To Tomorrow
When war would cease from the abode of men,
And all our plagued elms find health in daylight,
When the twilight would bring no mortal dread,
Till the dawning sun ends the gloomy night.

To Tomorrow
When graceful showers longed for will descend,
From the lofty mounts to the thirsty ground.
When dormant seeds would wake and spin yet again,
Till flowers and harvest wonders abound.

To Tomorrow,
When the sun will shine across the ocean,
From the brilliant heaven crisp, clean and clear.
When wilting orchards will bloom yet again,
And winepresses burst anew everywhere.

To Tomorrow
When wandering doves will find their way again,
With olives bough lined with glowing hallo.
When all our tears cease their endless flow,
As hope grows at the foot of the rainbow.
