WELCOME TO DRAMA THE PLACE OF COURAGE.... But then what am I doing here?
So... Last you heard from me... I had a boyfriend, and I was dying literally everyday... Not much has changed... except the boyfriend thing... I'm single again... I've been single for about a month... Anyway that's really not important... I want to tell you about an event that happened on November 16, 2016.
Backstory: So I'm like REALLY into Drama (The class, don't be alarmed dear readers.) lately. And my high school used to do this thing called Comedy Sports. I remember writing about this once before... so ... yeah... anyway, this year my school couldn't do what everyone knows as "Comedy Sports" because its a trade marked name, and the school had to pay 750 dollars to be recognized under said trademarked name plus an additional 100 dollars for a referee to come and ref at every event. And my school just couldn't afford that, especially because every event they did was for charity and not a single penny went into the drama funds. Pretty honorable if you ask me. So they came up with the genius idea to change the high school "Comedy Sports" team to the Pun Intended team, so that they could basically do the same exact things as Comedy Sports, without paying out of the drama fund to raise money for charity. Hopefully that makes sense. So now that you have the back story... Lets get Right into the real event...
SO...On this night, at my school, I took my younger siblings (Mom's side not Dad's.) to a Pun Intended event called Improve Cafe. It was a small event, with my favorite advanced drama kids ever. The Main Stagers. These people would not get as much recognition as I give them if I wasn't serious about how incredible they are. These guys are the funniest kids on campus. I only fathom of being as good as these guys are one day. Let me set the scene of the event. Its a nice, cool, dark November night, at around 6:45 to almost 9:00 p.m. at the Wood Creek High School library on campus. The library is not very big, only about 80 students would be able to fit if you want a size estimate. Only a small group of people showed up to the "Live theater" performance. Enough to raise 300 and some odd dollars, but not an overwhelming amount that there was no space to sit, because there were seats to spare, several seats to spare.
You enter on Me and my 3 younger siblings. I'm absolutely star struck. I know a great majority of the Pun Intended victims- I mean... Players there that night, including but not limiting to...
Adam Warren- My favorite by Default because we have the same first period this term. He was in the productions Pippin and The Crucible (Would see both again if I could.).
Rion Romero- Who I recognized as Pippin from last years main stage production of.... you guessed it, Pippin (Also in this years The Crucible... I QUIT THIS COURT!). Also one of my personal favorites, but I'll never have the courage to actually say that to his face. What can I say... I'm a coward... XD. (Wasn't a player that night, but rather an assistant of sorts.)
Sean Putzier- The guy who was really the first person that got me really into Drama after my first intervention in Drama, where he told me I was good and that I should definitely do drama way more. Also in The Crucible production.
Brielle Schule- One of the two fabulous Main stagers (The other being Sydnie Knudson.) that come every Tuesday to teach Beginning drama improvisational skills, Who I love dearly, and I appreciate that she comes, during her free period and spends time with us, instead of getting out of school early, which means a lot to me. Seriously, We don't deserve those two. (Both in The Crucible.)
Matthew Norris- Who I recognized as John Procter from this years production of The Crucible. He was incredible and I had such a hard time imagining him as anyone but John Procter, but he was still amazing.
And Last but not least...
Andrew (Andy) Bravo- My favorite person in Series club, Who never fails to make me laugh. He pops into my fourth period class when he is passing out passes to the office and has a few minutes to play a game of Huggie or House with us. He wasn't a Player but he was there recording the whole thing. He was also in The Crucible, and sometimes he replaces Sydnie on Tuesdays when she can't make it. He's has such a great personality and I love him to bits.
Sorry... Tangent...Where was I?
So, Adam was there, as Supreme Chancellor, instead of a Referee because this was not Comedy Sports, and he was dressed up as a Military Sargent, and even had a little stuffed horse head on a stick that he referred to as "Lightning". (Side note: When you are Supreme Chancellor you have to take on a character, dress up as said character, and act like said character, the ENTIRE TIME you are Supreme Chancellor.)
Rion was there and Acted as, what Adam called him, his, "Squire"... which I found a little odd but I didn't question it till just now...Who came around and handed out Hersheys kisses as prizes for those in the audience who participated... In the most hysterical and amusing ways possible. He was really more of a butler though.
Then We had Sean, Brielle, and Matthew as a few of the players along with several other individuals, and a few of the Stu.Gov. kids, since that's who they were facing.
There were so many Puns. The Puns made were strong and a lot of tape was distributed, but it was all in good fun. I laughed so hard it hurt. A few of my favorite parts included:
When my little sister called foul play on Team Pun Intended for making a bad joke, and Adam gave her 5 points, and Rion ran over to her, sat down in the chair NEXT TO MINE and flicked Hersheys kisses to her, off his butler paper plate.
When Adam was taking suggestions for the game pick up line, and we actually got to where we were giving pick up lines and I suggest "Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?" and Rion was behind me taking care of other suggestors and their chocolate, and Rion turns around to face me and says as loud as he possibly can "Yes. Yes it did." And I swear my whole face turned scarlet, and I laughed really hard.
When Rion was throwing down the suggestions on paper on the ground and my step brother said "I quit this court" and Rion looked up from the ground and nodded to my step brother.
When I gave the suggestion of "Lamp" to Adam, and Rion jumped on our table and stood above us. He had trouble locating the suggester and asked "Who gave that?" and I was like "I did. Come on Rion, get on your game." And he dropped me a Hersheys kiss.
When Adam was cleaning up Rion's split Hersheys kisses (for the 3rd or 4th time that night)and Sean threw one at Adam and it hit his hat, and then Adam pouted. Rion offered him another Hersheys and Adam was like "I don't want it anymore." and Rion was like "Then give me the kiss." and so Adam went to give Rion an ACTUAL kiss on the cheek but stopped millimeters from Rion's cheek and handed him the Hersheys kiss.
And of course all the real events of the night.
I think the main stagers are starting to warm up to me. I say that because at one point, I think it was during intermission, Sean picked up a Hersheys off the ground right in front of me, and I reached out my hands to him and he gave me the Hersheys. Then he walked back to his seat behind me, but on his way, he patted my head twice.
In all the main stagers are my favorite large group of people on campus. And I want to be like them one day.

So that was my story and I'm glad I got to share. Hope you all are doing fine and I hope to talk to you all again soon.
SEE YA!
