Ashima pestered her mum with lots of questions. Kalaiyarasi knows what happened between Ashwin and Ashima. She has advised both Ashwin & Ashima about it back then, but she doesn't know the fact that Shekar is the man behind all these issues. She wanted to make these both talk it out but definitely not on their first day of meet after ages.

Ashima : Ma, stop. I need to talk to you.

Kalaiyarasi : what is it?

Ashima : what did he pass to you?

With lots of polambifyings, Ashima went to her room. She saw that little box placed on her bed. Her heart skipped a beat looking at it, she knew Ashwin must have got this for her.

She opened the box, and of course, it was a watch!

Ashima's mum knocked the room door and Ashima opened it, Kalaiyarasi saw that Ashima had opened the gift. Before she could say anything, Ashima spoke.

Ashima's mum : When you still have feelings for him, why are you hurting him and yourself by ignoring?

Ashima : Ma, please, not again.

After having that lil talk with her mum, Ashima felt disturbed. She asked herself why is she feeling this much when it has been so long, things could have changed. Why are her feelings still the same for Ashwin? Why did her heart skip a beat looking at the gift, what made her to think the gift must be for her & etc. She couldn't make up her mind on whether it's a good idea to talk with Ashwin.
