*Edited. The earlier scene was platonic in his pov because that's what he has seen during his stay in London. But I guess it may appear otherwise
So I edited it

As the night started growing darker, Yami and Anubhav retired to their room. Mishika, with no will of staying in Aarav's presence any longer also stood up, but was startled when she felt him grabbing her elbow and jerking her around towards him.
"Wha_"
"Listen here carefully. Don't try to play all family family here. You and me are nothing so you better stay on your own." She visibly flinched as he grunted, inching his words, just before her face.
"Leave me Aarav." Trying to jerk him away she struggles to get away from his grip. Her face automatically morphed into abhor.
"You don't want divorce but can't even handle a little proximity." His eyes squinted and he let out his words with utter mock.
Aarav was surprised when he heard the humourless chuckle of hers. "You can't even measure how much I loathe to even breathe the same air as you." His grip on her elbow loosened even before he could realise.
The girl in front of him suddenly felt so unfamiliar and unknown. He could not even imagine that a sweet girl like her would speak with so much venom. Maybe because she never so freely vocalised her hatred towards him.
Mishika's chest was burning and tears collected in her eyes, but at the same time after the little burst out her chest felt light too.
With a hard shove she freed herself out of his grip and strides out of there.

Mishika yawned and stretched her arms and then switched off the alarm. Placing her feet on the ground she first looked up as if thanking God for another morning. After folding the duvet neatly she placed her phone on charge.
In the meantime her eyes fell on the bed which still looked neat and untouched, signalling that he never returned to the room last night. She let out a breath and ignored it and went to do her morning business.
Even though she had been staying there for a week, she still didn't bother to arrange her belongings in his closet. Picking out an attire for the day she marched back in the spacious bathroom. Hanging the clothes on the hook she turned the shower on to first settle the temperature.
A loud and startled gasp escaped from her lips and a sudden pain surged through her back because of being pushed against the tiled wall. Her body tensed up feeling his tall frame hovering over her. His one palm had her throat captive in its mercy while the other moved to the shower head settling it exactly upon them.
The shower running in its peak pressure drenched them in no time. She could make out the carving of his muscles through the clinging of the wet white t-shirt to his chest as he breathed like a beast. At the same time the realisation of her own clothes striked her. True to her thoughts the thin cotton kurta was sticking on her curves like a second skin.
"You loathe breathing in the same air as me, hnn ?" Her heart almost leaped out of her chest with his loud roar. "What will you do when I eat your breath out ?" Her lips quivered as with the intensity he spoke, she could feel the brush of his lips against hers.
Her lips parted and even under the running water her mouth went dry, feeling his palms cupping her waist after slipping inside the kurta. "You are still not strong enough, Honey-eye." His eyes held so much fervency while they bored into her hooded ones.
He stepped back finally leaving her throat and now she more vigorously panted for breath. Keeping his eyes fixed on her he further stepped back and then sprinted out, leaving her with uneven breaths and messed up emotions.

Done with the proof reading for one last time, she clicked on the send button and let out a breath.
"Windup of this memorable vacation. Work calls." Picking the files she arranged them properly and then kept them back in her suitcase securely. She has never felt as relieved at the end of her holidays as she is feeling this time.
Her stomach growled as a reminder that she had to pamper it too. After Aarav's stunt in the morning, Mishika lost her appetite and him being seated just beside her on the dining table didn't help a lot either.
Seeing Yami humming to herself and cooking in the kitchen surprised Mishika, since usually Yami would be at her work during lunch hours.
"You didn't go to the NGO ?" A smile spread on Yami's face as she saw Mishika walking closer. She was happy that slowly but still Mishika was finally opening up.
Yami runs an NGO which funds for the help of women in need, who have no shelter or job. Especially those who have been the scapegoat of the stereotype society's norms and hypocrisy. And ever since Mishika learnt this, her respect for Yami has only heightened.
"It was a half-day so I thought of cooking lunch myself."
Humming in response, Mishika slowly tried to peek to see what Yami was cooking. Yami noticed it and let out a soft chuckle and a slight tint covered Mishika's cheek on realisation.
"I'm hungry." Mishika blushed shyly when her gaze met with Yami's. There was still time in lunch hour and she was already complaining about being hungry only made her flush.
But on contrary, Yami beamed with Mishika's word. "I was thinking of taking lunch for father and son duo. We both can have lunch with our husbands and you can also visit the office."
Upon Yami's suggestion Mishika's smile instantly dropped and she could already feel herself losing her appetite for the second time in the day. How would she eat with the man who was the reason for losing her appetite ?
"No, actually don't do that. I've cooked his favourite Fried Rice and Kaju-Paneer Masala. He will eat it all alone and you won't get it." Yami thought out loudly. "You have something first and then we can leave."
With a relieved sigh Mishika grabbed a plate and filled it with food to fill her stomach. Later she went back to the room to fix her hair and grab her phone and purse, though not before thanking Yami for the tasty food.

She could feel the muscles of her neck slightly aching as Mishika continued to stare at the tall glass building with the golden bold logo of 'Oberoi Corp'.
Mishika closely followed Yami inside the building and the receptionist smiled widely at the sight of Yami.
"Good afternoon mam" Yami responded with the same enthusiasm while Mishika smiled politely.
"Shall I inform them about your arrival ?" Yami gave a slight nod of approval.
"Yeah, tell them to clear their schedules for the next hour. Their wives have brought lunch for them." She happily waved the lunch box in her hand.
The receptionist's eyes widened as she flicked her gaze to Mishika. "So she is the wife ?" Seeing Yami nodding, Mishika too nodded reluctantly.
"Hello mam, happy to meet you." The sudden enthusiasm of the receptionist left Mishika taken back and she let out an awkward smile while trying to pull her hand out of the receptionist's hold.
Yami laughed and then moved towards the elevator and Mishika was quick to follow her. "Don't mind her. She is always just a little too excited."
Though Mishika wanted the elevator ride to never end, yet for her displeasure soon they reached the thirty-ninth floor.
"Mr. Das here will guide you." And before Mishika could even comprehend anything Yami was already retreating to the other direction.
"Hello Mrs. Oberoi, I'm Aarav's sir's assistant." Mishika gulped, as the reference gave a bitter taste. However, not to appear rude anyhow tried to smile at the man in his early thirties.
"You can go inside." They stopped once they reached the cabin which had Aarav's name on the door. Mishika thanked him who left quickly and then she took a deep breath before pushing open the door.
Her anxious eyes instantly met with his notorious charcoal ones as his voice echoed in the spacious lavish cabin, "Hello Honey-eye"
He had his head tilted in her direction but his body was leaning against the chair on which an unknown lady was sitting. And Aarav had his one arm on the desk and another on the chair's armrest, leaning from sideways. Disgust crawled in Mishika's skin at the sight.
"Maa has sent lunch for you." Her voice came out dry that only made his smirk stretch.
His head dipped down blocking their faces from Mishika's sight as he whispered to the lady, who blushed instantly, aware of the other gaze upon them.
Enough of his antics Mishika stormed to his desk and placed the lunch box with a thud. "You know what, go to hell."
Her body spinned when he caught her wrist pulling her to himself. "Hell has its own fun, baby." Shiver ran down her spine when his fingers tucked the extra stands behind her ear and she quickly tried to step back from his touch.
"So rot there." She gritted out pulling her wrist away from him. Throwing another disgusted look at him she left the cabin. And he watched her leaving.
His attention was dragged out of the daze when he felt a hand on his chest. "Can we go out for dinner tonight ?"
"Some other day." And he slightly pushed her hand away that made her frown.
"But why ?"
"Because my father is on a loyalty mission." Pinching the bridge of his nose, he muttered in a slow voice which went unheard by her.
"My assistant will deliver the documents to my father and you can finalise it with him and take that to your boss." The lady's brows furrowed on his sudden flip of behaviour but the mention of her boss reminded her of the purpose she was in 'Oberoi Corp'.
"Call me soon." Aarav nodded his head languidly and subtly twitched his head away when she leaned in to kiss his cheek. Her eyebrows drew together however she left in a rush.

Hues of beautiful orange and hazy yellow were casting a breathtaking reflection of the adieu-ing sun in the calm lake.
Under the calmness of nature Mishika was searching for her own calmness and was sitting with her back leaning against the back of her only best friend Ishan.
"He is one such lucky asshole to have you in his life, but he never learned to appreciate the goodness of his life." The scoff in Ishan's words dominated the exasperation of his voice.
"Why am I so weak ?" Breaking the silence she said out of the blue and Ishan tilted his head. "I can't even keep a grasp on my own emotions. Why the hell am I so weak ?"
"Only you think that. See from my vision, you are a survivor." Sliding his hand closer to her he held her palms and began drawing random patterns on the back of her palms.
Crouching her head to rest on his shoulder comfortably she let out a dry chuckle. "Just a survivor, not a fighter."
"No one survives without a fight." Came his instant reply and his hold tightened around her palm.
"You're like the moonlight Mishika. So underrated. People only notice its fragile beauty but it has the power to embellish the darkness of the night." She smiled, a genuine one. Ishan has always been her go-to comforting person.
"And no matter what we try it is destined to be bound with the darkness." His words felt distinct as he stared in space with stupor.
And again silence enveloped them.

"Beta do you really have to go ?" Mishika stopped chewing on her food when Yami's voice travelled to her ears. Keeping her gaze fixed on the plate she nodded her head muttering a small 'yes'.
"Is Mishika going somewhere ?" Anubhav asked and gestured to the maid standing nearby to pass the casserole.
"Her leave is ending tomorrow so she is willing to move back to her apartment." Yami sighed out while Mishika discreetly stole a glance at the man who was sitting beside her and was casually savouring his food.
Anubhav moved his gaze from his beloved wife to his daughter-in-law and then to his son who was as cool as a cucumber.
"The route from here is longer than from my apartment. And also the public transport is quite far from here." Sensing the conflict arising in the ambiance Mishika tried to explain.
"I'm sure the driver can drop you." Anubhav suggested and glanced at his wife who looked satisfied with his offer.
Aarav gnashed his teeth together and his hold turned rigid around the spoon. "Let her leave. It has to happen someday anyway."
Pushing the chair with force Aarav got on his feet and turned to leave the dining hall meanwhile he royally ignored the vociferation of his parents.
"When will this boy learn to behave ?" Yami quickly stood up to rub the back of her husband who visibly looked pissed at their son's behaviour.
"I'm sorry from his side Mishika." Rolling her lips, Mishika quickly shook her head to assure her parents-in-law. She has seen and heard much more of his barbaric behaviour and it was nothing in front of all those.
