Travis and Em were dancing around the living room of the Ro'Meaves house, being the thirteen year olds they are, singing along to the song currently playing on the radio.

"Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, ooh

Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, ooh

Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, ooh

Oh-oh-oh, oh-oh-oh, ooh!!" Em giggled, grabbing Travis' hands and spinning around.

The taller male was smiling and laughing, his favorite green jacket thrown onto the dark brown couch a few feet away from them.

"Come feel my heart

It’s like an army’s marching through my chest!" Travis chuckled after shouting the lyrics to the song they both knew too well.

"And there’s nothing I can do

You know that you could be my favorite one-night stand!!" Em was confused at that last sentence but, ignored it.

Fifteen year old Travis and Katelyn were walking down the sidewalk, talking about random things that flew into their conversation.

Em was running up to the two, panting heavily. "Tra-! oh.." She had stopped in her tracks, turned the opposite way and started walking to a certain brown haired female's house.

"I don't understand Teony! He always spends time with me! Now, he basically forgot about me!!" Em paced the fifteen year old girl's room. "He's my best friend, no hers'!"

Teony giggled at this. "Why are you so jealous?" "I-... Teony I'm love with him! I can't forgot him or not be mad if he ignores me!" "Come here."

The two shared a tight hug, Em burying her face into Teony's chest while she rested his head on hers'. "Try forgetting about him. Learn to love someone else?" "Teony, It's not that easy."

The four are now twenty through twenty two. Katelyn and Travis obviously flirting without realizing it, Teony not caring while Em was emotionally breaking on the inside.

"So, Em!" Katelyn started, turning her attention to the short brunette. "What?" Em asked quietly. "Who's your crush?" The bluenette shouted.

"Uh.. My crush?" "Yes, Your crush." "It's uh.. It's Dante."

The group was now twenty five through twenty seven, Travis was on one of his knees infront of Katelyn, Proposing to her in the eyes of everyone around them. "Yes, Travis!!" The female yelled, jumping into his arms. Em running from the scene with Teony following.

"Em!" "G-go.. Aw-away.." The brunette cried, leaning against a tree. "You have to stop hiding your feelings." Teony mumbled, pulling the avian hybrid into a hug. "I-it's no-not that eas-easy.."

Em sat in a chair at a table alone, gently swirling the red liquid in her glass as tears slipped down her face slowly. Looking over her shoulder to see two blurrs, one white and black, one blue and white moving around the dance floor as a slow song was softly playing in the background.

"What would you do if.... I-i.. Told y-you... Th-that I la, l-la... L-l-la.. L....la loved you?" Em looked back at the black blur, wiping her eyes after mumbling the same lyrics from their favorite song. It was closer, walking towards her.

Travis sat next to Em. "Hey, Teony.. Told me everything..." The younger immediately looked at the floor in shame. "Em, look It's-" "It's not ok Travis.. I'll leave you alone now..." And with that, She stood, set the glass down and left.

Left his life and the state, traveling with her sibling, Vylad. Getting her mind off of Travis.
