'I sat at my desk in the Tennessee Research Lab, studying a new substance of Nuclear Liquid. I held the lime green liquid in my hand, examining it. And then, all of the sudden for no apparent reason, the bottle explodes. Right then and there in my hand, covering me in the acid that burned  as it seeped into my skin. I sprung up from my chair and ran to the emergency faucet then doused myself in ice cold water. But no matter how many times I splashed water on my face the burning didn't cease. I sank to the floor unable to contain my pain and green flooded my vision. The whole room turned green and my screams faded.' 

I shot straight up with a silent scream. My head hurt badly and I was breathing heavily. It had been two weeks since the incident yet I was still replaying it in my head rather than sleeping. I crawled out of bed and walked to the bathroom. I turned on the sink and splashed my flushed face with cool water. I took a deep breath trying to calm my beating heart and dried myself. I looked at myself in the mirror, gently running my fingers over the scar on my left cheek. 

As I turned to walk out the bathroom door I saw a figure. I screamed and instinctively raised my hands. In an instant I was flying towards the bathroom wall and the figure was propelled across my room. I collided with the wall and sank to the ground.  Everything was blurring and my head was blazing with pain.  I felt something warm trickle down my face and on the back of my head down my neck. It wasn't long before the warm liquid fell on to the floor,  it didn't matter whether my vision was blurring or not, I knew that it was blood. 

I was shaking all over as I stood up. I stumbled to the door and clutched the wall near it. My knees buckled beneath me and it took all I had left in my arms to hold myself up. 

"H-h-hello?" I mumbled.

"Ow..." Grumbled my older sister's voice. 

"Oh my god!" I said when I heard her voice. There was a bit of thumping around and then I heard a loud bang. It sounded like Kaylee, my sister, fell.

"Ah!" She cringed.

I screamed looking down at my hands. I had hurt somebody, I did something super human. I had almost killed my sister. I let go of the wall and staggered to the mirror. When I saw my bloody face a shriek escaped my red lips. 

"Zoe calm down," Kaylee said slowly walking towards me. 

"No! Don't come near me.!" I cried, stammering away.

"It's ok-" Then my sister walked into the light. Air caught in my lungs when it hit her injured face. 

"I'm a monster! STAY AWAY FROM ME!" I stumbled back, running from her. "I don't want to hurt you!"

"Listen to me." But by then I couldn't, I was shaking and looking down at my hands. 

"Don't! Get away from me! GET AWAY!"

"ZOE ENOUGH!!!!!" Screeched Kaylee and I stopped. I looked up at her and tears flew down my face.

"Help me."
