I snapped awake at my desk. I kind of freaked out for a second, because I had no idea where I was. When I looked around I saw a Co worker shaking me awake.

"Angie, you gotta stop falling asleep on the job! Your lunch break is already half way through!"

A sudden panic was soon overwhelmed by hunger. I sighed and got up.

"Man, I need to start hitting dunkin donuts more often."

My Co worker just rolled her eyes.

"Well you better get going, the boss is gonna be back in half an hour."

I got up, grabbed my purse, and started heading out. On my way out I noticed a guy I hadn't seen that much walk in with his suit coat over his shoulder. I didn't know who he was, but hey. An office building is a big place.

I headed outside and walked to a parking lot a little ways off. The office building parking lot was full by the time I got there that morning.

When I got there, I saw police officers in the parking lot. I was confused, especially when I saw them at my car. I walked up to them.

"Excuse me, mam, is this your car?"
One of them asked politely.

"Ya, it is. I don't have any weed or anything in there, if that was your next question." I mentally slapped myself.

The officer nervously laughed. "Haha, ya, that's funny. But your parking meter has been out for 45 minutes. We're gonna have you towed."

I started freaking out, I still had another half of a day at work! I tried to reason with the officers, but that weed joke didn't exactly help so much.

Out of no where, someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned around, kind of annoyed. I was trying to solve a problem for crying out loud.

I saw it was an elderly lady, and was kind of surprised. She held out her hand, and it had three, maybe four dollars worth of quarters.

I kind of just stood there in shock, not sure if I knew her or why she was being so nice.

The officers walkie talkie went off, snapping me back to reality. I quickly grabbed the coins as politely as I could, and put them in the parking meter.

I sighed, and talked to the officers a little bit longer. They eventually called off the tow truck, and left.

I turned around to thank the lady, but she was gone. I mentally slapped myself, making myself seem so selfish. But I thanked her from afar, whoever that nice lady was.

I finished work, and was so excited to get out if the building. Me and my boy freind were going on a date to my favorite restruant.

I hurried to my car, got in and drove home. Luckily the date wasn't right after work, because I had nothing to wear. Eventually I settled for a simple red dress.

The doorbell rang, and I ran up to the door. Me and my boyfreind, trey, greeted and hugged. He had brought me roses, which was amazing. We hopped in his car and left, heading to the resturaunt.

When we got there, he was so polite, it almost seemed cute. We ordered and got our food, and had a great time.

Our waitress was so nice. Her name was belle, and she had such a good attitude. We noticed she had just a little but of trouble with aa few things, seeing as she looked about 7, maybe 8 months pregnant.

Tracey and I looked at eachother, practicly reading eachothers minds. I nodded, and took out his wallet.

Belle came back with the bill, which trey payed in cash. He took out a little extra, and layed the separate cash on the table. It was a pretty high security restraunt, so we knew know one would have the guts to steal it.

We walked out holding hands, smiles on our faces. We both seemed to feel good about what we had did, as we headed home.
