Personality:

 Ayato is a hypocritical and self-righteous young man who does not know much about his past. He is quite cocky as he often taunts people from time to time. Ayato is a "wild man." He desires everything to be stimulating, and he is always curious. Once he sets his aims on a target, he moves forward without flinching, no matter what.

Ayato is the type to poke his head in where it does not belong  and often brandishes him partners with unreasonable orders. He is an unpredictable sort of character who does reckless things to satisfy his curiosity, stating his actions as what any pirate would do in that particular moment. He is much stronger than he looks. He also has a rather hearty appetite. 

Ayato is also someone who cares much for his friends and for others even if he doesn't show it. He lives by the philosophy that fate decides who survives based on the strength of a person's will, because the biggest existence swallows the weaker one.
