Recap:

"It looks like the ship hasn't been moving for quite a while now." Zoro responds, noticing how the sail remained still. "Ahhhhh!!!!!! Dammit!!!" Nami suddenly screams. "What's wrong Nami-swan?"

"We've entered the Calm Belt!" the two of you yell in unison. "Charm Belt?" Usopp repeats. Luffy looks at the two of you confused. "What the heck is that?"

"Calm Belt! It's an area of sea where nothing moves a single muscle!" Nami explains, but Luffy keeps looking around the sea. "What? 'Nami grew her muscles?'" You then notice the ship starting to shake. Apis looks down at the water, as if she can hear something.

"What's that? An earthquake?!" Zoro shakes his head. "On the sea?" "Guys enough chit chat! Fold up the sail and get the ship back on it's path from earlier!"

"Okay Nami-swan!~"

"What're you panicking about? Paddling? This is a sailboat." Zoro reasons lazily, gesturing to the unmoving sail. Usopp nods in agreement. "He's right. Why would we go through the trouble of going back on the earlier path where the Navy is?"

"You guys! We need to get out of here now!" you warn, surprising Nami. "Y/n, you know about the Calm Belt?"

"Yeah, the Grand Line is running between two sea areas, and on both sides of them are called the Calm Belt. And no one knows why, but for some reason there's no wind or current to push the boat, right Nami?" Nami looks at you, eyes wide open. She jumps and hugs you tightly. "Thank goodness! I'm not the only smart one around here!"

You sweat drop at this, looking away. "Umm, thanks?" Luffy nods in "understanding." "I see. So we're in trouble then? Well we could always wait for the wind to come by again." You and Nami instantly smack Luffy on the head. "DIDN'T YOU HEAR WHAT Y/N JUST SAID?!"

"Well, the bad thing is that this area is known to have Sea Kings too...." you add, panicking Usopp. Suddenly the rocking starts again, until the ship is being lifted. When you look around, you're surrounded by enormous Sea Kings. Everyone is shocked, as they are huge. The ship was also resting on the head of a black and white striped one as well.

Nami is crying comical tears, while Usopp is clinging to the mast of the ship. You were in shock at the enormous size of the Sea Kings. "This is the nest of Sea Kings!! Another reason why people can't cross the Calm Belt...."

"W-what do we d-do now?" Usopp stutters in fear. Zoro was first to respond, just as shocked as the rest of the crew. "F-for now, nobody move. They should go back into the sea. When they do, we will paddle as hard as we can to get out of here."

"WHAT?! ARE YOU-" Nami slaps her hand over Usopp's mouth. "Shut up!" But it's too late. A large green frog comes hopping out of the water, and heading toward the ship. You then notice that Apis is right in front of it. She lets out a scream.

"Apis!" You run to Apis grabbing the girl and running out of the way. The frog narrowly misses you, and hops back into the water. You look down at Apis, who is in your arms. "Are you okay?!" She hugs you tightly. You flinch at first, but then return the hug. "Yeah, thank you Y/n!"

You look down in the water noticing a second shadow. "AAHH! ANOTHER SEA KING!!" Usopp sobs. You on the other hand just laugh. "Oh right! You guys don't know how big Mist is!"

Zoro looks at you irritated. "Huh? It's a damn dolphin, how big can it-"

Mist suddenly appears out of the water, knocking down the frog that tried to attack you before. Usopp lets out another high pitched scream, Nami hugging him. Zoro and Sanji are in total shock, as Mist is the same size as the Elephant Blue fin that Sanji had won at the cook off. "Hey Y/n!"

Mist waves with his fin to you as he tackles the frog down into the sea again. You wave back, but the second you do, the boat rocks and Apis goes flying again. Luffy catches her with his arm thankfully, stretching her up to the top of the boat, away from the danger. "Luffy! Do you have a Devil Fruit Power?!" she asks.

"Yeah!" Apis looks down at the sea monster the ship rests on, then gets an idea. "Can you stretch me back down?!" she asks and Luffy obeys, bringing his arm downward, as Apis swings near the Sea King's nostril, taking one of it's nose hairs. The Sea King's eyes water up, and starts to sneeze.

Nami's eyes widen. "W-wait a minute! If you do that-"

"He's gonna sneeze!" Sanji finishes. Luffy pulls Apis back, and Zoro catches her. You notice that the nose hair is going to fall on you and quickly move out of the way. Luffy just looks at it in awe. "Wow! That's a huge nose hair!"

"Everyone! Hang on tight!" You fasten yourself onto the boat, creating a small water chain. The Sea King sneezes, and everyone but you goes flying off the boat. "Oi! Do something Y/n!" Zoro yells.

"Wow! It's like we're flying!" Luffy laughs. "Hang on guys!" You create a Water Phoenix you used before on FullBody's men, scooping up everyone but Luffy of course. "Luffy! Grab my hand!"

You hold out your wrist, as Luffy grabs it. He pulls back onto the ship, and you gently land the bird on the boat. The boat soars over the Sea Kings and falls back into the normal sea you guys were in before. The bird spits everyone out, and then changes back to water. The crew launches into a coughing fit. "What *cough* the heck *cough* Y/n?!" Nami yells.

"You were *cough* supposed to help us! *cough*!" Usopp wheezes. You sweat drop watching everyone on the deck. "I did. You're on the ship now, right?" Zoro picks up a knocked out Apis. He shakes her around a bit. "Hey! She's a kid! Be gentle!" you scold.

Zoro deadpans, "You're hopeless." considering that you let a large water phoenix swallow her. Apis thankfully wakes up though, coughing up a bit of water. Luffy gives a thumb up to Apis. "Good job!"

"Thanks!" Then Luffy turns to you. He laughs, patting you on the head. "You too, Y/n!" You blush lightly at the gesture. "No problem Captain!"

"Glad you guys're all right." The crew falls silent seeing Mist standing by the boat, however in a much regular size. They then remember how large he grew. "GYAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! MONSTER!!!!!!!!" They all scream, only for Mist to shout back, "HEY! HOW RUDE!!"

"You guys!" you frown at their behavior. "Mist was born that way!" Zoro makes a small 'gah' sound. "Really?!" "Yeah, he was kicked out of his pod for that, so stop being so mean!" "Is that the winged fruit you told us about y/n-chan?" Sanji asks. "Oh yeah! That weird fruit you told us about!" Luffy jumps in, surprising you that he even remembered.

Nami raises an eyebrow, staring at the three of you. "Huh? I don't remember this...." You grimace, you knew that only Sanji and Luffy knew. To be honest, you wanted to keep it that way, but you were part of the crew now, so you shouldn't keep it a secret from everyone, right? "I'll tell you guys about it."

"They ate something called the winged fruit. It's like a Devil Fruit, except it gives those who don't have the ability to speak, like Mist the ability to talk. If the person or thing already can talk, then that power isn't given since it's not needed." Nami was shocked. She'd never heard of something like this. "Wow......."

Zoro, Usopp and Nami all come more forward, new to this information. "So then, it's a type of Devil Fruit?" You shake your head. "No, it's like the opposite of a Devil Fruit; since you don't lose the ability to swim. But it can also enhance their animals sense. Mist has speed and because he is a sea creature, he can also link his mind to mine."

"Which is why your eyes went white!" Apis says in awe. You giggle, patting Apis's head gently. "Yeah, that's why my eyes went white. But, now that you all know, you can't tell anyone. Ever."

"Wait, are you saying that the Navy doesn't know this either?!" Nami gasped. "T-T-That's some dangerous s-s-s-stuff if the Navy doesn't know about it!!!" Usopp stutters, wondering how you'd managed to stay away from them this long.

Mist shrugs. "We're fine. We've avoided the Navy for years, and they still haven't learned about the fruit!" Luffy hums, nodding a few times before proceeding with orders. "Yosh! Unfurl the sails! Our destination; Warship Island!"

You and Zoro unfurl the sails, heading in the direction of Warship Island, but as you get closer, there seems to be some fog. "We can't see anything...." you mutter. "Well, we can see the fog!" Luffy says, everyone now gathered at the front of the ship. Sanji looks down at the small female sitting on your shoulders. "Apis, is it really around here?"

"Not sure."

"'Not sure'?" you repeat. "We're almost there." Nami says, in an attempt to calm everyone down. "That's our Nami-swaaaan~" "Ah- Look!" Apis points forward and you see the shadow of what appears to be a large sailboat. You instantly realize that it's a warship.

"Whoa!! It's like a large sailboat!" Luffy says in awe. "The word "large" doesn't even begin to describe it." Zoro mutters. Everyone's eyes fall onto Mist, who is swimming next to the boat. When he realizes all eyes are on him, two tick marks appear on his forehead. "What the hell are you looking at me for?!? It's obviously Warship Island!!!"

"The seal is right!" Apis declares. "I'M A DOLPHIN!!!" he hisses. Apis doesn't hear this. "See? It's shaped like a warship!" she says happily, and you could feel her getting restless on your shoulders, so you let the female down. When you land on the island, you notice there are a group of villagers, that look ready to take you on. You tap on Nami's shoulder. "Maybe Apis should go down first."

Nami looks at the villagers, then nods. She has you lower down the ladder for Apis to climb down. When the villagers see her, they lose some of their tension from before. "Hi! I'm home!"

"Apis.......!"

"Why are you coming out from that pirate ship?"

"What's going on?"

Nami and Luffy go down first, followed by Sanji, then you. On the last step though, you slip and fall. You brace yourself to hit the ground, but Sanji catches you. "Are you okay my ocean princess?!"

"Yeah, thanks Sanji-san!" You hop out of his arms, and stand next to Luffy. "Wow, you let that perv touch you." Nami whispers in your ear, standing next to you on the opposite side of Luffy. "Not really. I mean, I almost fell."

You watch as Zoro and Usopp come down after. Mist swims back where the water isn't so shallow. "Say, you guys...." The villagers tense up, scared of what Luffy's going to say. "W-what is it?!"

"Is there a barbecue restaurant on this island?" Nami smacks her forehead.You on the other hand, your mouth is watering at the thought of fresh barbecue. The villagers look at each other confused. "Huh?" "W-what is this guy?" Apis speaks up. "Listen! They're pirates, but good ones!"

"Come to think of it, weren't you taken by the Navy in the first place.......?" one villager questions. "That's right. And I escaped. And these guys, Luffy and the others, saved me. Right?"

Luffy nods. "Yeah."

"You should stay away from your home. They're still around." Apis lets out a small cry of sadness. "What am I gonna do?" The villagers couldn't help but feel bad for the small girl. "We'd like to help, but......." The villagers turn to you guys. "They're pirates, right?"

Apis groans. "Ahhh, what should we do?" Usopp tries to persuade the villagers. "Like she said, we're good pirates."

"Apis! Come to my house!"

You look between the crowd of villagers and see an old man with a cane. He has a brown robe and a white hat, as you observed all of the villagers wear, with a blue shirt underneath. His cane also has a skull with horns at the top. Apis runs up to the old man, her face lit up. "Grandpa Bokuden!"

She gives the old man a hug, he chuckles. "I'm glad to see you're safe. Thank you for saving Apis. How about this? I'd like to throw a small welcome party for you." Luffy hums. "Is it a barbecue restaurant?" Apis giggles at Luffy's childish question. "It's not a barbecue restaurant, but Grandpa Bokuden's pork buns are the best on the island!"

Hearing this, Luffy's mouth waters. "Yes! Let's go!"

And now here you all were, sat in a semi-circle on the ground, with the wooden basket on a small burner in the center of the room. It was a pretty basic and small hut, which was to be expected after all. Bokuden places the lid on a wooden basket, with the pork buns inside cooking. "There, the preparations are finished. Wait a little while." Luffy's eyes lit up at the small wooden basket. "So cool!" you let out a sigh. "Smells delicious!"

Sanji looks impressed. "I see, this is the real deal. Old man, how long do we have to wait?"

"Hm.....about 4-5 hours." Luffy's jaw hits the floor. "HUH?!" "Ahhhhhh, I'm starving!" you cry, already hearing your stomach growl at the thought of pork buns. Usopp sighs, disappointed at the both of you. "Oh yeah, old man, why is the Navy after Apis? Do you have an idea?"

"Apis! Do you have any idea?" Bokuden asks. "Not at all!" Apis answers quickly. Nami's eye twitches. "You said there was a reason that you couldn't tell!" Apis hums, "Oh that! I lied!" Bokuden nods. "Really, there's nothing on this island. Nothing but an old legend." Zoro raises an eyebrow. "Legend?"

"The residents of this island are said to be descendants of Lost Island people who prospered but sank into the sea tens of thousands of years ago. On Lost Island there lived dragons called Millennial dragons. The bones of those dragons are called Dragonite, and it's said to-"

'Dragonite?? Why do I feel like I've heard that word before....?'

You hear Bokuden talking about some kind of three kings thing. You look and see Apis trying to sneak away. She catches your eye, telling you 'shh!' as she continues to sneak away. "One day he said to these three; "Listen! Go find the tree that grows stars, which is said to be in a Dragon Valley blah blah blah blah blah"

Your eyes grow heavy, and you lean on Sanji's shoulder by accident, causing him to squeal with excitement. He then realizes he's smoking, and immediately puts out his cigarette. He leans his head against yours. Zoro was already asleep, until he couldn't smell Sanji's cigarette. He saw you against his shoulder and pulled you away. He rested your head on his chest, wrapping his arms protectively around you. Sanji notices and gets irked. "Let go of y/n-chan Marimo!" he whispers, not wanting to wake his ocean princess.

"Shut up! Don't touch her you perverted cook!" he whispers back.

The two men growl, fighting over you. You stir slightly and they stop, not wanting to wake you up. Sanji gives up, crying comical tears as he has to listen to Bokuden. Zoro looks at you and smiles. He missed seeing you like this; calm and peaceful. He smirks going back to sleep.

Nami groans, realizing what they've gotten themselves into. "We're not gonna eat until this story is finished are we?" Usopp now understood why you and Luffy were panicking earlier. "I'm starving...." Luffy gets up, walking past you and Zoro. He accidentally bumps you, causing you to wake up.

Sanji looks at the male. "Where're you going, Luffy?" "I gotta take a leak." he says not facing the blonde cook. You watch Luffy, but then he heads off to where the pork buns are. You smell them too, and jump up after him. "Pork buns......."

Luffy is getting closer. You yawn walking behind him. Except, when you get inside, Luffy is collapsed on the floor, with a pork bun resting on his cheek. You get irritated and kick Luffy. He lets out a wheeze, the pork bun dropping in his mouth. "NO WAY!!"

You look inside, trying to find the pork buns or even just one, but they're all gone. "YOU MEANIE!!!" you cry. Luffy stands up, now confused. "What's wrong?" You cry comical tears smacking Luffy on the head. "You ate them all!!!"

Luffy shakes his head furiously. "What're you talking about?"

"Look you ate them- Huh? What's this?" You look down at the ground, and in the dirt, there is a long trail leading out toward the forest. "What made this trail?" Luffy and you decide to follow it, walking through a forest grove until it leads to a large rocky cliff. "Dead end?" Luffy wonders aloud.

"Oh look!" You look down and behind the bushes you see a small hole. Luffy crawls in front of you and you follow after. When you reach the other end, you keep walking until the path leads to the end of the rocky cliff. You notice the path continues on the other side, and there is quite a large gap. But then you see the small stream of water below. "Okay, this'll work. I'll just create a small water path for us to-"

"Gum-Gum-" You gasp, shutting your eyes tightly and preparing to be thrown across, but when you look down, Luffy has stretched his arms and legs to reach both ends. "Suspension Bridge." You let out a sigh of relief, crossing Luffy's "suspension bridge". When you've crossed, Luffy stretches back, and walks with you. "This is the other side of the mountain......."

"How far does it go?" he frowns. You look ahead and notice a cave. You turn to Luffy, and he nods. The two of you walk in, and as you get deeper, you think it's your imagination, but you can hear Apis. "Yes I was fine. These weird pirates saved me. No they're not that scary. You must be hungry. I brought Grandpa Bokuden's pork buns! Here you go. No slow down! Oh I'm sorry, I don't know yet. Although I'm searching very hard, I still haven't found a clue yet."

"I wonder who Apis is talking to...." you whisper. Luffy walks into the light, where Apis can see him, waving his arm. "Hey, Apis! Who're you talking to?" You move away from your hiding spot, seeing there was no use in hiding. "Don't just jump out and casually say 'Hey!'" you scold.

Apis holds out her arms, backing away. "NO! Don't come here!" she yells. "Huh? What's wrong Apis?" Luffy gets closer and lets out a gasp when he sees what Apis is hiding. You step out, walking toward the two. "What's the matter Luffy?"

You gasp when you see the large, green furred dragon. "Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!" Luffy cheers. "I said stop it!" Apis yells. You can't control the urge anymore. You have stars in your eyes as you jump up and down, then run to get a closer look. "SO COOL!!!"

You jump around with Luffy, petting it's soft fur. Apis tries to pull you two off, but failing. "It's so soft....." you say in pure bliss."Is this the real thing?! Is he alive?!" Luffy asks, only irritating Apis. "Stop it! Leave him alone!"

Luffy makes eye contact with the dragon, and suddenly quiets down. Apis does too. "I see.........You wanna go home, huh?" Apis gasps, then nods. "Grandpa Ryu says you can be his friend, Luffy. He says he can tell you're a good person."

"Wait a minute! You guys can understand him?!" gasp in shock. Apis nods. "Yeah, how did you read his mind, Luffy?" Luffy merely shrugs. "I somehow did." You facepalm. "Somehow?! Well, what about you Apis?"

Apis sweats nervously, tugging at the collar of her dress nervously. "Oh...well.....I-" You sigh, knowing the answer. "You ate a Devil Fruit, didn't you?" Apis paused at first before nodding. "Yes, I think it was called the Whisper-Whisper Fruit. And ever since then, I've been able to talk to animals."

"So that's how you could tell there was a strong current coming! Wait a second-" You let out a scream, remembering something. "W-what's wrong?!"

"Does that mean almost drowned you when my Water Phoenix swallowed you?!" Apis sweat drops, remembering how she indeed almost died. "Well, you didn't know y/n....." You start bowing furiously, shameful that you almost killed Apis. "I am so so so so so so so so so SORRY!!!"

"Shishishi! You're pretty dumb sometimes aren't you Y/n?" You smack Luffy on the head, then kick him over and over again. "So mean!" "I widn't mwean wit!" (I didn't mean it!) "Yes you did, so now I'm not talking to you!" You huff, turning around and crossing your arms. Apis and Grandpa Ryu just sweat drop at you. 'She's such a kid!' they thought at the same time.

You turn your attention back to Apis, ignoring Luffy. Though, you had to admit it took all of your willpower. "So.....With your power, that's how you found him I'm guessing?" you ask. "Yeah. I'd never heard such a sad voice before.... He had lost his energy. He said he got separated from his friends and that since then he had been looking for Lost Island, where the dragons' nest is."

"Lost Island? Didn't it sink a long time ago?" you sit down on a nearby rock, and Apis does the same. "Grandpa Ryu said the island would resurface again. He says it's about time, but he no longer remembers clearly where it is. He's gotten very old, and lost his energy to fly. But he keeps telling me he wants to go back. I wanna help, but I can't figure out where such an island exists at all..... The legend itself doesn't give me a clue. So I asked the Navy who happened to stop by this island about it."

You clench your fist. 'There's no way the Navy would tell. If anything, they would just want the Dragonite!' "That was a mistake. They were looking for Dragonite."

"They wanted immortality?" Apis jumps at the bitterness in your voice but nods. "Yeah, they told me to tell them everything I knew, and took me away."

"That greedy Navy!" Luffy sees the tension in your fist, and goes over to comfort you. But, forgets that you are ignoring him. "You okay, Y/n?" he asks, his attention now focused on you. However, you did not forget and remain silent.

"Y/n?"

"........."

"Y/n?"

"........."

"Y/n?!"

"........."

"Y/N!!!!!"

"........."

​​​"Oi! Answer me you meanie!"

"........."

"Makino told me you're ticklish..." Your eyes widen as you try to run away from Luffy, but grabs you. "Guess it's true!" He starts tickling you side, and you can't help but start laughing. You have tears in your eyes. "S-Stop Luffy! I-I can't-breathe!" you giggle.

"Shishishishi! Say you won't ignore me!" he says, not appearing to stop any time soon. "Okay okay I surrender!" Luffy grins. "Okay, then just a little longer." You continue laughing, but gasp when he touches your scar on your right side. You pull away from him immediately. He looks confused, back at you. "What's wrong Y/n?"

"... It's nothing. Apis, is there anything else you need to tell us?" When you look over at Apis, she is giggling and whispering to Grandpa Ryu. When she hears you calling her, she clears her throat. "Well, none of the villagers, not even Grandpa Bokuden knows about it. I don't want to cause trouble for them. But I want to get Grandpa Ryu back to his home, no matter what it takes. He always tells me he'll get his energy back for sure if he gets back to the dragons' nest. I'll find it for him, no matter how many years it takes!"

"Yosh! Okay then! I'll take him there! Sound good, Y/n?" Luffy turns to you, now standing and you do the same. "Well, if the Millennial dragon exists, I don't see why Lost Island isn't somewhere! Let's do it! An island that's not on the map? What the heck!"

Apis gasps, feeling her hope being lifted once again. "Really?! Really?! Thank you!!"

"Now that that's done, let's eat!" Luffy grabs one of the pork buns and holds it out to Grandpa Ryu. You grab two and stuff them in your mouth quickly so Apis and Luffy don't notice. "Oh Luffy! I forgot to tell you!"

Grandpa Ryu closes his mouth, half of Luffy's body in his mouth, while his lower half is kicking and thrashing.Apis sweat drops seeing she was too late. "Grandpa Ryu is a little senile."

You gasp but then laugh at the sight, choking on a piece of your pork bun. You start coughing, but manage to clear your throat. "Pull me out!" he yells muffled.

You sigh as you go over and start pulling on Luffy's legs. Finally Grandpa Ryu lets Luffy go and he comes out. Luffy rolls onto the ground next to you, and you laugh once more. Luffy hears this and sits up right away, not meeting your gaze, feeling his chest tighten.

Apis looks over at Grandpa Ryu and giggles. "They're so in love~"
