Chapter 3: Apollo

Please bear with me, this chapter is based off how I remember the Titan's Curse, not the actual book and I haven't read that one since like last March, so please don't comment everything that's wrong with the plot.

Now that that's done, here's the next chapter of this book.

Jack POV:

When the girls finally came after us, Matt and I turned and started walking towards where Percy and the Di Angelo kids were.

We got to them just in time to see  Annabeth tackle the monster and disappear off the cliff, still on it's back. We saw Percy reach out for her and I immediately felt bad for him.

I ran forward to help, but his friends got there first and I love ended up conversing with Mathew, seeing as how Jamie and Maddie had gone off in their own again.

"So, uh ... how's your birthday going?" I asked, awkwardly.

"Pretty well. I mean I get to spend it with my best friends, in a book. What's not to love about that?"

I smiled at the thought that he was happy to be with me at all.

Then the Hunters of Artemis started setting up their tents and Artemis and Zoë Nightshade went inside one, followed by Percy, Bianca, Jamie, and Maddie.

I saw Nico decided nudged Matt who looked where I was and nodded. We both started towards the young child of Hades. He looked slightly spooked when we squatted down next to him, but was quick to recover. "I-I saw you! You two were at the dance too!" Matt and I nodded then shushed him, in unison. Then we both asked him the same thing, "How's your Mythomagic collection going?"

The fact that we kept doing things at the same time made the small boy giggle, his small frame shaking ever so slightly. It seemed both Matt and I had to smile at the sight, which of course made Nico giggle even more. He didn't seem aware of how adorable he looked or he didn't care, but he looked adorable, like even cuter than you ever could've imagined.

Neither Matt nor I could stop smiling and when he realized this, Nico started to laugh even harder. He shook with laughter and we still couldn't stop smiling.

Finally little Nico calmed down and me and Matt's big, goofy grins settled to a smaller smile, the kind that shows we're happy, but not elated. Then, Percy and the girls walked out of Artemis's tent and spotted us.

Matt and I quickly helped Nico up and walked towards the group. "What's going on?" The little boy asked before either Matthew or I had the chance to pretend like we didn't know what was about to happen. Percy, being the Percy that he is, stepped forward and said, "Artemis is calling Apollo to take us to camp." Nico looked up, "Cool." Then he ran up to Bianca and hugged her. Bianca smiled and rubbed her younger brother's back, gently.

Then a cherry red sports car came flying to a stop right by us and Apollo–who I'm guessing was Apollo–got out and said, "All hail the mighty Apollo. Hey little sis, what do you need this time?" Yep he was definitely Apollo. "I told you to stop calling me that, we are twins! Anyway Apollo, I need you to take these young demigods and my Huntresses to Camp Half-Blood." There was a silence where I assumed Apollo was thinking about his decision. "So can y–" Artemis started to ask, but her twin held up his hand in a sign that clearly meant stop talking, everyone. "I feel a haiku coming on." He said and all the Hunters groaned.
"Green grass breaks through snow.
Artemis pleads for my help.
I am so cool."

Apollo stood there, his arms held out like he was waiting for applause. Nobody clapped. Artemis stepped forward, "Uh that last line was only four syllables." Apollo frowned, "Was it?" Artemis nodded, "Yes, how about I am so big-headed?" Apollo shook his head, "No, no, that's six syllables." He concentrated for a while before he snapped his finger, "I've got it!  I am so awesome. Anyway you want me to take your nice ladies here to camp you say?" He winked towards the Hunters in general and Artemis said, "You do not touch, talk to, or even look at my Hunters! Yes, I must fight this monster by myself and I will be needing you to transport these other young demigods to Chiron's camp as well as my Hunters."

"Okay" Apollo said and he made a follow me motion and turned and started walking towards the convertible. All of the Hunters of Artemis followed along with Grover, Thalia, Percy, Maddie, Nico, Matt, and me. When we got there, Percy looked at the car, "Uh will we all be able to fit in that?" He gestured to the car and the god sighed, "I hate changing it out of sports car mode." Then he pulled a set of keys out of nowhere abs clicked a button. Immediately the car, which I assumed was the sun chariot, changed into a school bus. The doors opened and we all climbed onto the bus.

The Hunters sat at the very back of the bus, like they were trying to sit as far away from Apollo as possible while Thalia sat up at the very front, seeming to want the exact opposite of the Hunters. Percy and Grover were sitting across the aisle from Thalia and Nico was about three seats behind her. I was sitting with Matt, in the seat behind Thalia and Jamie and Maddie were in the seat across the aisle from us. Bianca was sitting with the other Hunters. Being right behind Thali, I heard Apollo and her talking right as the bus started moving. "So I hear you were a tree for a while. I hate it when pretty girls turn into trees." I could practically hear Thalia blushing. "So you wanna take control for awhile?" I heard Thalia's shaky reply, "N-no I couldn't."

"Sure you can." Apollo said and I heard footsteps and looked to see Thalia walking up towards the very front. I felt the bus lurch and figured Thalia was driving. Then the bus pointed down and we were falling from the sky.

A/N Did you guys like it? I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this chapter. I'm sure I didn't write it so it fits with the Titans Curse and that annoys me as much as you.

This is Gina, signing off.
