Prologue: The Letter

3rd person POV:

Dear Mr. Peterson,
We hear you are the world's greatest inventor and there isn't a machine you can't invent. We were wondering if we could test that theory. Can you try to create a machine that will allow us to travel into books?
                                  Sincerely,
                                   The Fanperson
                                                   Army

Andrew Peterson read the letter about ten times, before he fully understood what they wanted and he knew just how to make it. So Mr. Peterson stood up and called to his personal assistant, "James, can you gather everything needed for an estimated work time of about seven months?" James nodded his head from the doorway to Andrew's office while saying, "Yes, of course, Sir." James then, walked off to clear Andrew's schedule for the next seven months and talk to the maids and cooks to let them know the plan from the next seven months to come.

During the time Andrew was working on this new device, he mostly stayed in his workshop, working on the device. James also came in three times a day, leaving the meals from the cooks on the table by Andrew's workbench. Finally, after months of hard work, Andrew finally completed the first working model of his device, which he called the Bookworm device.

A/N So this wasn't the best, but I wanted to show you how it all started. I won't be writing how it works because I honestly have know idea, so I'll just leave that up to your imagination.

Thanks for reading and I love you all.

This is Gina, signing off.
