Josh and I flew through the town. The wind blew my hair and tickled my face. I through my hands in the air and laughed. Josh swerved in an out of the lanes with sharp turns that scared me at first but i soon cheered whenever he did them. At last we arrived at Food Gear and i jumped off excitedly. 

Food Gear was great, everything was mechanical and everyone was dressed accordingly. I loved the whole thing but the thing i enjoyed most was talking to Josh. He told me so many stories and things i never knew about him. And i told him stories about me that made us crack up. As we finished our salads, i finally brought up something that had been on my mind.

"Hey Josh?" I said.

"Yeah?" He answered.

"Can i ask you something kind of crazy?" I suggested.

"Crazy it is." He smiled.

"I want to be doing more." I thought aloud. 

"What do you mean?" Josh said.

"Im looking at the world around me and im seeing all these terrible things happen. Things no one can stop." Josh nodded to show me he was listening though i could tell he was still confused.

"But what if someone could. I have these powers, shouldn't i use them to help people." I asked. Josh thought for a moment.

"Zoe, I like your idea, i really do." He began. "But, are you sure you can control your powers enough to save people. I mean, what if thing went hectic and you wound up-" Josh stopped himself.

"If i wound up what?" I raised an eyebrow and when he didn't say anything i tried again. "Jos, if i wound up WHAT?"

"Hurting someone." He finished and i was a bit taken aback.

"Ouch." I responded.

"Zoe, i don't mean it in that way, it's just i dont know if you can control your powers."

"I can," I said and looked into his eyes. "You just don't know i can." 

I sat there, looking at this boy, with a hopeful eyes. Josh looked back at me, his familiar grin shining. He stared into my eyes and that was the first time i realized i loved him. And then, it just happened, Josh Osborn kissed me. Right then and there. And time stopped. Everyone stopped talking and stopped moving, the only thing that mattered in the world was us. I smiled brightly and then Josh said.

"Ok super hero."
