Daniel glanced back over at the girl next to him when he heard her speak.

"The name is Jessica but call me Jessie," She said introducing herself."Thanks for asking if I was okay and being the first person to talk to me on the bus."

"Well Jessie nice to meet you," Daniel said with a warm smile."My name is Daniel and couldn't bear to see you sad and lonely," He stated.

"Machop, chop [She seems sweet you should spend time with her at school.] Bruce said looking up at Daniel.

"This is Bruce my number one partner," Daniel said introducing his number one partner to his new friend Jessie.

"Cool your Machop looks strong," Jessie said.

"Thanks what your Pokemon is do you not have one yet?" He asked."I heard Pokemon tech gives you a partner Pokemon if you don't have one."

Jessie looked down and reached into her pocket pulling out a Pokeball."I have a Pokemon my best friend in the world," She said softly.

"I take it to you don't have a lot of friends," Daniel said gently placing a hand on her shoulder.

Jessie shook her head."No, because I'm not like the rest of you."

[She means because she is not a rich kid right? Her clothes aren't the most expensive looking. So it must have been work for her family to get her into the school]

Daniel glared at Bruce and whispered, "Hey be nice she is no less welcome in the school because of that."

[It wasn't meant to be mean Dan.]

Daniel nodded and turned his attention back towards Jessie who was staring out the window again clenching the Pokeball in her right hand slightly.

"Well you got me and Bruce as friends now you seem cool," Daniel said holding out a hand.

"I think you're both cool as well," Jessie said shaking Daniel's hand.

The bus then suddenly came to a stop as the bus driver made the announcement.

"Alright everyone we arrived at Poketech make sure to grab all your belongings."

'Well looks like we're here at Pokemon Tech for my first year.' Daniel thought standing up from his seat as Bruce climbed onto his back.

"It was nice talking to you Jessie see you around and hope to meet your partner next time," Daniel said walking over to Wade who was in the seat on the other side from where he and Jessie were sitting.

"Yeah see you," Jessie said saying bye to Daniel.

"So you like her," Wade mocked with a smirk on his face as he and Daniel walked to the front of the bus.

"Oh be quiet it not like that," Daniel muttered annoyed.

"Oh yeah you sure didn't seem to be able to take your eyes off her for long," Wade commented.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Daniel said."I simply was trying to have a conversation with her she seemed lonely."

"If you say so Danny boy," Wade chuckled as he and Daniel stepped off the bus and saw the sight of a beautiful school in front of them.



"So this is Pokemon tech," Daniel said taking in the sight of his new home while he was studying to be a Pokemon trainer.

"Yeah," Wade said as he walked on toward the crowd of the gathering students who were on the bus with them.

As they reached the gathered crowd they both saw a tall man in his early twenties with a peach skin tone. He was wearing a black shirt underneath a white jacket. He had on grey pants and red tennis shoes.

"Hello and welcome to Pokemon tech," The man greeted."My name is Hector and I will be in dorm management so if any problems you come to me, but first I will tell you the assigned room and your roommates. We will begin with the females."

Everyone listened closely as Hector glanced list and began announcing the room numbers and roommates.

"Now finally in room 54, we have Jessica and Mable," Hector announced."All the girls will be escorted to their rooms with Mrs. Sakura with the assistance of the school counselor," He said nodding at a woman with shoulder-length pink hair."Now we will be doing the guys who will be escorted by me," He said as he began reading the names and room numbers as the girls left with Mrs. Sakura.

[Who do you think you're going to be a room with?] Bruce asked.

"I would prefer Wade, but if not I hope they're not going to be a jerks," Daniel quietly said glancing at Bruce on his back hanging on his bag.

"The last room is will be Daniel and Wade in room 75!" Hector announced.

"Awesome we're in the same room," Wade said punching Daniel's shoulder."Oh, and you never guess who is also here."

"Is it someone I should know?" Danial asked.

"Oh yeah over there," Wade said as he nodded his head to the left where a peach-skinned boy with neck-length brown hair who was wearing a red short-sleeve shirt underneath a yellow jacket, dark blue pants, and light blue and grey shoes. He also had on a white hat.

"Oh not Matthew," Daniel muttered.

"That right the great Matthew Birch the oldest son of Professor Birch," Wade said."The cutest jerk back in camp and the opposite of his little brother Brendan Birch."

"At least he is not my roommate," Daniel said.

"Same but feel bad for the kid who is his roommate," Wade replied.

"Same who is it though wasn't really listening until I heard my name."

"I don't know the kid but I think it was one of the boys in the back either the redhead or blondehead."

Daniel nodded as he followed Hector to their dorm rooms.

This is the fourth chapter of my first Pre-Ash Ketchum story. I hope you are enjoying the story so far.
