The world I'm in is so....dark. The frost nips at my nose. I was somewhere I had never been and probably shouldn't be. My body is numb and I can't move. It was terrifying.

"Where am I?" My mouth whispers. Silence. I hadn't ever heard this kind of silence. Where not even your breath makes a noise. It was killing me.

The hours after that were a blur. Completely mushed together, the the point were I couldn't remember if I had started crying a second ago or hours ago. It was the most numbing pain I had ever felt. My body felt like it was melting, though not losing its solid form. I just wanted this all the be over. I regretted everything.

I shouldn't have went through that portal. Look where it got me—I'm in more pain the I have been in my whole existence. And Aphmau—my mouth went dry instantly.

"Aphmau!" I screamed. My ears rang with her name. Oh Irene, what did I do? I needed to get back to her. I needed her more than ever.

I try and move. My body is stiff and despite my efforts, I can only move slowly. And then, then something unexplainable happens. I feel my eyes flicker shut. And when they open, I'm behind her.

Aphmau's hair is whipping back through the harsh wind. Her body is glowing increasingly. Her voice is whispering hateful words to the women in front of her. It's Irene, I could tell. I had never seen such hate in Aphmau's voice before. Not when she first hated me. Not while she loved me. Never.

Irene's eyes scan over me.

"I have done my job." Then she's gone. Aphmau stands there, puzzled. I don't know what to say. She obviously doesn't know I'm there. So I make her aware.

"I'm so sorry."
