(Above is truly beautiful. I was recently introduced to it at a staff meeting and my word, I nearly cried.)

As some of you may know, Ligonier Ministries' founder R. C. Sproul, went to be with the Lord last December. I have been sadly remorse in not writing and posting this sooner, but I'm going to do it now. 

This man was a huge part of my childhood. My family would collect his children's books and we were constantly adding to it every year. He introduced me to the idea that stories are powerful, more powerful than we are willing to admit.

Two years ago, I started reading more of his books. He had a remarkable ability to write his books in a way that was easy to follow, but still conveyed the deep truths of God's Word. I grew to appreciate this more and more as I've branched out into reading more theological works (and have had a harder time comprehending them. :P). 

He also influenced the founding of my school, but I'm not going to get into that right now. :)

Dr. Sproul, you are sadly missed on earth. But we know where you are today, worshiping and singing praises before God Most High. 

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to listen to his hymns. (I can't believe I never heard them before! O.O)
