Today's message is about Leading, although the hexagram is that of SUI (Following).  To be a leader, one must have people willing to follow.  

This hexagram is about taking the initiative so that others will follow your lead.   You need to show your success in order to get people to walk in your footsteps.  Remember actions speak louder than words.  Lead by example and others will follow.

SUI also speaks about stepping back to delegate.  Give those you lead opportunities to grow through their own action.  Allow them their time in the sun and realize that their successes will reflect back on you because you were the one who developed their talents. 

SUI also speaks about leading with humility,  lead with gentleness and in a spirit of joy and so inprire others to follow you and give you their best.  Don't come to leadership in arrogance, with your own agenda in mind instead cultivate positive relationships with those you around you so they will follow your lead. 

Because this Hexagram is static - without moving lines - its message counsels it is time to pause and reflect on your leadership, why you wish to lead and how you lead those who follow.
