I wrote this short late last year but it had been in the drafts for so long until early this week, when I realized I could enter this in a contest. After editing for the final time (tbh, I lost track of how many revisions this short already went through) I realized I  exceeded the contest's maximum word count, so no, I'm not going to enter this anymore.. 

Nevertheless, I'm, happy with what I came up with today. I didn't think I could still write a short romance, but this turned out alright so I'm posting this! :)
