freedom wears sweetness
enjoyment lingers till gone
as bitter stays my weakness
and comfort was withdrawn
misery hilted me instead
the evil's wily a mile path ahead
my lump filled throat
wears a strangling rubber band
to seek distance is to suffer a setback
a hundred times more grand
a deadly frequency rings in my ear
chasing lost voices for no one to hear

begging for mercy in buried time
