Next Morning~

I walked silently through the barely lit hallway of the yacht. Only a few minutes left till sunrise, I could not sleep the whole night due to the pain in my palm. Kengi had crashed down on his bed after dinner along with my seniors so I was left alone to fend for myself. 

My hand was still throbbing but it was better than before. I still am unable to fully process what happened. Everything so fast and instinctively. If they weren't there...

Gosh Miguel would have undead me and killed me himself again. I chuckled at the thought.

I walked up the stairs and stood on the deck, watching the sun peek shyly from the horizon. The night sky was greeted by the yellow and orange hues of our sun, I watched as the colours merged and created a bewitching view.

A peaceful sigh escaped my lips as the view calmed me.

"You are up." I heard a familiar voice say. I did not have to turn around to see who it was.

"You are up too Mr. Luis" From the corner of my eye, I saw him stand beside me and look at the view. 

"I'm always up early. You couldn't sleep, could you?" I looked at him before shaking my head.

He gave out a worried sigh and reached out to grab my wrist and pulled my injured palm closer to his worried eyes. I slowly removed my hand from his hold.

He still makes me feel very uncomfortable. And even more now after that incident. I did not like where his hand went.

He sighed. "Thank you for your concern Mr. Luis but I'm fine now. Thank you for also saving me yesterday and also I'm sorry for behaving so rudely with you the other day," I said quietly and turned my gaze to the view again but I could feel his lingering gaze on my face.

"I'll accept your apology if you accept my confession..." He said after a few moments.

I looked at him shocked and horrified.

"What?!"

"You heard me...be my boyfriend and I'll forgive you..."

"Kengi remember to take clear pictures of the shark, especially the eye," I said and he nodded his head before wearing his mask and diving into the ocean. I sat at the side of the deck and watched the fishes swim underwater in a rush. Antonio had already dove into the water before Kengi and so we did not meet.

After Mr. Luis confessed to me, Kengi came to save me just in time and took me away from him while giving him the stink eye.

I was very much relieved and avoided him the whole day.

I was so lost in my thoughts that I did not notice how the hour passed and Kengi was swimming back to the deck. He got out of the water and made a beeline to the photo machine.

It was like those office printers but instead, it printed out photos and it's not wireless.

Kengi immediately started printing the photos. I walked to him and helped him remove his equipment.

"Why did you tell me to click pictures of its eyes?" Kengi asked suddenly and looked at him in confusion.

Did he not see what I saw yesterday?

"I thought I saw a round white thingy in its eye but was too excited about the shark to think about it." Kengi nodded before turning back to the machine.

That meant only one thing.

He saw it too!

"Bye, Mr. Kim, Mr. Akabane and Rain!" I heard Dr. Costa yell from the yacht. I looked back and waved at my seniors. I made eye contact with Mr. Luis but quickly looked away, blushing slightly.

We got into Professor Rain's car and drove off to our campus.

        
                             11 am~

"Jiiiinnn!" I heard a familiar voice yell as soon as I stepped out of the car on the campus. 

"Miguel!" I was brought to a bone-crushing hug before I knew it.

"Oh my God I thought you died!" He said dramatically and I rolled my eyes. 

"There there I'm fine. See! I'm alive-" 

"What happened to your hand?!" Miguel screeched as he grabbed my wrist and pulled it closer to his worried eyes.

I rolled my eyes.

"Oh, nothing at all! We went for a dive and Jin being the stupid being he is, touched a shark and bled which almost made him shark food but our seniors saved his ass and yeah that's that I guess," Kengi said shrugging his shoulders at the end of his glorious speech.

Sarcasm intended.

Miguel looked at us with a horrified face and then his eyes turned stern. "I'm never letting you go for a dive ever!" 

"And oh, also, a senior took a liking towards Jinnie." I glared at Kengi as he gave me a smirk before sauntering away from the mess he pushed me in.

"What? Who is it?!" Miguel's eyes lit up at the thought of someone liking me.

I mean I am handsome so it's nothing new for me. I am liked by both genders.

"Don't worry, it's no one. Drop it! I'll tell you about my trip" I brushed it off and wrapped my arm around his shoulders and we walked away from in front of the gates to his class while talking about my visit to the ocean. Thankfully, he dropped it. 

                    The Next Day~

"-now we are in 2035 but still many parts of the oceans are undiscovered." I yawned as I heard our Professor Rain say something.

I am not in the mood, staying up all night and thinking about Antonio's confession did not help either!

He is the cause of my lack of sleep last night, mainly.

I bit my lips to stifle the upcoming yawn and tried to pay attention to the class.

TTTRRRIIINNNGGG!!!

The bell rang after a few minutes and I quickly stood up from my chair, grabbed my bag and walked out of the class before anyone else.

I felt my classmates confused stares at my back but I ignored them. I am usually the last to leave because I take notes which takes a few more minutes of the class, by then everyone has left but today I was the first one to leave.

I was so lost in my thoughts that I did not even hear the two pairs of shoes running towards me.

I was suddenly jerked forward by the shoulder, making me almost fall face-first on the floor. "What the-Miguel!" I exclaimed as I steadied myself.

"What's got you so lost in your thoughts?" Miguel asked as he draped his arm over my shoulders as we walked side by side.

I felt something nudge my stomach and looked down to see a copy. I looked at the owner of the copy, raising an eyebrow. "You're welcome and give it back to me tomorrow." Kengi smiled cheekily at me as he made me wrap my arm around his copy.

I huffed and told him thanks, a small smile playing on my lips. 

Kengi was an amazing friend. I am happy to have him in my life. I hope we both get into Oceania together. 

"Did your lover keep you awake all night?" Kengi asked suddenly making me choke on my saliva. Miguel perked up at his words. "Who is this lover of his?" 

"A guy-" 

"A GUY?! But Jin's straight!" Miguel exclaimed.

I am having second thoughts about my sexuality, seeing as Antonio was able to make me blush with his words.

So am I gay or bisexual?

Stupid Antonio making me question my innocent sexuality!

"Yes I know too but he's very persistent and I am pretty sure they would have been dating by now if I had not interfered every time I saw that man closing in on Jin," Kengi said, making a disgusted face.

Miguel got offended and scowled "What? You got a problem with gays?"  Kengi shook his head. 

"I got no problem with gays man but this particular guy, is too obsessed about being Jin's bf and Jin also feels uncomfortable in his presence so in short, I hate this man only and moreover he kinda looked like yo-" I elbowed Kengi in the side, making him stop talking immediately and groan out of pain.

"Wh-" 

"Aww Miguel stop worrying, it's nothing-" 

"The man looks like me?" Miguel cut me off, raising an eyebrow at us. I shook my head while Kengi nodded his head furiously, making me glare at him. Miguel huffed turned around and started walking away. Both of us rushed to him and tried to console him by saying how much better looking he is than my "lover".

This day could not get any worse, could it?

Wrong.

It reached its maximum level of worse.

"Mr. SeokJin Kim!" I heard a very familiar voice yell down the hallway. The three of us stopped walking and slowly turned around to face the running man.

I heard Miguel take in a sharp breath and I looked at Antonio with a horrified look on my face.

"Mr. Kim- Jin let's have lunch together!" Antonio huffed out as he stood in front of us, completely ignoring my friends. I cleared my throat 

"No thank you Mr. Luis, I am going home for lunch..." His smile dropped as he fixed his jacket.

"How about tomorrow?" 

"How about never?" I heard Miguel speak for the first time since Antonio came. His face was blank and his voice sounded calm, too calm actually and it scared us.

Antonio frowned and looked at Miguel. "And who are you to de-" 

"Oh, you do not remember me, Father?" Miguel cut him. I heard Kengi gasp while I looked at them shocked.

I had a hunch but did not think that it will come out true.

Antonio's frown deepened before his eyes widened as realization hit him. "Miguel?" 

"Yes, at least you remember my name, thank God for that," Miguel said before a humourless laugh escaped his lips. 

"How did y-" 

"I saw the wedding picture" Miguel said calmly. 

"Miguel I can explain..."

"Explain? Explain what? That your gay ass married my mother, made her pregnant and then divorced her as soon as the child was born cuz you were and I quote 'in love with a guy'! You ruined my mother's life! Why did you marry her in the first fucking place?!" Miguel's voice raised as the seconds ticked by.

Thankfully, the hallways were empty as it was lunchtime now.

"I just wanted to confirm if I was gay or not!" Antonio shot back. 

"And that's how you do it? By ruining another person's life?! My mother suffered so much because of you! She did everything she could to keep me happy! YOU DID NOT EVEN PAY FOR FUCKING CHILD SUPPORT!" Miguel shouted angrily as he pointed his finger at Antonio.

I watched him blink his eyes rapidly, trying to keep his tears in.

"Because of that she HATES EVERY GAY PERSON, man or woman, she hates them with all her heart." Antonio frowned 

"But you're gay...if she hates you, come with m-" Miguel gave off a crazy laugh at his words.

"WHAT THE FUCK MAKES YOU THINK I'LL LEAVE MY MOTHER AND STAY WITH A BASTARD LIKE YOU?!" Miguel shouted back. 

Antonio growled, "Miguel! I'm your fa-" 

"That's complete bullshit and even you know that. Even though you helped in making me and we share the same blood, that does not make you my father. A bastard like you is not worthy of that title. GO TO HELL!" Miguel said before grabbing my wrist.

"I am mother's son so she will never hate me and also stay the fuck away from Jin, or else I'll find you and feed you to the sharks," Miguel threatened before turning around and walking away, pulling the both of us with him.

"Just so you know Miguel! I'll never give up on Jin!" I heard Antonio yell, making Miguel's face contorted with anger and he was only a minute away from killing Antonio. I grabbed his clenched fist and pulled him away from there and our university.

Well, this was frightening. And I lowkey think it's my fault.

"You sure you'll be okay Mig?" I asked with a worried voice as we stood before his house. 

"I'll be fine, just...go back both of you and see you tomorrow..." Miguel nodded his head before entering his house and shutting the door. Kengi and I looked at each other before deciding to go to the nearest cafe and calm our growling stomachs.

                             8 pm~

Goodnight and sweet dreams my Jin️❤️.

Was the text message I got from Antonio when I came back from my shower. My face twisted with disgust and I, with quick motions, blocked his number and deleted his disgusting message.

Miguel never told me about his father and now that I know about it, I feel nothing but disgust and anger for the man.

He did not even deny the fact that he used Miguel's mother for his own selfish needs!

I sighed deeply rubbing my face and massaging some points to loosen the taut and tense facial muscles.

How the hell am I supposed to survive now?!
