1. How To Start Eating Well?

Lately I've been trying to eat healthier. It's actually much harder than I remembered. Exercising is okay but when I have to choose a piece of broccoli over a cookie then it is really tolling on your willpower.

I've tried to start slow. Firstly I'd stay with my normal diet but have healthy snacks e.g boiled eggs, fruits, and low fat yoghurt. Cutting out foods you used to eat is still hard though. I've been getting better at it though. It feels like willpower is almost like a muscle. After you use a lot of it, it gets stronger. Now I'm starting to make healthy recipes too. Yesterday, I made the literal best ratatouille ever! Today, after a morning run, I was thinking of making a bean goulash with rice too!

It's so much fun to plan making food when you have the time! But it is still hard. I always end up having a biscuit or two at the end of the day but it's not as bad now.

Now it's the all important question time!
How do I start eating healthy?
Answer: Start slow. Work your way up slowly to eating good food. But the no. 1 thing to do is never do a diet if you want long lasting weight loss. They will never work. Ever. Unless there's a particular event you want to look thin at but are happy to gain even more weight back then go ahead. Otherwise, diets won't help you. Eat good, clean healthy food and everything will fall into place <3
