I didn't want to wake Luke up when we got to my house. He looked so peaceful sleeping there, with his soft little snores and wicked hair. I just couldn't.

But I knew I had to, we had school tomorrow.

I unbuckle myself and also Luke, and then I get out of the car. I walk over to Luke's side, almost tripping twice since I couldn't see anything in the darkness. I open the door and lean down so I am kissing Luke's forehead.

"Babe." I say, shaking him lightly. He stirs a little but doesn't open his eyes.

"Come on love, we're home now. We have to go inside. You can sleep when we get upstairs." I whisper in a mother like tone, pressing another light kiss to his head. He feels really warm, he might be catching a cold. His eyes flutter open slightly and he moves to get up.

I lead him inside, his groggy state making him almost 100 percent unaware of everything around him. He trips on my stairs, walks into the wall a little, and accidentally grabs my boobs in his hands. I'm not so sure it was an accident though because he sleepily smirked as he let go.

We slowly walk up the stairs, me mostly carrying the sleepy boy.
When we finally do get to my room, Luke takes no time in plopping down on my bed and falling fast asleep. It's almost as if he's drunk. He's so tired.

I undress myself and slip on one of his t-shirts and a pair of short shorts. Then I walk over to Luke who is cuddled up against my penguin pillow, smiling in his sleep. He's taking up nearly the entire bed with his long lanky legs. I try and make him more comfortable as I take off his shoes and slip off his leather jacket, then take off his shirt. His jeans are the hardest part. Those damn things are nearly painted on. But then when they are finally off, I turn off the light and climb into the bed.

I snuggle into Luke's back and wrap my arm around his body. I press my lips to the back of his neck, mostly for a kiss goodnight, also to check if his temperature has gone down. It hasn't, he's basically burning up. Poor boy has probably got the flu. I take the blanket off of both of us even though I am quite cold and I snuggle more into his back.

Then I fall asleep also.

I wake up to the sound of a gagging noise. Then I feel Luke get up and run somewhere, probably to the bathroom. I was right, he's sick.

I get up quickly and walk to the bathroom. Then I throw my hair up in a pony tail and open the door. Luke is there, emptying his stomach of the dinner we ate hours before.

I walk over to him and rub his bare back soothingly. I cringe when he throws up again.

"I'm going to be right back Hun. I'm going to get you some water." I tell him. I get up and run down the stairs, almost falling twice. God I'm more clumsy than he is. I get him an icy cold glass of water and then run back up the stairs, careful not to spill anything. When I get back up there, Luke is laying on the floor, all sprawled out. I freak out for a second and set down the glass.

"Fuck! Luke are you okay?" I ask frantically, kneeling down to him and touching his flustered cheeks.

"Fine, the floor's nice and cold." He responds groggily. He makes a type of snow angel motion on the floor and then closes his eyes.

"Babe. I know you are sick, but you can't sleep on the floor. Come get some water." I say. I assist him as he stands up and walks to the glass of water. He chugs it down like I tell him to and then he lays back down on the bed. I run down stairs to grab him more water and also a bucket just in case he needs to throw up again.

I knew this routine well, Dylan used to get sick all the time after mom died, I'm not sure if it was from the lack of eating or he was really just sick but he puked a lot.
