I threw this toss of the iChing on Saturday but I got stuck and couldn't determine how to interpret the message, so instead of forcing the widsom I decided to sit with it for a while hoping that time would reveal the path I should take in communicating the message. 

The last week has been difficult for me as an American.  Our election presented us with some reality that many people might have wanted to avoid.  But now in the cold light of dawn we have to realize that a new day is approaching us and we can't do anything but meet it head on.  

LI (Clarity) is the universe telling us that we need to take a good look at what is before us.  It is our opportunity to learn existence from Nature.  To observe and see how life actually moves  To observe the river and how it moves with the flow, because  that is a lesson on how we deal with the obstacles in our life.  Adjusting and adapting to continue to move forward.  To observe the seed which falls into dark but manages to burst forth into the light and become more that it was.  

Finally LI tells us that we will find the answers we seek not by avoiding the hard paths but by actually walking them.  The path will reveal itself in the journey and the rough places are just as important  as the smooth ones.  

So as an American, the journey I and my country are on, might not be smooth for the next 4 years but I will continue to walk the road hoping that where I am heading will be made clearer as I travel.

This line is a warning against burn out.  Take time to revitalize your batteries.  No one can work without rest and this line is an encouragement to take time for yourself so that you can continue to move forward.
