It was the next day and everyone was at the dojo. Apparently there's an all valley tournament coming up and Emma was beyond nervous. She was still shockingly bad at karate. She needed to improve or she would just be making a fool out of herself Infront of everyone at the tournament.
Emma was the first one there. She was practicing her punches on a dummy.
" Hey princess" hawk came in and saw her fist fighting the dummy.
" Hey" she replied.
Hawk looked at her for a few minutes.
" Hey stop your going to break your hand if you keep punching like that" hawk said grabbing her hand.
" Your thumb should be here like this" he put her hand in the correct position.
Then he went behind her and moved her arm to show her the right punches.
"Alright now try by yourself" hawk said. Emma thought he could be a good Sensei or maybe he's just good at being nice to her.
She did it and this time did it properly.
" You got it" hawk said happily.
" Thanks" Emma smiled.
The two stood there looking at each other lovingly. It was almost like they were going to kiss but Emma moved her head. Yes she wanted to kiss hawk but they still barely know each other.
" Hey princess I have a question" he said kinda nervously.
" What is it" Emma asked interested.
She's never seen hawk nervous. It was kinda cute.
" Do you want to go on a date with me tonight" he asked trying to sound confident but failing miserably.
Emma felt excitement take over her body. This was like a dream come true.
" Of course" she replied excitedly.
Hawks face lit up. It was almost like he was expecting to get rejected. He never imagined himself going on a date. Not as Eli not even as hawk. He's still very insecure but he doesn't want anybody to know that especially not Emma who has no idea about Eli and the way he used to get bullied.
" Great. Well what about we go to golf n stuff and I'll pick you up roundabout 8" he asked more confidently now.
" Sounds great" Emma smiled.
During class they kept glancing at each other cutely. It was becoming more obvious to everyone that was there they had feelings for each other.
After class Emma rushed out. She wants to look perfect for Eli especially considering this is her first date and she's glad it's with someone like Eli.
