If we look at Nature we see a very important principle at work.  The principle of Increase and Decrease.  In the Spring, buds begin to form on the trees, bushes begin to put out new growth and new grass and growth begins to push up through the soil after the winter months, life is in a state of Increase.  But as we move through the seasons we come to fall and the process seems to reverse itself.  The trees begin to lose their leaves, bushes and plants who have been flowering and putting forth new growth suddenly begin to slow down, the flowers and the leaves fall and life itself moves towards a state of decrease.  

One may think that life is over when the winter months roll around and the trees are bare and all looks desolate.  But that is when life is at its most vibrant, Nature is using all its energy to prepare for next years growth. Working invisibly to prepare for its visible revelation.   

Our life follows the same principle, there are periods of great abundance and forward progress followed by times of inactivity and decline.  If one  does not understand the principle of Decrease this can look like the end instead of what it truly is.  what appears to be turning back is actually turning inward as life continues to move forward. 

There is also another princple within the process of Decrease.  It has been used by farmers for generations.  Pruning or removing what no longer serves progress.  A farmer prunes a fruit tree of superfluous branches in order to redirect the trees energy towards creating more fruit.  The tree becomes healthier because it concentrates on what is important instead of just growing and expanding without restraint.  

SUN (Decrease), may have come to you today with the message that it is time to get rid of what no longer serves you, stop wasting your energy of things, people, or situations that will not contribute to your growth.  Release them and be confident that your flowering and your flourishing will be better without them.  Sacrifice what no longer serves to find what truly belongs to you.  

SUN (Decrease) is not negative, it simply is a different way of forward movement, although it may seem that everything is moving backwards.

This line advises you to look at what part you play in situations of conflict.  If you can look with in and see that you are not tainted by negative emotions, others will joyfully join your cause. 

Line 5 

This line encourages you be honest and act with integrity and generousity, better days are ahead and your upright actions will be rewarded.
