I was inspired...

So after seeing Night's tour of her former house, I looked up the house I'd lived in for most of my life. And wouldn't ya know it, the pictures were still there! Apparently it hasn't been on the market for the last six years.

So yeah. Here's a tour of the house I lived in for about ten years (2004-2013).

(FYI, I'm not stealing them. Dad took all these photos...so I have a right to use them. xD)

My childhood home, in all its glory. :D

Front entryway from two different angles...

The kitchen/family eating area. I think these were taken around Easter, since we have flowers everywhere and the egg wreaths on the windows. And yes, that kid on the bookshelf is nine-year-old me.

And here's where I should mention something. We listed our house twice, so some rooms look a little different. Here's the family room, with mostly furniture we no longer have...

The dining room, in which we rarely ate. It was mostly used for when we had company.

By far, one of the best rooms in the house. The living/Christmas/piano room. I mostly read in here. :D

And now we move upstairs, in which a lot of things changed over the years...

The room which my brother and youngest sister shared when they were little... (basically the nursery).

Obviously, once they got older, they had to have separate rooms. So my sister moved out and my brother took it over. Mom made it more manly...

I should mention that my other sister had this room before my youngest sister was born. So all my siblings have used it at one point.

So, this was my middle sister's room...(we had an OBSESSION with Disney Princesses when we were younger. Looking back, it was a bit insane, but I still love some of the movies to this day so...)

Then my youngest sister took it over when she was kicked out of my brother's room.

As you can probably tell, my youngest sister was too late for the Disney Princess obsession. She did, however, join us in our Webkinz obsession. :D

So, this was my room before I was kicked out...

Look at all those bookshelves...I didn't have that kind of shelf space when I moved out. :(

Then, my middle sister took it over...but sadly, I couldn't find a picture from when it was her room.

Finally, my parents' room.

So then we move to the basement...

This was my favorite room in the house. My siblings and I spent hours down here watching library DVDs and VHS tapes. It was the life. Of course, we got rid of the only TV that hooks up to the VHS player when we moved, so we can't watch those tapes anymore...'twas quite disappointing.

And yes, I grew up knowing what a cassette and VHS tape were. I'm still quite proud of that... :D

And finally, the guest/my room. I was banished here when I was nine (okay, not banished) and lived here till we moved . But first, the original.

(That dollhouse was amazing. My sister and I spent hours playing with it, though we quit after we moved, since we couldn't find a place for it. :( )

Now, my take on it...

I spy the Hobbit on my bed...awww. Future Tolkienite in the making...

So there you have it folks. That was my home from age 2-11. This has been rather nostalgic and it was fun looking through these photos again.

Hopefully you all got a kick out of me reliving my childhood. xD
