It is a beautifully warm and sunny morning in Littleroot Town, a small town in the Hoenn Region. The Tailow was out and about flying above houses, ready to start their day.

In a large yellow house with a red roof, a backyard with a fence, and Pokemon roaming around lived a young boy ready to embark on a brand new adventure. This boy was Daniel Maple, the son of two well-known Pokemon Breeders.

He was 5'1, slightly tall for a ten-year-old boy; he had short, blonde hair that stopped down to his neck and violet eyes. He was excited to be going to a new region. Daniel was heading to the Kanto Region to start his first year at Pokemon Tech and was feeling nervous and excited being in a new region plus, he knew the school wasn't easy.

While getting dressed to head off to catch the boat to Kanto, Daniel was watching an intense battle between champion Red and last year's Pokemon league winner Ethan Gold. Both of the trainers had determination on their faces.

Both of the trainer's Pokemon were amazing to watch as well. Red with his Charizard and Ethan his Dragonite. Every single move was intense, and eventually, Charizard lost to a powerful Surf delivered by Dragonite.

"Wow, that was awesome. I hope I can learn to battle like that," Daniel said with a wide smile before turning off the TV.

Daniel was now fully dressed to set off on his journey and was wearing a purple and red jacket with pokeballs on it over a grey shirt as well as black pants and red and black sneakers, and a thick red crossbody satchel.

"Daniel, breakfast is ready!" His mother called out.

"Alright, coming!" Daniel called back, heading on downstairs.

Daniel walked into the kitchen to see a beautiful young woman in her early 30s with long wavy blonde hair down her back and emerald green eyes placing a plate of bacon, waffles, and hard-boiled eggs on the table next to a cup of juice.

"Good morning, Mom," Daniel greeted, sitting at the table after placing his bag on the ground.

"Morring prince, are you ready for today?" She asked.

"Yeah, I can't wait to start Pokemon tech," He replied."So where is Dad?" He asked.

"He went to wake up your little sister Emma," She replied.

"Alright, is Emma still upset about my choice?"

"She just doesn't want you to leave. She loves her big brother."

"I know, but I feel like Pokemon tech in Kanto will help me prepare better for the Indigo, and besides, I come visit during breaks," Daniel said.

"Really, you come to visit me?" A small voice asked.

He turned to his left to see a five-year-old girl with shoulder-length honey-blonde hair and emerald green eyes wearing a pink nightgown with Eevee on it and black shorts.

"Of course, I will, Emma," He replied, ruffling his little sister's hair.

"See, everything will be fine," A man with black hair and violet eyes said, picking up Emma and putting her down in the seat next to Daniel.

"Good morning, Dad," Daniel greeted, picking up his cup to take a sip.

"Morring, so are you all packed and ready to go?" His dad asked.

"Yeah, I packed everything I need, including my Pokeball containing Bruce."

"Good, even if you didn't already have Machop, the school gives everyone who doesn't have their first Pokemon one on the first day of school," His mom explained.

"So if Big Brother didn't have a Pokemon, he would get one?" Emma asked.

"Yeah, and who knows what it would be since they don't give you the standard starters? Well, maybe a few, but there are a lot of kids, so they all wouldn't get a starter the Pokemon professor give," His dad stated.

"Alright, we'll. I better get going and brush my teeth. It's almost time to leave to catch my ferry," Daniel said, eating the last of his breakfast and standing up from his seat.

"Alright, I will be waiting for you outside to take you to the port," His mom said.

"Got it!" Daniel called back.

An hour later, Daniel was at the port talking to his mother. At the same time, his father was at home with Emma helping care for the Pokemon.

"Daniel Kanto is far from home. You positive you be okay staying away from home so long?" His mom asked.

"I will be fine; Bruce will be by my side, and I will make many friends," He replied.

"You grow into a brave boy, and you will do many great things," She said, smiling."Here is a Pokenav. It will show you how to get to the school from the port in Cerulean City. So as you get to the school, see the principal for your schedule and dorm room."

"I will do that, Mom," He said, hugging his mom."Tell Dad and Emma I love them, as well as Uncle Norman and his wife and two-year-old daughter, May."

"I will, little prince."

Daniel waved bye as he boarded the boat that was taking him to Kanto after showing his ticket to the man at the entrance and headed to his cabin room, ready to start his new journey with Bruce, his Machop. Were he will meet new people at Pokemon Tech.
