Coffee [2]

Was that picture always in the coffee shop? Or was Tweek Tweak just noticing it for the first time today? This wonderment caused a twitch to come from the scraggily blonde mess sitting behind the counter.

It was a simply drawing of coffee beans surrounded a simple, cream colored mug. It was a mostly brown painting with hints of green. Tweek has watched the painting for a seemingly endless amount of time, until his mind was pulled from thought.

"Tweek dear," his soothing female voice came around the corner. The sudden sound made Tweek jump,
"Ah!" He squeaked, turning around at lightning speed. The woman, a brown haired girl with green eyes didn't bat an eyes as she made her way closer.
"I came down to tell you that our father and I will be closing early, so grab your things."

Obviously a mother would be used to her sons 'quirky' behaviors.

Tweek twitched more before scurrying into the back room of the coffee shop and getting his book bag.
"Ngh- eh" were sounds that left his mouth daily when felt nervous.

Which was always.

Tweek was what some might call a unique boy. He was an anxiety riddled mess with hints of ADHD, and a coffee addiction. Some might call him homeless, if you went based of appearance. Others would call him a spaz if you based it off of behavior. Tweek really didn't care what he was called or believed to be by his peers. He was too focused on being nervous all the time to worry what others thought.

The car ride home was a quiet one, except Tweeks fidgeting and occasional sounds, it was silent. Rain drizzled from the sky, and Tweek starred out the window.
"So honey, there was something I was wondering." His mom finally spoke up, half way through their car ride.
"Ah! W-what is it?" Her son asked, his breathing picked up, and became heavier then usual.
"Has your sleeping been any better lately?" She seemed absentminded as she asked, but don't be fooled, she did have her full attention on Tweek.
"N-no! Not really!" Tweek responded, his body beginning to shake the more he thought about sleep.

Tweeks relationship was sleep was a complicated one. He seemed to never sleep, and when he did, it wasn't peaceful. Every night he stayed up pacing back an forth in his room and pulling out his hair. And when he finally managed to fall asleep after two days of being awake, he always dreamt the same thing.

He dreamt of a boy with dark hair and blue eyes. He was gorgeous. Tweek didn't think he was gay before he started having those dreams. Although to be fair, Tweek didn't think he was anything before he had those dreams. But that boy, well, let's just say, Tweek hasn't seen a prettier face in his whole life.

"I'm sorry sweetheart..." his mom sighed. She was half aware of her sons predicament when it come to sleep. She knew he had sleep problems, and assumed it was just night terrors, since he woke up screaming. He kept his mouth shut up the black haired mystery man, not wanting to inform his parents, because it felt silly, and if they just so happened to be secret spies monitoring his every move, pretending to be his parents, then they really didn't deserve that information in the first place.

"How about this," she began in more of a cheerful tone, "I found this new sleep medication for you to try." She smiled softly. His mom was sweet, but not very bright, and it never occurred to her that the sleep problems her son had were heavily dependent of the coffee she fed him constantly.

"No way man!" Tweek yelled loudly, pushing himself close to the door, "who knows what those will ngh do to m-me! I don't trust them! What if they kill me!?" He began to ramble, and his mom simply stayed quite. She had learned a while ago to never engage in her sons wild fantasy's.

And she definitely wasn't surprised when the moment they pulled up to their house, her son bolted out the door and ran down the street.

He'd be back before supper.
