the truth untold
to blossom in the castle of torment
lonely dells and towering trees
you hide away from the sun to resent
evergreen sways with gentle breeze
but they aren't like you
veiling behind their mask
sun rays they reach out to
answering questions you never ask
then their arrives another light
the sun no longer a match
impossible to keep her out of sight
she holds the key to your night latch
but she steals those you bloom
and you let her out of pity
no fondness, right?
for love their is no room
not in your borne down garden
of words no one heard
there is no cross over
the fine line blurred
still, you want and want and want
so selfishly, there is another word
a gone reflection you haunt
turns peaceful, the arrival of a bluebird
one more time, her brightness unfold
she comes over to steal your flower
you plant for her one new
you name it, smeraldo, the truth untold
since there lays mute darkness behind your tower
and the happiness you sold
but one day, she stops appearing
again, your garden starts to decay
no light for them to bloom, no words left hearing
again, the sun judges and you hide away
and still, you want and want and want
too afraid to say out loud another word
a silhouette of her left to haunt
you named it smeraldo
but love was the term longed and unheard
