Emma made her way home after school and got ready to go to cobra Kai for the first time when she received a message from hawk.
" Hey I'm on my way to your house" hawk said with a heart at the end of the message.
Emma blushed at the heart. She knew they just met but there was definitely already a spark between them.
After a couple of minutes she heard hawk honking his horn and she ran out straightaway.
" Hey princess" he said as she buckled her seatbelt.
Emma blushed again at the nickname.
" Hey hawk" she replied.
The pair drove there. Hawk was preparing her for what was going to happen. He did tell her she might have to fight someone to get in which made Emma worry but hawk told her everyone is still pretty new and not that good so she'll be fine.
When they arrived she saw a room full of people. Miguel being one of them. He was stood beside a girl with glasses.
" Hey Emma what's up? Hey hawk"he said doing a handshake with hawk.
" Hey I'm Aisha" Aisha said shaking her hand.
" Oh it's nice to meet you I'm Emma" she replied politely.
The 3 of them were just stretching and talking until a blonde man came out and screamed " quiet" really loudly making Emma jump slightly but all of the rest of then seemed used to it.
"Who's this" he asked approaching Emma.
" This is Emma she wants to try out for cobra Kai"hawk said answering for Emma.
" Can't talk for yourself Emma?"he said.
Emma wanted to be confident because everyone else seemed to be so she tried answering confidently.
" I'm Emma and I want to try out for cobra Kai" she said not confidently at all. She stuttered a lot too.
" Alright you can prove that by taking on Aisha" he said.
Emma became even more nervous. Aisha was much bigger than her and could probably squash her considering how skinny Emma is.
"Go easy on her"hawk whispered into Aishas ear. He doesn't want her to get hurt.
Aisha nodded and approached her.
" Fight" johnny yelled.
Aisha instantly ran towards her and punched her but Emma ran to the other side. Emma tried to punch her next but Aisha grabbed her arm and kicked her in the stomach making her fall to the floor in pain. Emma knew about kicking people's legs while they're not looking so she tried that but Aisha saw it coming and moved out of the way.
" Are you okay" hawk came running to Emma's side.
" Yeah I'm good just she's quite a good puncher" Emma laughed off her pain.
Hawk helped her up.
" I've seen worse. Your in" johnny said.
" Yay" she said smiling happily. She didn't think she was going to get in after her going down that quickly.
" See I told you it would be fine" hawk said.
Emma smiled at him and he returned the smile.
The rest of the class everyone was practicing punches. Emma basically watched what everyone else was doing and copied.
After she left when hawk shouted her name.
"Hey do you want to hang out tonight" he asked kinda timidly.
Emma laughed at how cute he was when he sounded shy not knowing how shy he used to be yet.
"Of course I would love to"she smiled.
Hawk looked relieved like he was relieved she wasn't saying no.
" Right well there's a party tonight do you want me to pick you up again and take you" he asked.
Emma nodded.
" Okay well it starts at 8 so I'll pick you up then okay" he said.
"Okay see you then" Emma yelled at him while walking away.
She rushed home to get ready even though she has hours but she wants to look her best for hawk.
