Amber's POV.

We arrive at our pack by nightfall. Man it feels so good to be on or grounds again.

We run to the pack house where Kurt stood waiting for us. Cassandra and John were right next to him as was a few guards and the Luna.

They were all grinning. Kurt looked so different. His Alpha power was coming off him in waves. He grew into his Alpha power.

We shifted back and went to greet them. Alpha George went and kissed his Luna. She grinned and hugged him.

After that he looked at Kurt. " Your Alpha power has grown a lot. I'm proud on you my son. " says Alpha George embracing his son.

" It's good to see you dad. " he said.

He smiled. I ran up to John and grabbed him in a huge hug. " It's so good to see you John. " I said.

" I'm so glad you guys are safe. " says John.

He then went and hugged our dad. " Your power has grown as well John. I'm proud of you. " says my dad.

Kurt turned to Alpha Grace. " You must be Alpha Grace. I'm Alp... I mean I'm Aloha George's son Kurt. Welcome. " says Kurt holding out his hand. She shook his hand.

" Thank you Alpha Kurt. This is a beautiful pack you have here. " says Alpha Grace.

" Thank you Alpha, but I am not Alpha anymore seeing as my father has returned. " says Kurt.

She gave a knowing look. " Well to me it looks like your father is going to keep you as Alpha. The look on his face tells me everything I need to know. " says Alpha Grace.

Kurt looks back at his father. Alpha George has a look on his face that shows how proud he is of Kurt.

" She right Kurt. I've been talking to your mother over mind link and she's told me everything you've done working this pack for me while I was gone. She's also asked people around the pack and they said they love you as Alpha. It's time you took over this pack. " says Alpha George.

Kurt looked completely shocked. " But Dad you just got back and the pack war, what are we....." he was silenced when Alpha George raised his hand.

" It's time Kurt. You've prepared this pack for this pack war so well. I will be announcing to the entire pack tomorrow that you and Cassandra will be taking over as Alpha and Luna. " says Alpha George.

Kurt took a deep breath. " Thank you dad. I won't let you down. " says Kurt.

" I know you won't. " says Alpha George.

John then looks behind us. " Who are they?" He asks.

We look. Matt and Clair are standing there looking a bit shy. Matt raises his hand and waves.

" This is Matt and Clair. Clair is a werewolf like us while Matt is human. " says Alpha George.

" Were from Alpha Lucas's pack. " says Matt.

" Well it's nice to meet you two. I've never met a human before. " says Kurt walking up and shaking their hands.

" Your a lot like your father. " says Clair.

" Well he is my dad. " joked Kurt. We laughed a little at that.

" The first pack should arrive early tomorrow morning. It will be Alpha Benjamin and some of his guards. " says Alpha George.

We nod in reply. " Why don't you kids go visit Clayton, Tasha and Amelia. Enjoy your night. We are going to go in and make a few preparations for tomorrow. " says Alpha George.

" Do you need my help father? " says Kurt.

" Not yet son. Go enjoy your night of relaxing before you become Alpha tomorrow. " says Alpha George.

" Yes Alpha. " says Kurt.

We smile and start walking away, keeping Matt and Clair with us.

" So who are these other people were meeting? " Asks Clair.

" We're meeting my best friend Tasha who is mated to one of Connor's best friends Clayton, and Amelia is my brothers new mate. " I say.

They nod in response to that. We head over to my house. The three are outside on the grass waiting.

Tasha sees us first. " AMBER!! " she yells. She gets up and takes off running to me. I quickly drop my bag and take off towards her as well.

We meet halfway in a hug that sends the two of us to the ground laughing. Connor walks forward and hugs Clayton.

" It's so good to see you guys. " says Clayton.

I get up and walk over to Amelia. I then surprise her by hugging her. " It's good to see you Spark. " I say.

She laughs and hugs back. " It's good to see you too Amber. " she replies.

" Man, I'm exhausted. " says Connor.

" Come inside. Your mother made a delightful meal. We were waiting to eat so we could enjoy it with you. " says Tasha.

" Sounds amazing. I missed you guys. " I say.

She laughs and together we all walk inside. I'm greeted by my mother and she give me a hug and a kiss on the head. She then does the same to Connor.

" Oh by the way. This is Matt and Clair. Matt is human. " I say.

" Woah, a human. " says Clayton poking Matt's arm.

Matt looks at Clair and the two just start laughing at him. I grin and we all sit down on the table. My mom gets us all our food and we all start eating.

It was a pork roast with green beans and rice. Nothing beats one of my moms home cooked meals. I sure missed this while we were gone. I missed her more then anything though.

We start telling each other stories or what happened while we were gone. What Kurt and John has to deal with and what we had to go through with many different packs.

It was all so crazy and we spent the night laughing and enjoying ourselves and treating the others like they were part of our family.

That's what we do, cause when your with us. You are family. It doesn't matter where you are from or who you are. When your here, your home, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
