Several days after Hagrid came back there was a breakout at Azkaban and it was all anyone was talking about. Danny, Ron, and Hermione were walking into the great hall for breakfast and Hermione spoke. "Dumbledore warned Fudge this could happen, he's going to get us all killed because he can't face the truth."

Seamus spoke as they walked by, "Danny." Danny stopped and he swore if Seamus was trying to start a fight he would punch him, he turned and looked at Seamus. "I, uh, I wanted to apologize, now even my mum says the Prophets version of things don't add up, so what I'm really trying to say is that I believe you."

Danny thought for a second before walking up to Seamus and holding his hand out, "I rarely do this and it'll probably never happen again."

Seamus shook his hand, hours later Danny was in the room of requirement and Neville was staring into the mirror. Danny walked over, "You okay Neville?"

Neville was silent for a minute, "Fourteen years ago a death eater named Bellatrix Lestrange used the cruciatus curse on my parents. She tortured them for information but they never gave in, I'm quite proud to be their son, but I'm not sure I'm ready for everyone to know just yet."

Danny nodded, "Your secrets safe with me." Danny was silent for a second, "I'm sure you'll make them proud too."

That night Danny was teaching everyone to make a patronus, "Make it a powerful memory, the happiest you can ever remember being." Danny looked at Seamus, "You'll get it Seamus, just keep trying." Danny walked up to the twins, "George, your turn to try."

George waved his wand, "Expecto patronum."

A bit of light came from his wand but that was about it, Danny patted him on the shoulder before continuing to walk around. "Full body patronuses are incredibly difficult to produce but the shield form is still useful." Ginny tried making a patronus and she succeeded, her patronus was a horse, "Nice one Ginny!"

"But remember, you patronus can only protect you as long as you stay focused." Danny saw Luna, "Stay focused Luna."

Hermione tried and hers was an otter, Danny walked up to Neville, "Think of something that makes you really happy."

Neville tried and it didn't really work, "I'm trying."

"I know, your doing great, you'll get there in the end." Ron tried and his was a dog, Luna's was a bunny and it hopped around the room, Danny smiled, "That's what I'm talking about!"

All of a sudden the room started to shake and the lights flickered, Danny walked toward the wall where the door was and the glass shattered. There was a hole in the wall and Nigel looked through it, Danny gently moved him out of the way to see what was going on. Umbridge was on the other side and she spoke, "I'll make short work of this."

Nigel looked again and Danny grabbed him to get him out of the way as Umbridge pointed her wand at the wall. "Bombarda maxima."

The wall completely brew up and Umbridge was standing there with the inquisitorial squad behind her. Malfoy pulled Cho into view, Umbridge spoke, "Get them."

The events that came about after that were chaotic, he wasn't sure who got out or if anyone was hurt, he just knew he was one of the people that got caught. He was soon brought to Dumbledore's office and Umbridge was holding the list of names they made. Umbridge was talking, "I've been watching them for weeks and see, Dumbledore's army, proof of what I've been telling you right from the beginning Cornelius."

Percy practically drug Danny and Cho inside and once they stopped Danny threw Percy's hand off him, he was pissed. Umbridge continued, "All your fear mongering about you-know-who never fooled us for a minute. We saw your lies for what they were, a smokescreen for you bid to seize control of the Ministry."

Dumbledore spoke, "Naturally."

Danny spoke, "No, he didn't have anything to do with it, it was me."

Dumbledore looked at him, "Most noble of you Danny to shield me, but as it's been pointed out the parchment clearly says Dumbledore's army, not Phantom's. I instructed Danny to form this organization and I, and I alone, am responsible for it's activity."

Fudge spoke, "Dispatch an owl to the Daily Prophet, if we hurry we should still make the morning addition. Dawlish, Shacklebolt, you will escort Dumbledore to Azkaban to await trial for conspiracy and sedition."

They moved closer to Dumbledore and the older man spoke, "Ah, I thought we might hit this little snag." Dumbledore moved behind his desk, "You seem to be laboring under the delusion that I'm going to, what was the phrase, come quietly. Well I can tell you this, I have no intention of going to Azkaban."

Umbridge spoke, "Enough of this, take him!"

Dumbledore winked at Danny before Fawkes flew over, when Dumbledore clapped his hands the two burst into flame. A wave of what seemed to be a strong wind knocked them all back and they disappeared.

Everyone that had fallen stood up and Kingsley spoke, "Well, you may not like it Minister but you can't deny, Dumbledore's got style."

The next day Filch hung up another proclamation, one that stated that Umbridge had replaced Dumbledore. Loud speakers were put all around the school to broadcast Umbridge's rules all day, Filch took down all the portraits, and Danny was pissed. Everyone that had been part of Dumbledore's army was forced to write lines with Umbridge's damn quills.

Umbridge looked pretty pleased with the scene as she drank her tea and the halfa was surprised Death hadn't attacked her yet. The specter was showing a great deal of restraint, likely for Danny's benefit, as they were forced to write lines. When they were finally allowed to leave Cho was outside and no one was happy to see her, he couldn't blame them.

Danny was the last one to walk out and Cho walked up to him, "Danny-."

He didn't stick around to hear what she had to say, he walked past her and Death seemed mad, "I don't like her."

"Which one?"

"Either of them."

Danny couldn't argue with that, he didn't like them either, he walked to the Gryffindor dorms without looking back. The next day he was walking with Ron and Hermione on the bridge and Ron spoke, "You did everything you could, no one can win against that old hag."

Hermione spoke, "Even Dumbledore didn't see this coming, Danny if it's anyone's fault it's ours."

Ron spoke, "Yeah, we talked you into it."

Danny looked over the side of the bridge, "And I agreed to it, every time I try to help I fuck it up." Danny sighed, "But it doesn't matter anymore, I don't want to keep trying, it's just better to-."

Hermione cut him of, "To what?"

Danny took a breath, "To do it alone." Before Ron or Hermione could respond they heard a 'psst' sound, like someone was trying to get their attention. The three turned toward the sound and they spotted Hagrid, Danny looked confused, "Hagrid?"

Some time later they found themselves being led into the woods by Hagrid and Ron spoke, "Do you have any idea where he's taking us?"

Danny glanced at Ron before looking at Hagrid, "Hagrid, why don't you just tell us?"

They then heard what sounded like a horse and Death spoke, "They're coming."

Danny was going to ask who but Hagrid soon stopped and the three did as well before the centaurs ran past, they didn't seem happy. Hagrid spoke, "I've never seen the centaurs more riled, and they're dangerous at the best of times. The ministry restricts their territory much more they're gonna have a full up[rising on their hands."

Hermione spoke, "Hagrid, what's going on?"

"I'm sorry to be so mysterious you three, I wouldn't be bothering you at all with it but with Dumbledore gone..." He seemed to choke up for a second, "I'll likely be getting the sack any day now and I just couldn't leave without telling someone about him."

They then heard some sort of rumbling as the ground shook a bit and a giant stood up not too far away. Hagrid spoke, "Grawpy, down here you great buffoon." The giant, or Grawpy apparently, turned around and seemed to be watching some birds, he then took a step or two closer to the group and tried to catch a bird.

Hagrid lightly scolded the giant, "Grawpy." He took a second to breathe, "I bought you some company." The giant then looked at them and ran toward them, they backed up and a rope tied around Grawpy's waist stopped him from going any further. Hagrid looked at them, "I couldn't just leave him because-because he's my brother."

Ron spoke, "Blimey."

Hagrid continued, "Well half brother really." The giant leaned closer to them, "He's completely harmless just like I said, just a little high spirited is all."

Hermione stepped back and she was about to trip when the Grawpy suddenly picked her up and she screamed. Hagrid shouted, "Grawpy, that is not polite!"

Ron shouted, "Hagrid do something!"

Hagrid continued speaking to Grawpy, "We've talked about this, you do not grab do you, that's your new friend Hermione." Ron grabbed a tree branch and tried hitting Grawpy on the leg with it but it just broke and the giant kicked him away. "Grawpy!"

Hermione shouted sternly, "Grawp!" That got the giants attention, "Put me down, now."

Grawpy paused before putting her down and Ron looked at her as Grawpy turned away, "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine." She looked at Grawpy, "Just needs a firm hand is all."

Danny spoke, "I think he likes you."

Grawpy started going through some stuff and Ron spoke, "You just stay away from her, alright?"

Grawpy took something out, it like like the handles of a bike, and he rang the bell in the bars. He smiled when he heard the sound and held it out to Hermione, she took and and she didn't seem to know what to do with it. After a few seconds of Grawpy staring at her she rang the bell and Grawpy smiled, Ron looked a little mad.

Harid spoke, "He gets his own food and all, it's company he'll be needing when I'm gone, you will look after him won't you, I'm the only family he's got."

The three agreed, later that night he was in Snape's office and thankfully because he wasn't tired he could easily keep Snape out of his mind. When Snape used the spell again his head was starting to hurt and his concentration broke for a split second. He felt electricity burning him from the inside out, he yelled from the pain, but he managed to cast Snape out before he could fully grasp the scene.

While Snape had seen some of Danny's memories Danny had seen some of Snape's, ones from when he was in school. Danny saw his father bully Snape, now he knew he really shouldn't have learned more about his parents. Danny left before Snape could say or do anything and he swore he was never going to go back to those lessons, never again.

Danny ended up in one of the hallways and he felt like hitting something but his anger disappeared when he heard crying. He turned and he heard Fred and George talking but he was more focused on the crying child sitting between them. He could tell immediately that he'd gone through one of Umbridge's punishments and that definitely struck a chord with him.

Umbridge then appeared in the doorway at the end of the hall closest to them, she cleared her throat a little and they looked at her. "As I told you once before Mr. Phantom, naughty children deserve to be punished."

Danny bit back a growl and she left as Fred spoke, "You know George, I've always felt out futures lay outside the world of academic achievement."

George smiled, "Fred, I've been thinking exactly the same thing."

Danny looked at them, "You two are planning something, I wish you luck."

Danny then left for the dorms and on his way he felt pain, he teleported to the bathroom and coughed up the blood in his mouth. Danny hated this, he always did but he couldn't control it so he'd have to wait until it stopped. Death whispered to him to try and keep him calm while holding his hand, he didn't want to hurt Danny.

It lasted most of the night and when it stopped he had about an hour until he had to get up to eat. He even his OWLs that day so this was not the best time to have an episode, he didn't sleep during the hour he had left. Ron and Hermione looked a bit concerned but it wasn't like Danny could skip classes so he took the tests.

He found himself taking one of his tests with Umbridge standing at the front of the room watching them. Danny had finished his test fairly quickly so he silently glared at her falsely innocent smile and Death seemed to be doing the same. Then a strange sound came from the hallway and Umbridge looked slightly confused then it happened again.

The sound got louder each time and everyone started staring at the door and Umbridge walked to the door and opened it. A small spark entered the room and split before exploding in blue fireworks and Danny smiled a little. Umbridge shocked shocked and confused, a few seconds later Fred and George flew into the room on their brooms.

Everyone's papers flew off their desks as they flew by and they threw fireworks into the air, Umbridge watched the scene in horror. Some of the sparks fell close to Danny and mini fireworks exploded in front of him and Danny couldn't stop smiling. Umbridge had to avoid a few stray sparks and Danny smirked at Umbridge in triumph.

George held up a firework and his twin gave him the go ahead, George threw it and fireworks exploded and crackled. A dragon made of fireworks emerged from the explosions and Umbridge backed up looking absolutely terrified. The dragon flew toward her and she ran, it engulfed her when she got to the doorway before exploding.

The runaway sparks hit all the proclamations hanging on the walls which shattered the glass and burned the papers a bit. When the sparks disappeared everything seemed to stop for a split second before all the frames came crashing down. Once they all landed Fred and George flew out of the room and the students ran to follow them outside while cheering.

The twins threw more fireworks into the air and kids from different rooms came to see what was going on as well and they all cheered. Danny did as well and he knew Death was clapping for the two, they scared Umbridge and made Danny smile. The fireworks created a 'W' in the air and Danny smiled before he started feeling dizzy.

He saw Hermione turn around and look at him as he fell to his knees and he saw Sirius, he was in the room Arthur had been in when he was attacked. Danny knew this wasn't real but it terrified him, Voldemort was there and he said something about a prophecy. It ended after about ten seconds and he saw Hermione kneeling on front of him, she looked worried.

Death helped him stand and he kept cursing under his breath, Hermione and Ron ran after him. Death spoke, "It wasn't real."

"I know but something is going on."

Death was quiet for a second, "I need to you listen to me, he does not have your godfather but he is after the prophecy. I can not tell you why but if you don't stop him he will find a way to get it, I'm sorry but you need to stop him."

Danny stopped on the stairs, Death wouldn't ask him to do this if it weren't important and Danny trusted him. Death couldn't always tell Danny why he knew things or why Danny needed to do something but it was always important. Ron and Hermione had been calling to him this whole time and stopped below him on the stairs.

Danny looked at them, "We need to get to the Ministry, don't ask me why but we need to get there."

Ron and Hermione looked at each other before looking at him again and Ron spoke, "What do we do?"

Danny ran up the stairs again, "We can use the floo network."

Hermione spoke, "But Umbridge has the chimneys under surveillance."

"Not the one in her office."
