but yeah most of that was in Matthiessen state park because actually, that park was much better than Starved Rock cuz you could actually go down into the canyons and explore and swim there too. with Starved Rock you had to only stay on the trail and only once with a large canyon could you climb into the canyon. otherwise you had to stay on the trail high above the canyons.

but yeah thats where i went for a week. it was fun and very tiring!
