When did it really start? How did Devin and Cely meet? This part will tackle the timeline and events that happened during the Waking Up in Vegas. 

NOTE: If you haven't read the book, this could contain spoilers. It is preferred to read the book first before proceeding with this one. But I'll try not to impose spoilers, but discussed freely the timeline here.

April 2020: This is where the story began. Cely, Caro, and Andrew have a flight bound to Vegas. They've been flying all around the world. Mentioned in the book that they mostly have a flight to Europe and Asian countries.

It was Cely's first time to be in the states so they all decided to experience what's life in Vegas. It was mentioned, before this part, that Las Vegas is prominently famous for its Casino, Adult Entertainment, and replicas of famous landmarks around the world such as the Eiffel Tower, The Pyramid, and many more.

On their first night, Cely and her friends decided to go on their own trip around Vegas. The three of them bound to the Strip where they made Cely's first and last dare. Andrew thought of the dare which was Cely kissing a stranger. Pointing out a stranger, Cely did the dare. At that moment, she had no idea who she was kissing so finding out the next day who it was brought horror to her life.

All throughout her layover in Vegas, she's looking for Devin as if she would be able to confront him, but it didn't happen when they were in Vegas not until they were bound back to Manila. Cely confronted Devin. Devin took the responsibility for her and agreed to their deal that if they would like or love each other at the end of the way, they will carry the marriage forever.

When they went back to Manila, they stayed in the Carrington mansion in Forbes Makati for a week—just to get to know themselves better. Next week after that, they got serious about it that Devin's parents visited them. Cely lasted in Carrington's mansion for a month until she discovered the truth that Devin lied to her. And their so-called marriage.

In the span of six months, Devin and Cely separated after knowing the whole truth. Cely on a roll with her job. Flying to countries one after the other. While she kept herself busy with her job, on the sideline, she has no idea what's her friends are doing. These were the months Devin was communicating with Caro and Andrew on how to get Cely back. Her friends gave him some information on how they will gonna do it. Also, Devin had help from his friend in London—Connagh Macek.

It was all just a plan until they got back in Vegas.

When Cely, Andrew, and Caro got back in Vegas, her friends knew what to do. Not knowing what would happen, her friends kept her around until the night Devin showed up on the helicopter with a banner that said Can I win you back. 

Being broken and lied, Cely thought that he doesn't deserve to give him a second chance pero dahil marupok si Aling Cely, she gave him a second chance. At this point, Cely was like atras-abante of her feelings to him. She wanted to be back with him, but also she doesn't wanna get lied to again by the same person.

But in the end, Cely gave him a second chance because at this point, from the past six months, she finally figured out his intentions towards her. So, when she agreed to be married to him. It was impulsive and all, but they believe what happened back in April meant something to happen. Cely flew back to Manila as she was still working and a week later, she got back to Vegas.

And who thought Devin died in the car accident? That was the moment Cely knew, hinding-hindi na siya madidiligan pa.

After getting back a week later in Vegas, Cely and Devin started preparing for their wedding. It wasn't mentioned in the Epilogue how they reached that point because we've seen those scenes from the Special Chapters! Special Chapter 1 was meeting the parents and Chapter 2 was the Bachelorette's Party... and so on and so forth.

The first week of November, Devin and Cely got married.

What about the wedding? We'll be able to see what happened at the wedding? YES! I promise it'll be up soon! We'll just take it slowly.

In short, everything that happened in Vegas occurred in plausible eight months! (Including the Special Chapters)

April 2020: Prologue (the start of the story)

May - October 2020: Six months time jump (I must say that Waking Up in Vegas will only have this kind of time jump as they were the first story and following stories after it has been followed by WUIV Timeline. So WUIVerse.

November 2020: Wedding preparation. The wedding. Special Chapters 1 & 2.
