Part 3
Kaylee and I had been driving on the road for almost an hour. I had my hands in gloves, Kaylee said it would decrease the chances of me blowing up the car, though that didn't help my nerves much.
"Where are we going?" I asked for the fiftieth time.
"Some where that if you loose control you won't hurt anybody." Kaylee repeated.
"And where is this guy that's supposed to help me?"
"He'll meet us there."
Finally, after what seemed like forever, Kaylee pulled off the high way and on to a dirt road that seemed like it hadn't been touched in decades. We bumped around on the uneven ground, far from humanity. Soon the "road" ended and my sister stopped the car. I climbed out and looked around. Surrounding up was an empty field of dead grass and over grown trees on the outskirts.
"How did you find the place?" I asked.
"I know a guy." Kaylee smirked.
Shortly after we arrived another car pulled in. It was a fancy red Lamborghini with a loud engine, the top was down and inside was a rather attractive guy. He wore black sunglasses, blue jeans and a white t-shirt. He stepped out of the car and his black nikes squashed the weeds in an instant.
"This guy is a scientist?" I questioned.
"Yup." Kaylee said smiling.
"Hey Kaylee." Greeted the man.
"Hello Josh." Said my sister then turned to me. "Zoe, this is my friend Josh, he has his masters degree in Medical Care, biology and chemistry. He's at the top scientist of our class. Josh is 17, like you, but he got moved to a higher level." I nodded and Josh took off his glasses. I gazed up at the brown eyes of a deer. I felt pathetic with my short brown hair and hazel eyes compared to this movie star in front of me.
Me Vs him
Anyway Josh went to a shake my hand but saw it was gloved.
"I wouldn't advise it." I said and he scrunched up his nose, thinking.
"Well, Zoe I presume, glad i could finally meet you, Kaylee says good thing about your work in chemistry." Josh said politely and i secretly rolled my eyes.
"Yeah yeah, can you fix me?" I was getting straight to the point and held out my gloved hands.
"I have a few ideas. But first i need to see what you can do." And then i realized why they brought me out to this big field.
"No." I whispered.
"Zoe it's nothing big just-" Kaylee tried but I ignored her.
"No I can't!"
"You're going to be ok." My sister said and grabbed my shoulder.
"Zoe, i need you to trust us." She whispered.
"I trust you." I mumbled.
"Ok." And Kaylee gently removed my gloves.
