wait a minute! We were attacked from behind! Sanji! Y/n! We were hit! We're going to sink! Do something!"

"Cool down! We weren't hit!" you yell back to the long nosed sniper, "Eh? Really?" "Of course!" Sanji interjects. "Y/n-chan and Nami-swan are never wrong~"

Usopp lets out a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness. I'm saved! Who thought of this plan anyways?!"

"It was you..."

One of the canon balls comes straight for the ship. "Hey! It's coming straight for the ship!" Usopp screeches, backing all the way until he was against the Merry's door. "I can't do anything more than this! Do something on your end!" Nami yells.

"Okay!" Luffy runs to where the canon ball is coming. "Gum- Gum.."Luffy takes a deep breath, expanding his stomach, "Balloon!"

Luffy catches the canon ball on his stomach, flinging it back at the ships.The canon ball hits one of the warship's mast, as it collapses, destroying the ship. There is a loud bell being rung, as a large canon, bigger than the average ships' is being pulled out.

Nami cries in fear, "What is that?! If the ship takes the hit, it'll be blown to shreds!" Luffy steps forward, ready to take the attack, "We'll be okay! I'll just bounce it back again!"

"Don't be stupid! I'm turning the ship about; you guys work the rear sail! Hurry!" Luffy and Zoro run off to the rear sail, and you just stand there, staring into space. Nami eventually notices and gets annoyed. "Y/n! Why don't you do something?!"

"Huh?! I already am! I'm protecting Grandpa Ryu and Apis! Now shush so I can focus!" Meanwhile Usopp has the ship's canon out, and his goggles from Loguetown on. "An eye for an eye! I got a shot ready for you too!"

Usopp fires the canon, as it goes right into the Navy's larger one, blasting it to bits. The Commodore and his chair fall flat on the ground. "W-what just happened?!" cried a very large man, with what appeared to be a logo of the Navy tattoo on his stomach.

One of the soldiers run up to him, saluting. "An enemy canon ball hit our main canon perfectly!"

"W-what?! Hurry and lift me up!"

"How do you like that?! This is what happens when Usopp-sama gets serious!" he says proudly though his legs still shaking. Apis is watching from below, seeing Usopp's amazing shot. "Wow.....he hit it! You're cool Usopp!" Apis gives Usopp a thumbs up. He looks back from Sanji, Zoro and you, to Apis. He gives her a thumbs up back, and winking.

Nami turns to the three of you. "Now's our chance! Let's act quickly and cut some links to open a path!"

"Right, Nami-swan~!"

"Leave it to me! Gum-Gum......Bridge!" Luffy stretches his arm back, then thrusts it forward onto the navy ship, creating a bridge. Zoro, you and Sanji run across. You are in between the two of them, with Zoro in front and Sanji behind. You feel bad since you're running so slow. "Sorry I'm so slow Sanji-san!"

"It's okay my ocean princess~ If you fall I'll catch you!!~" The three of you reach the deck, waiting for Luffy. "Yosh! Grandpa Ryu! Just hold on! Here goes!

Luffy jumps off the ship, his arm stretching him back to the Navy ship. Zoro and Y/n turn to the sound of Luffy coming. You panic trying to get away, but it's too late. Luffy hits Zoro first, Zoro hits you, sending you flying into the wall, along with the weight of two other men. "Sorry Y/n and Zoro!"

"Why you...." you and Zoro growl. Luffy and Zoro get off you. Your back was killing you now, not to mention your ribs from earlier, so you were struggling to get up. Sanji held out his hand in front of you. "Let me help you up, mademoiselle."

"Thanks Sanji-san!" You take Sanji's hand, and flash him a bright smile. Sanji has hearts in his eyes, with his cheeks light pink. "You're welcome Y/n-chaaaaaaaaaannnnn~!!" You stand up, then walk over to the steel chains where Zoro and Luffy are standing. Sanji is still holding onto your hand, but you pay no attention to it.

"Steel chains, huh?" Zoro mutters. "Think you can cut 'em?" Luffy asks, poking at them. "There's nothing I can't cut!"

"You can't cut me!" Zoro turns to you, rolling his eyes. "Fine, fine. There is one thing I can't cut. But, I can cut anything else."

Luffy hums, believing Zoro. "Really? Then they're all yours." It's then the navy soldiers start pouring out of the doors, each armed with a sword. They surround the four of you. Zoro is at the edge of the ship, standing over the steel chains. You are in between Sanji and Luffy, with Luffy on your right and Sanji on your left still holding your hand. "Talk about coming out of the woodwork...." Sanji mutters.

"This is gonna be fun!" you say grinning at the thought of getting to kick some Navy butt. Sanji blushes, staring at you. You cover your nose though, since he's smoking. "Ummm, Sanji-san....." Sanji notices the cigarette in his mouth. He tosses it on the floor, putting it out with his shoe. He then takes your hand, grabbing it with both of his hands. He kisses your hand. 'Apologies, my ocean princess~"

Luffy and Zoro notice this. Zoro gets irritated, two large tick marks forming. Luffy tilts his head in confusion. Why was he "Sanji, take care of Y/n."

'I'm probably just worried about her,' he thinks to himself.

"I was already going to~"

"Then I'm all yours Sanji-san!"

Zoro growls, seeing that Luffy just let him. "Don't you dare touch Y/n, swirly eyebrows! Y/n, Luffy, Love Cook. I leave the small fries to you."

"In the name of the Commodore Nelson fleet, we won't let you break through here!" The soldiers charge at the three of you. You go to attack the soldiers, creating a water scythe and getting excited to beat them. But, every time you would slash two soldiers, Sanji would "hog all the prey" as you say. And of course, Luffy wasn't holding back either. "Come on guys! Leave me some prey!"

"Yes Y/n-chan~"Sanji stops fighting. You smirk as you dissolve your water scythe and start kicking and punching the soldiers. You send one soldier flying into another by giving them a right hook to the gut. Another soldier with a sword, you do a high kick, hitting his chin, then round house him into the wall. Sanji was shocked. "Wow....you're amazing at fighting Y/n-chan~!"

"Watch out!" Sanji looks behind and does a round house to a soldier behind him. He makes a small 'tch' sound. "Don't you dare interrupt me and my ocean princess!" The soldier yelps, picking up his sword and running away. You wince at your hands. "Man, I can't punch with my hands like this......."

Meanwhile Zoro has cut the first of four steel chains on the ship. Usopp and the others watch them, cheering the three of you on. "Yes! That's it! Keep it up! Chop those chains!" Nelson Royale is clutching his fan, crumbling the poor flimsy paper. "Curse you! How dare you low life pirates try to break my chains! Capture them, at all costs!"

'He doesn't seem to know about me......Good.'

You slug another soldier, causing him to fall over the rail and into the sea. You sigh in annoyance. You were getting tired of dealing punch after punch. "Alright, that's enough!"

More soldiers come running across the chains, and you take a deep breath, concentrating on the steel chains. You swipe your arm in a swift motion. The soldiers stop for a brief moment unsure of what happened. "Water Slicer."

All four of the chains suddenly are cut in half, and the navy soldiers panic as they hit the water. You look over and see Zoro has only cut two of them so far. Luffy, on the other hand has an entire flock of navy soldiers behind him, but his arms are stretched back. "Yo, Luffy!"

"Oh hey Y/n! Hang on a sec! Gum- Gum.......SLINGSHOT!!!" Luffy lifts his feet off the boat, and he slings back all of the soldiers off the boat, leaving a hole in the side as they all crash into the water. Luffy and Sanji run over to you. "Shishishi! That was fun!"

"Yeah, but my punches are really weak...." you mutter. Sanji's eyes widen as he looks down, "Oh Y/n-chan! Your hands!" You look down and the once white bandages were now stained with your blood. "Guess I punched a little too hard, hehehe....." Luffy frowns at you. He is about to say something, when you turn your attention to Zoro. He has only one chain left to cut, and Nami seems to have noticed too, as the Going Merry is making it's way over to you guys.

"No, no! Someone stop them!"

You close your eyes, picturing Grandpa Ryu's raft, trying to see if your dome is still up. It is, but slowly wavering. You gasp when you hear a loud whooshing sound, and the Merry tips backward. Quickly, you steady the waves under the ship and Grandpa Ryu's raft. You focus all of your strength onto supporting the Going Merry, and end up taking down the dome around Grandpa Ryu and Apis. When you look to see who attacked, it's none other than Eric, in a small paddle boat with three navy soldiers paddling to the raft. "Apis!" you cry.

You jump off the ship, creating a walkway on the water for you to run across. But it's too late, as Eric is already there. "Well done Eric! Now the Millennial Dragon is mine!" Apis appears from behind Grandpa Ryu. She looks up, noticing the dome you created was gone. "Hey, Y/n what's go- Gyah!"

She notices Eric over her. She points at him. "You're the Sicko Sicko guy!" Eric growls, tired of hearing that sentence today. "Not Sicko. Sickle Sickle Fruit! Girl! It's time to hand over the Millennial Dragon!"

You are almost there, and Nami and Usopp have ran over to the railing to see what's going on. Apis runs in front of Grandpa Ryu, holding her arms out in front of him protectively. "No! I'll never give you Grandpa Ryu!"

"Hand it over like a good girl!"

"No!"

"You know, I could chop you up anytime with my wind slash-"

"Get away from Apis!" You create a large wall, separating Apis and Eric from each other. You stand on the raft, hands on your knees, trying to catch your breath. "Are you all right Apis?!" Apis gasped, immediately hugging you. "Y/n!"

"You lay a hand on her, and I'll personally kill you!"

"T-that's right! Usopp-sama and Nami won't stand by for it either!"

Eric merely smirks. "Idiots. I made that wind slash miss on purpose. Get in my way, and this time I won't miss! I'll blow your entire ship apart!" You hold out your arm in front of Nami, Usopp, Apis and Grandpa Ryu protectively. "I won't let you. We're not letting you take Grandpa Ryu without a fight!"

Nami's eyes widen. "Y/n don't! You want him to hit Apis or the others?" You grit your teeth. You lower your arm down, fists clenched at your sides. Eric smirks, and has the soldiers untie the boat from the Going Merry. Meanwhile the Monster Trio are watching from the ship, noticing that Eric is taking the raft, tying it to their paddle boat.

Luffy narrows his eyes trying to see in the distance. "What's he doing?!" Zoro hums, "Looks like he's going to take Apis and Y/n hostage and steal the dragon."

"That's bad!" Luffy goes to attack Eric, but Zoro places his hand on Luffy's shoulder. "Wait! If you try to hit him, he'll take out Apis and Y/n and the others with his technique!"

"Yosh!" He places his foot against the railing and Zoro sweat drops. "Then I'll use my foot!" Zoro smacks him on the head. "LISTEN BETTER!" Eric finishes attaching the raft. He has Apis and you on the raft, but your hands are tied behind your back by rope, to prevent you from escaping. "Well, I'm taking the Millennial Dragon now! Nothing personal!"

"You fight dirty! Give Apis and Y/n back!" Usopp yells, pained that he couldn't do anything to help the two. Commodore Nelson chortles. "Well done Eric! Now, bring it here!" Eric narrows his eyes at the fat man. "No thanks. This isn't for you."

Commodore Nelson's smile instantly fades. "Eh?! What'd you say?!" "The only reason I obeyed you are because of the Navy's information gathering capabilities."

While Eric and Commodore Nelson are at it, you try to catch Apis' eye. She does, and you nod your head, signaling her to come over. She sneaks behind Eric, and stands next to the edge of the raft, near the boat. "I'm sorry Y/n. Now you're going to be taken too."

"Hey, it's not your fault. I'm going to get us out of this. Grab my dagger from my boot." She nods, climbing in the boat to do so. The soldiers turn to you. "Hey! Wha-"

Mist pops up from behind, biting onto the soldier's shirt and dragging him down into the sea. The second soldier tries to signal Eric. "Sir look ba-" Mist pops up again, this time spitting water in his face as the soldiers screams and falls into the sea. Eric turns and sees Apis with your dagger in hand. He jumps onto the boat.

"You! Sickle Sickle......."

"Don't make another move! I'll shoot you and the girl!" You kick the soldier off the ship with your heel. Eric does the same finger motion, readying to attack you, when the canons start firing around the rowboat. "Apis! Hurry! Get my hands free!"

She runs over behind you, and starts sawing away at your ropes. "Oh no you don't! Sickle Sickle..... Windslash!"

The whirlwind was originally to be aimed at you, but due to the canon firing, it heads for Grandpa Ryu instead. Apis finishes cutting your ropes, and you dash off the boat, jumping onto the raft in front of Grandpa Ryu. You quickly put up a large water wall, wincing as one of the cuts hit your wrist.

"Y/n!!" the three boys yell, thankful you managed to stop it just barely. Apis, seeing this felt guilty. You'd been risking your life so much for her and Grandpa Ryu. "I'm begging you! Please don't harass Grandpa Ryu, and don't hurt Y/n anymore! They haven't done anything wrong!"

"Shut up." Eric walks over to Apis. "I have to take Grandpa Ryu to the dragons' nest right away! So please stop this!" You lowered your water wall, running over to the girl. "Apis! Don't you dare beg to someone as low as him!" He picks her up by the back of her dress. Apis starts kicking and thrashing. You rush over to them.

"Let her go!"

You go to punch him, but Eric has your dagger pressed against her neck. You stop, not daring to make a move. "You don't get it. You're both hostages. And I'm taking the Millennial Dragon." Apis continues to thrash around. "I'll never let you take Grandpa Ryu! Never! Never!"

"I've had enough girl! Any more shouting and I'll chop you apart! So don't even think about making a move, Water Bearer!"

You grit your teeth, unsure what to do. Apis bites down on Eric's hand, the one holding the dagger. He screams in pain, throwing Apis down on the boat. He also drops the dagger, that you quickly grab and then run back to the boat where Apis lays. "Apis! Are you okay?!"

"Damn kids, giving me trouble......." he glares down at the two of you, now angry. You are about to reply when you notice Grandpa Ryu standing up. You gasp, pulling Apis back a little bit. He smirks seeing you back up. "Scared?" You roll your eyes, making sure Apis was close to you. "Look behind you asshole."

He turns and screams as Grandpa Ryu sends Eric flying, hitting him with his large feathered wing. He leans closer to you and Apis, seeing if she is okay. You gently shake her, trying to get her to wake up. "Apis! Apis! Apis!"

Suddenly, Grandpa Ryu's expression changes. He spreads his wings and lets out a loud screech, causing you to cover your ears. Mist pops up from under the water, feeling the vibration. "What's going on?!"

You can hear the sounds of the chains rattling, and the cries of the navy soldiers, unable to take the loud sound. The crew is doing the same as well, with Nami and Usopp hunched over, hands over their ears. Zoro and Sanji do the same, while Luffy plugs his ears with his pointer fingers.

When he stops, the waves settle down, and he folds his wings back up. Apis slowly stirs, sitting up. "Ow........" She looks up and sees Grandpa Ryu. She hugs his snout, giggling. "Grandpa Ryu! You can move! That's great! That's great!"

You find yourself chuckling, seeing Apis all snuggled against Grandpa Ryu. You stop however, seeing Grandpa Ryu is standing, and flapping his wings up and down, creating a strong gust of wind. "Go Grandpa Ryu!! You can fly!!" You and Mist cheer.

Grandpa Ryu lifts a few inches off of the raft. Apis holds down her hat to keep it from flying away, but is in total awe. "You're flying! You're flying Grandpa Ryu!!"" Commodore Nelson has veins popping out of his forehead now. "No! If the Millennial Dragon is just gonna escape, then I don't care if we kill it! All I need is its Dragonite anyway! Fire! Fire! Fire! Fire like mad!"

The canons start to go off. Azul zips over to help Nami and Usopp. Mist speeds under water to try and knock the boats off balance. "Water Wall!"

You start creating smaller versions of the water wall, blocking the canon balls from hitting Grandpa Ryu. Mist managed to knock over two of the smaller navy ships, but the others are still rapid firing. "Grandpa Ryu! Run! Run to where the canons can't reach you!" Apis yells to the senile dragon.

"Yeah, I'll shield you! Go!" you shout, angering Commodore Nelson even more. "That's it! Shoot him down, and that girl! She's getting on my nerves!" They start firing faster, and you are rushing to blocking every single canon ball. "Grandpa Ryu! I can't make a dome like last time! You have to go!"

"STOP IT!!" Luffy and Sanji start knocking the navy soldiers over board, while Zoro slices up the canons. The firing slows down, giving you time to create a thin dome, that will only hold for so long though.

"Grandpa Ryu! Take Apis and fly out of here! I'll open the dome and protect you both as you're getting away!" Apis nods. "Yeah! Let's go Grandpa Ryu!" Three more canons hit the dome, causing it to break. You notice it's coming from the main ship, and Grandpa Ryu seems to notice too, as he flies over there. "No! Grandpa Ryu! Don't go that way!"

"It's coming thsi way! Shoot it down! Shoot it down! Hurry!" You try to shield the dragon, but it's too late as Grandpa Ryu collapses, landing in the water. The whole crew turns in shock. Mist swims up to Grandpa Ryu. Luffy flings himself off the navy ship's mast. "Grandpa Ryu!!"

You gasp, going to run over to him, but Apis holds you back. She grabs your waist, and when you look down at her, she has tears streaming down her face, and she buries her face in your chest. You couldn't even feel the pain from your cuts, as you hug Apis, trying to calm her down. "Apis........."

Luffy jumps on Grandpa Ryu, then runs over to his face. "Hey Grandpa Ryu! Hang in there!" There is a pause, and you guessed that Grandpa Ryu was talking to Luffy and Mist. "Hey now! What're you saying?! Don't talk about dying!" Mist yells.

Grandpa Ryu's eye turn in the direction of you and Apis. "Yeah. I know. I will save Apis!" Luffy says frantically. "And take you to the dragon's nest! So, fight hard to stay alive!" Apis sobs in your arms, then looks out a Grandpa Ryu. "GRANDPA RYU!!!!"
