Recap:

Apis looks over at Grandpa Ryu and giggles. "They're so in love~"

The next day, you and Luffy had climbed back down the mountain, and went to tell the other the news about Grandpa Ryu. "Hey everyone! This is so cool!" Luffy says ready to announce about Grandpa Ryu, only to see everyone asleep. Except, Grandpa Bokuden was still telling the story in his sleep. "And the 1,201st king was......"

"Still going on, huh?" Luffy goes over to Usopp, and bursts his bubble, literally. It makes a large popping noise, causing you to jump. You didn't get very much sleep last night, considering you were in a cave, and had to climb back down afterwards. "Hey listen to me. I have something to tell you."

Usopp was startled by this as well as he shoots up, screaming. "GYAH!" Zoro stirs, waking up. "What? Is it morning already?" Zoro looks down where you were supposed to be, in his arms, then looks up to see you near Luffy. He looks back and forth a couple of times, then gets mad. "Where did you go?!"

"You just noticed I was gone?!"

"I'm a heavy sleeper! Besides, you tried to be sneaky!"

"I did not!"

"Did too!"

"Did not!"

"Did too!"

"SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!"

Nami smacks you and Zoro on the head. "IT'S TOO EARLY FOR THIS!!" Sanji is the last to wake up. "Man, that old man's story was so long I fell asleep...Sorry Nami-swan."

"You're forgiven this time Sanji-kun. Next time, don't you dare fall asleep!"

"Yes Nami-swan~!!"

Nami then notices you were with Luffy, and grabbing you by the shoulders, starts to shake you around furiously like a rag doll. "Y/NNN!!!! How dare you run off with Luffy and leave me here?! You are so gonna pay for this later do you hear me?! I am never gonna forgive you ever!!!"

"Okay, okay! I get it! But, I didn't know I was going to be gone that long! So lay off!" you yell back, feeling dizzy. Nami is going to scold you more, but one of the villagers barge in. "We have a problem Bokuden-san! Where's Apis?!"

"The Navy fleet started blocking the harbor!" You and Nami instantly stop fighting. "What?! They'd go that far for her......?"

"Why are they after a girl like her?" Usopp asks, the question that was on everyone's mind. "Guys come with me!" "Of course y/n-chan~!"

"What do we do with the old man?" Usopp asks, only for Zoro to start dragging him away. "He's sound asleep. We should just let him be."

Nami faces the villager that gave them the news. "When Bokuden-san wakes up, tell him that we'll protect Apis."

"O-Of course."

Zoro POV:

'Well.......the Millennial Dragon does exist.'

Y/n and Luffy lead us to a cave, where Curly Eyebrows, Usopp, Nami and I stand, wide with shock at the large dragon. Apis crawls down from the head. "Hi everyone!"

"This is the Millennial Dragon Grandpa Bokuden was talking about." y/n says. "See?! It's so cool, right Y/n?!" "Stop talking like he's yours!" Nami yells.

Usopp literally has his jaw dropped to the floor. "I-I-I-Is he really h-h-h-h-harmless?!" Grandpa Ryu gets closer to Usopp, and licks him on the face with his large tongue. "Oh yeah, he can be senile sometimes. So if he treats you like food, get away!"

But it's already too late as Usopp is crying comical tears, his head in between the jaws of the Millennial Dragon. "I'm a goner!" he sobs muffled. "But, it doesn't hurt, right? Shishishishi!" Luffy says, recalling his experience. "I guess you can call it soft mouth!"

"Wh-What're you saying?! He's not like a dog or anything!" Usopp stutters. "Let him eat you like that!" I say teasingly. "Don't, he'll have food poisoning!" Curly brows adds. I look over and see Y/n has tears in her eyes from laughing so much. She's clutching her stomach from laughing so much. I can't help but smile.

'I'm so glad that she's alright. But.....'

~~Flashback~~

When I saw those scars on her back, I was horrified. Worse than when I heard Kuina died. My little sister, those horrible scars on her back. When she told me what happened with her father...

'What the hell?! What kind of father would do something like that?!'

Of course, I didn't say that out loud. I didn't want to upset Y/n anymore than she was.

(Y/n): I know, it's a lot to take in bu-

"I'm sorry."

'I shouldn't have let you leave that day.That day when your mother hit you, and took you away! I should've done something! All I can do is apologize!'

"What?" she asks looking up confused. "I shouldn't have left you that day......"

'Dammit! I'm supposed to protect you Y/n! I'm not supposed to just sit on the sidelines, watching, waiting for something bad to happen!'

'But, no more! I swear that I will protect you! I will make sure that smile will stay this time!'

~~End Flashback~~

'Back then, I swore to myself that her smile was never going away. I intend to keep that promise; to the very end.'

"Zoro! Zoro!"

I hear my name being called. Guess I zoned out. Y/n is shaking me back and forth. I slap her hand away. "Yo." She lets out an exasperated sigh. "Finally! Did you hear what Nami and I said?"

"...Yes?" Y/n deadpans. She then explains to me that we're going to bring the Millennial Dragon back to Lost Island. But, the Navy is also after us, so it's going to be a challenge. Yet, animals have a migration instinct, so it might work out I guess. " Well, things will probably work out, don't you think?"

"That's fine, but what are we going to do about him? Just bringing him down the mountain will be a lot of work." Sanji says gesturing to the dragon before blowing out a small puff of smoke. Nami looks at Y/n and they both smile, turning to us. "We're gonna build a cart! One big enough for Grandpa Ryu to ride!"

Usopp smacks his forehead, and Apis's face lights up. Y/n looks pretty pumped up about this so, why not? "Yeah, let's do it." I say after a moment. And so, Luffy, Curly Eyebrows, Y/n and I began cutting down the trees. "Gum-Gum Gatling!!"

Luffy punched down a whole section of trees. Curly Eyebrows also did. I cut down a few, but Y/n was complaining about it. "Come on guys! Save me some trees!" she whines. I stop in front of a large patch of them and sheathe my katana. "Well, what're you waiting for? Go."

Y/n smiles, as she creates a large ax out of water. She charges at the patch of trees. "Water Ax!!" She swings it across the trees, slicing them all down perfectly, but she almost cuts Luffy and Curly Eyebrows in the process. "Whoa y/n-chan!!!"

"Oi! Watch it Y/n!" I can't help but let out a laugh. Y/n's "Water Ax" changes back into water, and she is a blushing mess. "Sorry!"

"You're a big softie when it comes to y/n aren't you?" Nami teases, and I look away, trying to hide the fact I was blushing. "S-S-Shut up!" Nami starts teasing me, poking me and saying I'm such a big softie. "I'm gonna gather up the wood!"

Once we have gathered up all of the wood, we ask Nami if it's enough. She gives us a thumbs up, winking. "Yup, A-okay!" Usopp cuts out wheels from the wood, attaching them to the large part where Grandpa Ryu will lay. "Yosh, that'll do it!" Luffy stomps on the wood lightly, to check how sturdy it is, along with Apis. "Wow! This thing won't break when Grandpa Ryu rides it!"

"But, the harbor is blocked by the Navy, right? What will we do with the ship?" Curly brows asks. "Should we make a raid?" I ask. "But, we're going to have Grandpa Ryu with us!" Nami exclaims.

I hear Y/n laughing softly. When I turn to face her, she has a evil smirk on her face, like she's planning something bad. I nearly jump out of my skin when I see her expression. "I think I have an idea on how to get Grandpa Ryu down the mountain. But to do it, the Going Merry needs to be brought to the rear of the island."

Usopp nods. Yosh! It's the precious ship Kaya gave us! I'll do it! However...Zoro comes with me!" "Me too?!" I yell surprised. "Then I leave it to you Big Bro!"

"Now then........how about we wait til nightfall?" Usopp suggests. "NO!" Apis yells immediately. "Bring the ship to the edge of the cape that looks like Usopp's nose." Y/n says pointing to it. Luffy looks out at the cape, and laughs. Gotta admit, it really was Usopp's nose.

"Shishishi! You're right, it's Usopp's nose!"

"So, what're we going to do? Just bringing the ship won't-" Usopp lets out a frightened squeal when he sees Y/n's face. "Hehehe. Don't worry about it, Usopp." Usopp yelps, backing away from Y/n, followed by Nami. I just look at Luffy and shrug.

"No clue."

"You're really weird Y/n, shishishi!"

"Thank you! I will take that as a compliment! Besides, I don't think they will find this place so easily, but we should hurry." I nod turning to that idiot cook. "Love cook! Luffy! Put Grandpa Ryu on the cart!"

"Huh? I'm not having a damn marimo order me around!" he yells only for Y/n to cut in. "Pleeeeeeeease Sanji-san~?"

"Of course my ocean princess~!!" Luffy and Sanji dash back into the cave, getting Grandpa Ryu. Meanwhile, Usopp and I head off to get the Going Merry.

Author POV:

Now that Zoro and Usopp left, it's just you, Nami, Luffy Sanji, Apis and Grandpa Ryu. You look out on the mountain, trying to find the ship, when you spot the ships' proud straw hat skull. You smile. "Here they come!" A seagull lands on Grandpa Ryu and starts letting out small bird noises.

"W-we've got trouble!" Apis translates. "The bird said the Navy's coming." Nami screams, "What?!" before looking down and seeing the soldiers at the bottom of the mountain. "Wow, they're faster than I thought...." you mutter.

"What're we going to do?!" Apis says looking at Nami. "We don't need to worry! We have these three!" She points at Luffy, Sanji and you. "Now then, Y/n, would you mind explaining how we're going to get down?" You were about to before your gaze follows down to a man that's very skinny, with pale purple hair slicked up. "That man.......He's really skinny!" you say a bit loud, before Nami slaps her hand over your mouth. "Don't yell! He'll hear you!!" she hisses.

Too late. The man turns his head and spots you. He notices your h/l h/c, your e/c eyes. He pulls out the poster, looking at them both, comparing. "No mistake about it. That brat and The Navy Weapon are up there." Some of the soldiers sneak up, hiding behind the rocks around you. Apis must've noticed too, as she jumps in front of Grandpa Ryu holding her arms out straight. "No! Don't shoot Grandpa Ryu!"

Grandpa Ryu stretches his wing over in front of Apis, to shield her. The Navy soldiers are now standing a few feet below you and the crew, guns pointed at the crew. He raises his neck, looking at the Navy soldiers, causing them to cry out in fear. "I knew that brat had something to do with the Millennial Dragon.....Though I didn't think I'd get to encounter a real live dragon. I don't care about the girl anymore."

The captain is nervous around the man, but ignores him as he gets ready to give the signal. "Fire!!!"

"NO!! STOP IT!!!" The Navy men fire their guns. Apis tries to run in front of Grandpa Ryu, to protect him, but Luffy gets there first, as the bullets hit him, but he bounces them back. "Don't work!" Your jaw literally falls to the ground. "EEHHHH?!?!?!"

"Hm? Oh yeah, I guess you didn't know! Bullets don't work on me!"

"So you have the power of a Devil Fruit."

Luffy turns to look at the man. You look at him too, and shudder. He was creepy. "That's right. I'm a rubber person." "Use swords! Guns don't work against rubber!" The captain orders.

The Navy men charge, swords in hand. You are about to beat them up, but Sanji gets there before you, doing a 180 kick on his hands, while Luffy uses his "Gatling Gun" move, knocking out all of the soldiers. You make a pouty face. "Sanji-san! Luffy! You guys didn't leave me any prey!!!"

"A lady shouldn't fight my ocean princess~!"

"Sorry Y/n! I'll save you some next time!"

"Pathetic. How can you call yourself the Navy?" Skinny walks up to you, Luffy and Sanji. One of the soldiers get up, but there is a quick swiping motion, and the soldier is down. "What was that?" Luffy says, being that it all happened so quick. Sanji was just as surprised. "A knife?" he guessed.

"How? We didn't see it." you say frowning. When he's finally close enough he stops walking. He still has a good 100 feet distance, but you decided to not point that out. He looks at you three, and when his eyes land on you, he smirks.

"My name is Eric the Whirlwind. I'm a mercenary hired by Nelson Royal. We don't have any business with you pirates. We have with that Millennial Dragon though. If you stand in my way, I'll make you a victim of my wind slash, the power of the Sickle-Sickle fruit."

You sweat drop. "It's not just me when he said Sicko-Sicko fruit, right?"

"Sicko?" Luffy repeats. You shrug looking away. "We'd better hurry this up."

"Hey you bastards! Are you listening to me?!" he yells making you sigh. "Yeah, yeah Eric the Sicko. Hey, tell me: Did you always look that sickening, or did the 'Sicko-Sicko Fruit' you ate help with that?"

Nami puts a hand over her mouth to try and stifle her laughter. Sanji snickers with Apis a bit, while Luffy bursts out laughing. "Good one Y/n!" You decide to play a little longer. "Huh? I'm just stating the simple fact. Oh yeah! Do you mind not coming any closer? I can feel your sicko- sicko disease from here!"

Nami and Apis can't hold it in anymore as they burst out laughing. You laugh harder than them, but Luffy wins for rolling on the ground, clutching his stomach. "Ohh, that was good Y/n!"

"Y/n-chan is so beautiful when she cracks jokes~" Sanji says, with a sigh of love. Eric's eye twitches. "You idiots! I said sickle, not sicko. SICKLE!! As in cutting!" You pretend to stop laughing. "Okay okay, listen we're sicko talking about this!"

Once again, laughter. Eric's face is totally red from anger. You notice that even the captain is snickering a bit. Eric faces him, sending a glare his way. He clears his throat, and stops. You help Luffy up, then bow. "Thank you, thank you. I'll be here forever folks!"

Eric calms down when he hears that. He smirks, looking at you. "I wouldn't say that, Y/f/n" You shudder at the way he says your name. It gives you chills. "Hope you won't regret making me angry." He points out his pointer and middle finger on his right hand. "Sickle-Sickle....."

In a quick motion he moves his fingers up and down, blowing on them, then swipes back and forth. "Whirlwind!" A wind passes by the three of you, grazing Luffy's arm, Sanji's shoulder, and your left cheek. "What was that?!"

"A wind slash, huh?" You touch your cheek, as it stings from the cut. Sanji is clutching his shoulder in pain, Luffy doing the same with his forearm. "The winds I create are as sharp as legendary swords. No matter how trained you are, it's easy for me to cut you apart."

Apis looks at you three, worried. She looks up at Nami. "Aren't we going yet?!" Nami shakes her head. "Not yet!"

"Now, out of my way! Hand over the Millennial Dragon- oh and the Navy Weapon too!" Luffy tilts his head confused. "'Navy Weapon'?" he repeats. Sanji narrows his eyes. "What're you talking about?"

"We don't have any Navy Weapon!" Nami shouts. Eric looks directly at you. "Oh? Looks like you haven't told them, have you?" You turn away, feeling everyone's gaze on you. Luffy is the first to respond. "You mean Y/n?"

"If that's what you refer it to." he says smugly. Sanji grabs your shoulder, pulling you toward him protectively. "You're not touching my lovely ocean princess y/n-chan~!!" he yells with a sudden fire in his spirit. "That was a mouthful...." you mutter.

"Hand them both over." Eric repeats. "No way!" Luffy yells sticking out his tongue. "Do you wanna experience the Sickle-Sickle Whirlwind again?" "Nami-san!!" Apis shakes her arm furiously. Nami sighs with relief seeing the ship. "Finally! Luffy! Sanji-kun! Y/n! Do whatever, 'it' is!"

"Yes Nami-swan~" You three run back up to them, and you order what to do. "Sanji-san! Push the cart off the mountain!" Sanji grabs the back of the cart, hearts dancing in his eyes. "Yes y/n-chan~ Nami-swan, y/n-chan I'll be your love catapult~!"

You are going to help Sanji, until you feel Luffy's arm stretch over, grabbing your waist, and pulling you to him. He sits you down next to him on top of Grandpa Ryu. "Hey, Y/n!" he grins. "Luffy? Shouldn't I help Sanji-san?"

"No, my princess should not do this! I am your love catapult!" Sanji kicks the rock behind him, sending the cart down the hill. Apis holds down on the cart and her hat for dear life. You have your arms in the air and Sanji jumps on quickly.

"GYAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Nami and Apis scream.

"Yahoo!!"

"So fast!" you say laughing.

"I won't let you escape! Sickle-Sickle..." Luffy winds back his fist, but you stop him. "My turn! Water Slicer!"

"Whirlwind!"

You both release your attacks at the same time, as they clash. Your water attack is blown away and the wind dies. Eric jumps out of the way to avoid the cart, but watches as you guys speed down the mountain. As you continue, you notice there is a rock ahead. "We're gonna hit the rock!" Apis cries. Nami gasps as she sees it too. "Y/n! Luffy!"

"Water Gatling!/Gum-Gum Gatling!" The rock is turned into much smaller rocks. Sanji kicks the ones out of yours and Nami's way, to avoid hitting you. Grandpa Ryu flicks the rocks with his tail to protect Apis. Apis is panicking. "Tree!"

You duck to avoid, but Luffy's head hits it, as his neck stretches back. He starts to fall off Grandpa Ryu, but you pull him back. He stretches back, hitting you in the head. 'That was close....."

Your eye twitches in annoyance as your head was throbbing now. "Yeah! Be careful!" Apis calms down a bit, and lets out a laugh with you and Luffy, enjoying the ride. "Yoo-hoo!"

Meanwhile..............

"Y/n said to meet by this cape, right?" Zoro asks looking down at Mist who seemed to be very off. "Yeah, um, I better go now! Bye!" Mist swims off, leaving the Going Merry. "O-O-Oi! What was that about?! Darn, Mist forgot one of the ships behind us!"

"Well, we have no choice but to make a raid- WHA?!" Zoro looks to see you waving at him, as you are racing down the mountain on the cart with the crew and Grandpa Ryu. "Hi Zorooo!!"

You guys slide off of the rock that looks like Usopp's nose, sending you flying into the Navy ship's mast, breaking it. As you get closer to the water, you use your power to slowly raise the water level and slow down the boat. You lay there with Luffy and Apis giggling.

Usopp shudders. "I....I-I am so glad I didn't go." Zoro was still in a bit of shock. "What a crazy plan that was!" Apis nods, sitting up on the raft. "Well, it worked!" Luffy grins sitting with his legs crossed. "Shishish! Yeah! It did! Fun plan Y/n!"

"How was that fun?! We nearly died!!" Nami yells pointing at you accusingly.

The soldiers were also in shock seeing your crew like this. "Go after them! After that ship!" the captain finally yelled. "W-we can't move because the sail's in our way!" one soldier said, after breaking out of the state of shock. Usopp ties the raft with Grandpa Ryu to the back of the Going Merry using rope. The rest of you had gotten off, but Apis was still sitting there with Grandpa Ryu. "That should do."

Nami looks to Luffy, "Luffy, we can leave any time now."

"Yosh! Set sail.......For Lost Island!"

Usopp sweat drops. "But which way?"

"This way? Hmmm, that way? Or maybe that way? Huhhhh?!" You laugh watching Luffy point in random directions. "Are we gonna be okay, when you're so unreliable?" Mist pops up next to the raft. "Probably not." You all stand at the front of the ship, looking out to the sea.

'This is great! A lost island, not on any map or sea chart, a Millennial Dragon, this is the best!' you thought giddily.

"Our destination: LOST ISLAND!!" Luffy shouts, pumping his fist in the air before the Going Merry continues their journey for Lost Island.
