I get ready for the party, putting on something that requires little effort without looking sloppy. I tug at the white jumper and look at Sol's soul on the chest of drawers for a long time before putting it on.

"Hey sister," I look at my mirror and see Sol staring back. "Happy birthday." I swallow my tears.

"Happy birthday," I repeat quietly and Sol touches their shoulder...I can almost feel it. "So, you'll be with me at this party?" They nod and I smile at them as I hear a familiar knock on the door. "Come in, Bishop." Beckett opens the door and smiles at me.

"As beautiful as always, Moon," He murmurs before wrapping me in an embrace. "We need to talk about Sol's letter to me...They said that I have to protect you anyway I can and I'm not sure if us together is protecting you." I take his hand gently while shaking my head.

"I have a martyr complex, Bishop. I would've saved anyone no matter what," I explain and he squeezes my hand before I break my own heart. "But if you think that not being with me will protect me and do what Sol wants you to...Then that's okay," He opens his mouth and I cover it with my hand. "Because no matter what, we'll be together. No matter how long I have to wait, no matter what gets thrown at us, we'll be together," I hold up my ring. "Because I love you." I move my hand but Beckett watches it and kisses my palm.

"I don't think I can protect you without being with you," He kisses me gently and I deepen the kiss, opening his lips with mine. He pulls me against him and I cup his face as he pushes me gently against the wall before pulling away. "You know how earlier you mentioned you were ready? So am I," I smile and try to kiss him but he pulls back. "But I need to know something...Why do you trust me after what happened with...Him?" I sigh, still smiling.

"Because you aren't him. I trust you because you're nothing alike...And because I love you," His gray eyes study me as I continue. "You are nothing like him so I trust you and love you." He kisses me fiercely and lifts me up. I wrap my legs around him and he grabs one of my legs before his other hand is buried in my hair. He walks over to the bed as someone opens the door.

"Hey, can I borrow your hair dryer...Oh," Beckett pulls away and looks at Zacharias who has the decency to act sheepish. "I'm just going to steal this," He picks up the hair dryer and walks backwards. "Wear protection," I wave my hand and he flies backwards, the door slamming behind him. "Rude!" I look at Beckett who gives me a flirty smile.

"Why did that turn me on so much?" He whispers before kissing my neck and someone else knocks on the door as he reaches for the clasp of my bra. "What?!" He yells irritably and sets me down slowly, clearly not wanting to let go. Alena opens the door with an awkward smile.

"I am sorry to interrupt but the party is in five minutes and I need to talk to Luna," She explains and Beckett lets go of me. "I can wait." He waves a careless hand.

"I don't mind," He kisses my forehead tenderly. "I love you, Luna." He murmurs before walking past Alena, offering a high five which she takes. I smile at her, picking up my hairbrush.

"What's up, Alena?" I go to brush my hair but she takes the brush.

"I will do it," She says, sounding nervous and I nod, letting her. "I was not sure if I should tell you this but...Ash has been visiting me," I slowly nod, waiting for her to continue. "He has been trying to get me to trust him but I cannot. He broke my heart, I cannot trust him again." She finishes brushing my hair and I turn to hug her.

"You'll be okay eventually. You'll find someone who you trust and love even more than him," She pulls out of the hug and I stop her when she opens her mouth. "As much as I hate how he treated you...You love him and he loves you but you can fall in love more than once. Elementals falling for one person has never been proven...I believe that so much I'm going to get you a date, male or female or neither or both...If you want one?" She looks at me for a long time before nodding vigorously.

"Yes but I think I will go for a girl this time...Less likely to be Ash again," She explains before giving me a coy smile. "So, you and Beckett are there in your relationship?" I nod awkwardly and she drops the smile for a very serious look. "I know Rias made a joke about this but seriously, wear protection. This is not even about pregnancy, this is about making sure neither of you get an STD." I look at Sol's futon and remember what happened in Professor Crescent's office.

"That reminds me, would you mind coming with me tomorrow so I can check if Sassy's pregnant?" She nods and gives me a one armed hug. "Why do we keep checking if people are pregnant?" She shrugs and wags a finger at me.

"This is going to be the last one. As much as I ship you and Beckett, no pregnancy scares," She chides and I shrug which leads her to shove me off the bed. "I am very serious. Abortion is barely legal in Northern Ireland." I frown at her.

"Have you been studying Northern Ireland?" She shrugs and I grin. "You're researching Northern Ireland for me. That's sweet...Are you concerned that we didn't need a government to get abortion and equal marriage?" She nods and Zacharias opens the door with a grin.

"Party time!" He cheers and I nod, scrambling off the floor. "And just because I was listening it's kinda concerning that you needed another government to get abortion and marriage equality." I wave my hand again and he flies backwards.

"Stop eavesdropping." I grin and follow  Alena, touching Sol's soul...I really hope they can help me through this.
