Backstory: at the age of a baby her original parents gave her up for adoption because they wanted a boy instead of a girl. In the orphanage growing up Vera was happy then she turned shy and cold towards others, most likely due to the bullying she endured and her former parents not wanting her at all. At 16 years old was when she was adopted by Jordan and Patricia who loved her to death. She in turn loved them too but was cold and distant to everyone else.
