Shih (Army)

To know fulfillment, nourish what is for the belly and not the eye

The message today is one that we have already receieved.  we saw this same Hexagram on August 23.  But on that day there were no changing lines. 

Today the universe is in flux and so Shih has returned with changing lines to give us new advice.  If you have forgotten the message of Shih, i invite yo to go back and revisit August 23, before continuing here. 

Today we see Shih return with changing lines in the 3 and 6 lines of the Hexagram.  Hexagrams are always built from the bottom up, so the first throw is bottom line and every subsequent throw builds the hexagram until we come to the final throw which is the top line. 

So let us look at the changing lines that bring us the message for today.

Changing Line 3

The universe has come to tell you that you are going to win your battle, but what you will gain has no real value.  This is the line of empty victories.  You have set your sights on a goal that has no meaning or value.   If you are fighting to hold on to a position, a place, or something in your life, it is time to realize that what you will win will have no value to you.  This is the time to stop wasting resources holding on to what no longer serves your evolution. 

Changing Line 6 

This line has come to tell us that it is time to reorganize and rebuild.  Focus on creating strong healthy relationships through generosity and support.  The battle is over, it is time to lay down your arms and return to building a good life with people who will support and love you and who you can love and support in return.  

Find people who fill your cup and when your cup is full, fill others.
